Kei
As his friend moves into the doorway he follows close behind, weaving his hands in a fashion that causes a faint angelic humming. Keeping his hands behind Dwal's large head (of hair), he hopes that the obese man will not notice his gestures and believe the angelic sounds to be coming from Dwal himself. He adds his own voice at key moments to further the spectacle of an instrument of the gods entering the hovel.
The big man lifts a finger and a sudden breeze blows the remaining smoke out of his room and into the alley. He appears to be alone. He continues to cough deeply.
"And what could have burned my door down on a snowy night like tonight?" he asks. And then, in a more serious tone, "What do you want."
Still in hiding out in the alley, Gerrard looks at Boko and recalls her plan for scouting out this location…With an inaudible sigh, he continues to watch and listen to see what Dwal has planned here.

Dwal shugs his shoulders and enters the dwelling. Dwal will move the torch in his Mage Hand directly between himself and the human, and about 3 feet from the man's face.
"I take it ya been playin' possum fer a while now."Dwal tells the man. "So, tell me, what's tha interest in tha towns on tha coasts?"
Not sure if these people are defending their home or if there's something more sinister, Kei opts for a non lethal approach. Still standing behind Dwal he places his hand on his deck of cards and raises the other. Speaking arcane words he clenches his first just as he completes the mystic phrasing.

Initiative: Dwal: 25 Old woman: 20 (out of sight, exited through far open door) Gerrard: 19 (outside in alley) Kei: 15 Boko: 12 (outside in alley) Fat man: 5 (paralyzed, 30' in front of Dwal)
Dwal moves forward, towards the door, moving the torch to the door and inside of it. Dwal will look to the spot he believed the "baby" had been located, just in case it is something more than a baby.
Dwal walks through the piles of junk, past the area where he hears the baby earlier - there is no sign or sound of any baby here now. He passes the big man, who is gasping and drooling as he fights his arcane paralysis.
(Dwal is going to Dash past him to the open door beyond, correct?)
(correction) Seeing that the obese man is incapacitated for the moment Dwal will put down the torch just inside the door, pull rope out of his bag, and use Mage Hand to wrap it around the obese man and tie it off as tight as he can, tying the man up the best he can.
Dwal securely wraps the big man with his rope. He grunts and moans as he fights his arcane paralysis. The old woman does not reappear. Dwal sees a filthy, ancient hallway leading east and west beyond the open door. It is unlit.
Moving in cautiously, regretting he cannot close the non-existent door behind him, Gerrard passes by the bound man saying, "If you turn out not to be evil Kuo-Toa cultists, we'll apologize later," and moves toward the open ancient door, pulling his weapons as he goes and lighting the way with his Moon-Touched rapier.

Boko darts inside and moves a bit closer to the group. She looks at Gerard and says, "you have a short caller outside, asking by name. Neglected to attack us. What's going on here, where is everyone?"
She gets closer to the large man and readies an attack with the staff.
"That one may be a mage."Dwal says and points to the bound obese man. Again Dwal uses Mage Hand to pick up the torch and move around the interior of the door, looking left then right to see if there are any surprises waiting there. If not Dwal will move the torch 30 ft. inside the next room and survey what is inside.
Calling over his shoulder, Gerrard asks, “Master Fenwader, is that you?” in response to Boko’s statement, though he keeps his eyes on the dwarf headed deeper into this unknown building and his ally guarding the bound obese man.

The old woman reconsiders her sneak attack and races toward the back exit. (Dwal may get an opportunity attack if he wishes.)
Kei may act next; he is right behind Dwal. The big man is maybe 30 feet away from you (25' from Dwal.)
