Kale pauses before following the others up the stairs, reaching into his bag of tricks. He draws out another fluffy ball and throws it into the far corner of the room, where no-one is currently standing.
Rust Bag of Tricks (2/3 per day): 6 ("Giant Boar")
"I am afraid, that "someone" will be you, as you are passing them. And if they are made of leather," Al-Ashari squinted in the deem light, "I would not be surprised if they are animated."
(If we do recognize monsters as cloaker then we know about their Light Sensitivity. (While in bright light, the cloaker has disadvantage on attack rolls and Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight). That means, with the driftglobe there, they attack with disadvantage and can not use Phantasms. Amirite?)

A straight d20 initiative for whatever Kale summoned, which if it is a giant boar, is accurate, because dex +0: 14
(Also, does he really have just a giant boar this time? Hallelujah, something with fur that looks like an actual animal? ;-) )
well it is a boar, or at least mostly what you would consider a boar to be. It's skin is more lizard-like, and its eyes are bigger than a normal boar's. It uses the stats of a boar though, so, yes, it is a boar, sort of.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: 13 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 10 piercing damage, and if the target is Large or smaller, the cloaker attaches to it.
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: 20 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: 6 slashing damage.
The second cloaker let sout a moan... Moan. Each creature within 60 feet of the cloaker that can hear its moan and that isn't an aberration must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened until the end of the cloaker's next turn. If a creature's saving throw is successful, the creature is immune to the cloaker's moan for the next 24 hours.

Encouraged by the previous success of that simple tactic, Al-Ashari repeated the sequance: Compulsion (Wis 18) - up the stairs, away from the group //it is still reachable for any melee, right?// then lvl 3 [Tooltip Not Found] (Int 18) for 10 to each cloaker.
As Whitegaze starts up the stairs, he sees two cloaks hanging on the walls about half-way up.

"Two cloaks, maybe two guests? Someone check them." And Whitegaze will continue up the stairs.
