that is very noble and brave of you but the town is devastated and there is no second rescue party, your mind is obviously strong but with a weak body and no back up i doubt the extra.... 2 days you have you would learn enough worth the risk of your life
i wait for his response i'll wait on the additional info on whether we take him regardless but i would want to hear the bulletpoints after whether he stays or not
quick recap of what you've learned so far to take back to the town in case something happens
"Yes, I can tell you what I know. But where are my manners? I am Leosin Erlanthar, traveling monk. I've been researching the cult for some time and predicted that Greenest would be their next target. The cult has been ranging far and wide on small raids to collect treasure. Greenest was the closest target to the camp, the richest and least well guarded. The plunder is stored in the cave at the back of the camp.
Being captive here I have heard several things. As you know, this is a camp of the Cult of the Dragon, but not everyone here is a full-fledged member of the cult. Many are new initiates working toward full acceptance, and many others are simple mercenaries, hired to flesh out the camp’s strength during raids or if it should come under attack. Others still are hunters who bring in antelope and other large game from the grasslands to feed the camp. The cultists and their allies eat most of it, but some is stored in the cave. The kobolds are here because their worshipful attitude toward dragons makes them easy for other high-ranking cultists to manipulate, but they are not well-liked or trusted by the other races. Prisoners are used for manual labor. In the past, a few have “converted” and become loyal members of the cult, but most die eventually of overwork and undernourishment. Then they are fed to the drakes or taken into the cave. The cave is off-limits to all but those who’ve been cleared by Mondath and Rezmir, which is only a handful of guards. It’s known around camp as “the nursery,” and it’s an open secret that Rezmir plans to hatch a clutch of dragon eggs there. I wouldn't try to gain entry by simply walking in, they will not recognize you as someone authorized to enter.
Rezmir is a half-black dragon that came to the area a few months ago, and she set up the camp. Mondath handles everyday operations. Mondath’s right hand is the half-blue dragon Cyanwrath and is seldom far from her side. He has a rigid sense of honor, but you don’t want to make him angry.
That's about all I have. I am trying to learn their next target and their ultimate plans, but no luck yet. My current plan is to try to get a high-ranking cultist to spill more guarded information."

Leosin ponders for a moment, then sighs. "I suppose my life is in danger here, and I can do little to stop them from taking it in my current state. Very well. I will come with you to Greenest. I will have to put my information gathering on hold, for now." He looks around. "I don't attract much attention, but guards do come by to check on me every so often. Taking me down without putting a dummy or something in my place would trigger an emergency situation rather quickly."
You peer over at the cave entrance from the top of the hill. It is well guarded. Several fully robed cultists stand guard outside, and though it is much darker just inside the mouth of it, you see multiple figures moving around there, too. On top of that, the traffic in and out of the cave is fairly steady, each individual being stopped and inspected before entrance and exit.

okay that cave is covered lets get out of here look at the monk and ask are we using your clothes or mine monk, unless you have a spare set Hordkhen
use the bedroll and blanket to make a dummy using the monks clothes if we feel not using his clothes would arouse suspicions otherwise using spare or my clothes
cast Pass without a Trace
alright lets go
Stealth +2 from me and +10 from spell 16 for when we leave
stealth for making the dummy (Preferred) 14 If not Survival 17
You stick to the walls of the camp, ducking behind bushes when you can. You see the tower where you left the rest of your party on guard. It's only been a few hours, but it felt like months. No one takes notice of you as you slink between crowds of humanoids and kobolds. Eventually, at the slow speed Leosin is able to move, you make it to the tower.

All right we have the monk these crazy ****ers are trying to hatch dragons we left a dummy with my clothes in place of the monk they will probably realize he is gone soon and then know which way we went because there will be no guards in this tower lets climb down we won't leave any tracks for the next _____ min (concentration on PwT 1hr) lets climb down and get the **** out.
wait to see what anyone has to say and will respond accordingly
if no one disagrees once we climb down i turn into an Elk and let the monk ride me since he is slow
he should be able to ride me straight out but my mastiff has a saddle which nobody rides him so i can have someone put that on me
also after the first person goes down i tie the rope to my mastiff and lower him down i explain the plan to him so he doesn't freak out
Delirious agrees to come down, but while on guard on the tower for a few hours at some point attempts to take the alarm horn discreetly. As if acting like he wanted to wear it around his neck and just "forgot" to take it off when he comes down from the tower.
Place' proposes a plan and the party proceeds to put it into practice. (for those of you that do not find alliterations funny, I am not sorry.) One by one everyone climbs out of the tower. Delirious takes the tower's alarm horn. No one notices that the tower is now unmanned, or if they do they don't care. Since you're in the kobold area of the camp, it seems the loose alliance they have with the rest of the cult doesn't include caring much about who is or isn't in the guard tower. That, and you're all under the effects of Pass without Trace.
You easily slink away from the bulk of the camp's forces, and are at the outskirts when you start to hear them go into an uproar. A wave of sound from the back of the camp to the front signifies that the camp is now on high alert, though probably too late, as Place' is now in the form of an elk with the escaped prisoner on his back, and no one manning the forward guard tower. You pick up the pace, still untrackable for a short span, enough to get you a few miles away from the camp entrance.
The only decision left is do you chance cutting through the rearguard, or do you take time to skirt around it to get back to Greenest?

And with that, Kod is begrudgingly convinced to go the long way round. You avoid the road since it leads through the rearguard and they would surely realize you had an escaped prisoner among you. Place' turns back into a human at one point, but you've traversed enough ground and thrown the trail off far enough by then that slowing down won't matter. So you think!

Yeah, you're good. You see Greenest in the distance. You make it back without incident. The monks that arrived with Leosin are ecstatic to see him, and he is relieved to see them, yet exhausted.
You inform Mayor Nighthill of your findings, he looks concerned about the information regarding the hatchery, but he gives you the promised 80 gold each. That night amidst celebrating the return of several missing villagers, Nighthill toasts to you all and regards you as heroes of Greenest. The revelry goes well into the night, and eventually, you find yourselves given free lodging and get a well-deserved long rest.
This is the end of Chapter 2: Raider's Camp. At this point, you were supposed to advance to level 3, but you are already level 3... because I awarded it a little early, apparently. We're going to get a little bit into the next chapter before I award another level, (which will still be early for level 4) especially since you had about 1 combat this entire chapter.
So for now, you receive 80 gold, a long rest, and can go ahead and RP any of the time that I glossed over from leaving the camp to getting to town to the next morning. I will post again starting Chapter 4 soon.
Delirious remains isolated from the celebration for most of the night, simply keeping to himself and drinking in the corner as he isn't comfortable in large crowds and generally doesn't like to socialize much. He does however make a few interactions. (I'll drop some sound bits and whichever apply can happen)
To the beautiful female elf: "You are lovely, we should mate, our litter would be extraordinary!"
To ramdom patron: "I heard this party was to honor the kings daughter losing her flower."
To another random patron: "If Someone is going to be murdered tonight... I hope it's you."
To the guards: "I heard there was supposed to be a sacrifice tonight, where do I sign up?"
on the trip I keep conversations moderate to form some bonds with my travelers nothing in particular maybe some strategies and so on, though one particular subject
After we report our findings i don't like the idea of them having a hatchery, there is definitely unfinished business at the camp but evacuation was the right move.
separate to everyone but addressed to Kod and Hordkhen You really seem to hate these cultists at first I thought it was towards any enemy like a warrior would but something about these cultists have you irked... is it a dragon thing?
Later at the party Plåcĕ is also somewhat isolated and noticed that just about everyone in the party is a little antisocial in one way or another, which means if we travel together we are all okay with not going to social events
Tar picks up an empty wine cask from a musty corner of the keep- with a wide eyed glare panning around to any of the staff watching that might hazard a suggestion out loud that he NOT do whatever it is that he felt like doing at that moment. Plodding out to the courtyard he nudges past a horse at the lashing post, belching a hard, "Ahhh, shaddap." at the clearly interrupted whinneying- scooping up an entire cask of now-lightly-oak-and-wine tinged water he walks back into the keep to plop down on a displaced hearthstone and guzzle water.
He sets the vessel down, doffs his cape and pauldrons and proceeds to dip his hands in the water and wipe down his frills and horns while replying to Place- "Yea, its... well like the kid said this morning... or last night, I forget... Its personal. They aren't just your everyday dirt-worshippers. I'm definitely on board for finding out more. I can't work to secure my clans prosperity here with these clod-hoppers begging to hand themselves and the world over to devils and tyrants. We're just a generation out of that- my grandfather used to face those damned things." he pauses while continuing to groom scales. "I know you want to try to save some, Lyria, but you'll need all the luck we can wish for you. These dragonworshippers will burn your children to ash right along side their own and salt their bread with it."

Kod drinks and eats but mostly paces around. He's ancy and uncomfortable in a party setting.
Delirious remains isolated from the celebration for most of the night, simply keeping to himself and drinking in the corner as he isn't comfortable in large crowds and generally doesn't like to socialize much. Lyria also takes to isolation, visibly stressed by the tensions and the recent events. Not feeling comfortable in any company.
Lyria prays for guidance for her mission and dealing with adversity in those she works with.
