The group would know that there are gardens of lilies outside the house.
Al-Ashari ...
You also hear the voices from the study, but ignore them, intent on getting down to talk to the butler. You find him in the basement.
"If the Dutchess believes it to be so, then it must be." The butler tells you with a shrug. It is clear to you that this man worships the Dutchess and would never say anything that counters anything the woman says.
Everyone in the Study...
"Very nice indeed." The Dutchess says with a slight smile you have not seen before. She glances towards the windows though, looking out into the unending downpour outside. She appears to be waiting for someone still. After a moment she turns back. "Have you found my dearest daughter yet?" She asks, as if she just noticed you all there again.
Whitegaze will lean on the door frame, listening to another of Kale's poems. When he's finished, "Short story, help us find a way out, or try and adapt to this weird life. I'm going to go pick some flowers, if anyone wants to join me."
(As for the editor bar for colors and such, if you turn your phone sideways it usually pops up.)

"I have no doubts in her words," assured Al-Ashari the butler still just talking, without using any magic, "my only goal is to help to reunite heartbroken mother with her daughter. The Duchess is in such a grieve she can not speak, I hoped you could spare her feelings and tell me what do you know about the disappearance, so poor woman should not relive the horror, telling it to us."
Merric considers the Tarot card reading for a few minutes, then turns to his new companions for that they surely were. His instincts, honed by years of service in the Golden Hin, enforcing the lawful edicts of the Crystal Hin, pursuing the runaways, told him they spoke the truth, as they knew it.
"The Guild Member, you already have the book. Have you had time to read it yet? For the Seer, is that picture you showed us the Etchings, do you think? Or do we need to search the house more? And the swimming in eternity thing, that could be the lake. Perhaps we should search the shore, though carefully from what you've said about the lake. And the Avenger, maychance we should ask her Grace if we c'n search the graves, among them I mean, for clues about her daughter. That'll give us cover to search for one covered in white flowers, though they might be metaphorical flowers, perchance the design on the headstone, for instance. At some point we should go to this asylum or whatever it is you mentioned, Kale. That seems a likely choice for the 'place of madness'. As for the Donjon, well, I could find no clues in the tale you have told so mayhap that'll come clear later. Or,"he says with a wink at Faldo, "perhaps less murky considering what you've already told us."

The Duchess is in such a grieve she can not speak, I hoped you could spare her feelings and tell me what do you know about the disappearance, so poor woman should not relive the horror, telling it to us."
"Too true." The butler says, appearing to soften to you a bit. "Let's see..." he considers for a long moment. "The young miss was up in her room a lot, and I think in the attic some as well, though who knows why she would be up there. On the day of her disappearance she ran out saying something about having a meeting to go to. She never returned. I am sure the Mistress learned somehow that she was taken by some of the hoodlums she mentioned at that point."
You two go outside and find some lilies. Near at hand you also see some Rosemary. White gaze also knows where he saw all of the old flowers, so knows where to go to place them if he wishes. Let me know what you two do...
"Terrible day indeed," nodded Al-Ashari, "my heart is crying with the Duchess. May I ask you one more question? Have you ever heard of an Inn named Dancing Spider? Or any other "spider" for that matter?"
Whitegaze will gather both types of flower and lead Faldo to the other graves, "Let's see if this works, get ready for anything." And he'll attempt to place the flowers on the graves.
Merric goes to the Duchess. “My lady, may we have your permission to search the grounds, all over, for any clues about your daughter? Is there anything you can tell us about her, who she’s knowin or what’n she likes doin? Is she liking flowers, white ones perchance?”
Faldo follows Whitegaze as they move outside into the gloomy, rainy setting. Kale's vivid descriptions still didn't quite prepare him for just how dank and dark things look around here.
He assists Whitegaze in gathering some flowers and then curiously watches him carefully placing flowers on the graves wondering what might happen.
Kale opens his mouth to question the Duchess more about this Dancing Spider Inn, but she seems to be well-handled by the rest of the group. Much, much more concerningly, he sees that Whitegaze has once again wandered off, and this time taking one of the new fellows with him.
"I wonder if Faldo realizes what he's in for? he murmurs, thinking of Whitegaze's skill with weapons, and tendency to use them before his eyes. Turning to his boar, he tells the creature "Follow them out. Give them help if Whitegaze... well... pulls another Whitegaze, eh?"
(The large boar will join Faldo and Whitegaze at the graves outside. Kale is staying in with the group questioning the Duchess.)

"Bravo master bard!" Faldo laughs with applause. "Such exquisite skill to be able to turn such serious adventures into entertainment. Bravo indeed!"
Faldo pulls out his Alchemy Jug and calls for some wine, "is it too early to toast master Kale with some wine?"
Merric allowed himself a smile. He was not normally a four person, but the situation had thrown him.
“Indeed. As my fellow halfling has said. Well done! Perhaps we could see this evidence? Since we are stuck here, we might as well be of use.”
