"How many does "Alot of'em" cover precisely?" Qivys asks sharply. "Did we do a count of the numbers we saw? How many were casters? You lot are all fer turnin' tail an' runnin' when we got as much as nothin' ta go on. Wars an' strategies are wage on facts an' reconnaissance not here to an' maybe this much. Tha more we learn tha greater tha chance fer success an' tha less lives lost on our side. I spent most my life fightin' an' seein' folks die around me cause someone desired tha comfort of their bed rather than doin' their job."
"Mistress Boko, if you would like to transform and try and sneak in to verify if our ally has been taken to the prison cells, I would wait for you, though I must urge the utmost caution," says Gerrard, adding, "Captain Fenwader, Master Kei, if you would like to get our ship out and ready some distance away from here and hidden from the sahuagin prying eyes, I think that would be very helpful."
"I will stay here for a few more minutes with Master Qivys and our new friends while we learn as much as possible of the strength and configuration of the enemy units while Mistress Boko scouts if she so desires," he says. Thinking a moment longer, Gerrard concludes, "If our friend is imprisoned and we have a reasonable chance of saving him, I will follow Mistress Boko back to the cells and do my best to free him. If not, I think we have no choice but to go to the boat and head back home."

Peri eyes Gerrard, hoping he'll change his mind, before shaking his head with a rueful grin. "Must be why all the noblemen I've ever run across before were right bastards. All the good ones get themselves killed bein' heroes and only the weasels are left behind." He offers Gerrard his hand. "We'll be waitin' a half-mile past the wrecked boat. I'll hold off til the sky starts lightenin up, but we need to be outta sight of any patrols before the sun comes up. I hope you're all aboard before we leave."
He gives Boko a nod of respect. "Be careful in there; I'm startin' to like you. Here, you'll get more use of 'em than I will -- least I hope so." He hands her the two potions given to them by the poohbahs. ((One Invisibility and one Gaseous form))
He looks at Qivys before walking away. "I never claimed to be either a soldier or a hero. I'm fool enough to sneak into a place not knowin' what we'll be facin', but not enough to do it again knowin' what's in there." He slips quietly back into the marsh, headed toward the wrecked boat.
”Take my potion of gaseous form too, Boko. If you can get in—maybe through the cracks up top you were talking about using that gaseous form potion—and find him, having two extra potions of gaseous form means you should be able to escape with him, right? I’ll keep the invisibility potion in case I need to come to the rescue in a more mundane fashion,” says Gerrard, kicking himself that he had forgotten some of their magical assets.

(We looked at the door already, right, and found that it was too small to allow a small bug inside to scout? Or am I misremembering?)
(Sorry - forgot to respond to this one. You are remembering correctly in the sense that there are no currently-open gaps or openings in the doors at the end of the causeway into the top level. The surface of the doors is featureless, with no visible handles, except for a rectangular aperture six inches wide by four inches high cut in the center of the left-hand door, about six feet above ground level. A flat metal plate covers this aperture from the inside. The aperture is currently closed - presumably, the metal plate slides open to form a 4x6" peephole to converse through.)
(Can she bring a potion to give to a prisoner and give the potion to the prisoner to allow him to escape?)
(Depends on your strategy. I believe any belongings merge with your Wild Shape form if you can't externally equip it. So if your new wild shape form can carry the potion externally, that works. Otherwise, you would have to transform back to gain access to your inventory. At least that's my interpretation of that feature. Does anyone have a different take on it?)
Peri finds nothing but rotten rock and bird detritus atop this lifeless crag surrounded by the cold boom of the unrelenting ocean. There may theoretically be air shafts in the countless crags and crevices of this crusty slab, but they would be too small for all but the tiniest creatures to traverse, if they could ever even find them.
He returns to the party. Any remaining invisibility only has a few minutes left.

Boko accepts the three potions. “I assume that I will not need the other two. They will only be used if I find him. Thank you. Give me no more than 20 minutes. This will be fast. And if you have any blessing to confer, I would welcome them.”
She swims to the entrance of the causeway and trots up it to the door, consuming the potion if she sees any sign of anyone living. If it appears there are guards with eyes on the entrance to the causeway she will consume the potion earlier. Goal is to get close quick and unseen, not wasting time but not being seen. She then finds the gap between the door and the frame and moves inside along the wall along the floor. She assumes no one inside will take her for more than some fog or their eyes playing tricks on them. She then follows the hallways in a fairly precise and systematic manner, looking for any sign of a prisoner, commotion, anything.
"Now that's the smartest thing you've said so far" he shoots back at Gerrards notion of readying their getaway. He watches the exchange of magical elixirs (that he too had forgotten) as he readies himself for finally leaving this wretched place.
"Finally, someone who appreciates our genius Peri" he grins wryly at the halfling in response to what he interprets as a compliment from Boko. "To ensure your swift getaway let me give you this" he fishes a card from his pouch and hands it to the druid. The moment she looks at its face it begins to dissolve. With a final flash the card is gone but Boko is left with a sense of good fortune.
Once he's sure Boko is underwater he turns to find Peri already en route to the way point. He takes off after him.
"Evil chooses evil" is all Qivys says as the two depart.
Qivys says little else, keeping to his own thoughts. He waits for Boko's return and tries to keep an eye out for any patrols or other dangers while waiting.
Boko swims through the black water to the edge of the rocky causeway. Climbing up upon the rocks, she imbibes her first potion of gaseous form. Her body becomes a misty cloud. She easily finds a gap to pour herself inside.
Within, she finds a bare, dry, spartan room. Ahead, a short corridor off the room ends in a closed bronze gate. To her left, a single stone bench runs along the east wall. To her right on the opposite wall hangs a large metal gong; a short metal bar leans against the wall below it.
There are nine sahuagin in the room. They talk and laugh and pay no attention to the doors, nor the misty cloud which has now entered the room. One of the sahuagin has a small fire going – it seems to be using the flame and a tool to mend a spear point. (Does Boko have any means of darkvision?)
The large double stone doors to the causeway have a pair of large metal bars to lock them, but the doors are currently unlocked.
The bronze gate at the southern end of the chamber is closed and down. It is presumably raised and lowered by means of a chain and pulley mechanism somewhere in the next room.
(Via chat, retconning that Boko wikdshaped into a giant spider before consuming potion.)
The mist moves slowly forward to the next door, as if caught in a draft. It finds the crack and slips underneath. Spider blindsight is 10 feet and darkvision is 60.
Bokospidergas easily seeps through the bronze gate.
Another bare, spartan room. It has a stone bench along the south wall that continues around the angle to the west wall. A chain-and-pulley mechanism is mounted on the north wall, next to the exit to the north. Two sahuagin stand guard in this room on either side of the gate, out of sight from the first room.
The room is shrouded in darkness. Two exits lead east and west, another leads south.
Boko, assuming she doesn’t see any tracks that are obvious or suggestive that something came through here, or blood, or hear anything like an interrogation, goes into the nearest hallway (the one to the right/east).
There is neither blood, nor commotion, nor interrogation. Everything seems orderly and subdued.
She begins a circuitous path down a long stone hallway, 10 feet wide and 15 feet high. It looks like it is still under construction, as many areas of the floor are unfinished and piles of construction materials are heaped here and there.
Two rooms open east and west. The doors are open. Peering into the first, Boko sees that dark green tiles cover the walls and floor of this room. Many lidless coffers rest against the walls. It seems unoccupied, at least from this angle.
This unfinished area to the west seems intended for use as a barracks, as far as you can tell. Many lidless coffers are arranged around the walls of the room. Propped against the north wall are dozens of stone-working tools.
Bokomist moves inside to the west just enough to peek around the corner and confirm no one is inside. Then no matter what she finds, she proceeds down the hallway south toward the end, still alert. Moving as fast as her little mist legs can carry her.
"Evil chooses evil" is all Qivys says as the two depart.
Qivys says little else, keeping to his own thoughts. He waits for Boko's return and tries to keep an eye out for any patrols or other dangers while waiting.
Gerrard:
"Don't be too hard on them, Master Qivys," says Gerrard quietly as he hides with the dwarf under the causeway, "Not everyone values their honor as highly as we. If we fail here, at least they will take what we have already learned back to the council. I'm hoping Tom made good his escape and will wander into town at some point with a harrowing tale, but if he has been captured by the Sahuagin, I will do my part to see him saved--I haven't been adventuring long, but I have lost too many innocent souls along the way already."
Gerrard falls silent again, lost in thought about the crew of the Soul of Winter, hoping that those on whose ship his friends sail are not always going to be cursed so...
