The man jerks and growls like a wild animal, as he is suspended 20 feet off the ground. He takes no actions (and, according to this, is allowed no further saves for the next ten minutes.)
Everyone may act. (He is unable to attack or escape. If you have sufficient ranged means to deliver consistent damage, you may opt to end his existence.)
While its deathly regenerative abilities kick back in after a brief pause, it is no match for the speed and quantity of arrows Gerrard sinks into the undead man. He is soon motionless, inert, a floating pincushion of deadly arrows.
Bokolar bear takes a circuit of the surrounding terrain to ensure there’s nothing else that wants to chomp on them. Assuming nothing, she returns and shifts back.

Peri:
Peri scans the trees the undead things had been hiding in, thinking the person they'd been pursuing might have gone up ahead of them. "Anybody out there? We're friendly, except to dead things. Don't mind the bear -- she's with us."

Kei
Gerrards arrows whizz through the shimmering aura surrounding his undead captive. In short order the undead is re-dead. "Well there goes another potential source of information on Bela." He gripes as he lowers the corpse to the ground. "At least it wasn't able to run off and raise the alarm for more creeps" he says in a self-righteous manner. He approaches the old man's body and searches ut for anything of interest.
”I suppose I could have stopped shooting, but these undead have an annoying habit of shrugging off wounds and trying to bite our heads off,” says Gerrard as he pulls out his blades and beheads the creature, just in case.
Gerrard recovers what arrows he can as the others look around.

Qivys uses Fury's Edge to decapitate the other body. "Not sure how this works." he says. "Do we need ta burn these bodies so they don't come back around?" he asks.
Kei finds nothing of interest on the old man – just a large, rotten tooth and a silver piece in one pocket. Both now-headless figures appear to be inanimate and not regenerating.
Peri spots something that Boko missed – an armored shoulder behind a thorny bush. Realizing that he has been spotted, an armored half-elven man with a drawn longsword leans out from behind. "Identify yourself," he commands. Oddly, there are no apparent footprints leading to where he hides.

Gerrard:
”I am Gerrard Feldren, and these are my companions, Mistress Boko, Master Fenwader, Master Qivys, and Master Kei. We come seeking the help of the elves in tracking down a vampire named Bela who has kidnapped some children from Saltmarsh,” responds Gerrard.
“As you can see, we are no friends to the undead here. And who might you be?” he adds with genuine interest.

"Show me your hands," he says, with a flat tone. He demonstrates by sheathing his sword, and then putting his hands in front of himself, palms upward.
"My name is Kevros," he adds. He is obviously badly wounded, drenched with blood, and barely able to stand. He fishes around for something in his filthy pack.
He pockets the single silver coin and approaches Peri. "I know it's hard for someone trained to use only their fists to solve problems, but next time you see a big oaf just floating in the air scrambling to find something to hold on to you can be pretty sure he's not flying away". He attempts to educate the little monk in a most condescending tone. It seems as though Peri wasn't listening though as he spots the bloodied half-elf.
Once Gerrard has introduced the whole family Kei sends him a silent message.

"Must you blurt out all our names and our plans in full? You have no idea who this is!"
"Greetings, Keveros. I take it the bloody trail that the undead were following belongs to you?" offers Gerrard, hands empty and mimicking the half-elf's stance.
He does appear to mutter something off to the side...

"Well, he did ask somewhat nicely. I was hoping he might know of the elves or--even better--the lair of Bela."

"Those two abominations wounded me gravely, I fear. Their teeth draw one's soul clean out of its mortal shell, it seems. These are not ordinary wounds." He gently touches his mangled, bloodied side.
"But we must act. The Citadel of Blood has reappeared. There is an event. Tonight, if the legends are correct and my observations are true. We must stop them. But I fear I am in no shape..."
Boko offers a finger for a drop of holy water to show she is not undead. She asks Kevros if he lives with the elves in the forest, or is from elsewhere. She says they are looking for allies to have a chance against a fortress of undead.
"The Citadel of Blood?" Peri shares an exasperated look with Kei. "Sure, why not? Gotta fill the time between unleashin' eldritch horrors of the deep and overthrowin' an evil kingdom with somethin'. Might as well stop a vampire cult's ritual. For a while I was worried you all were going to get me killed, but now I'm thinkin' that might not have been the worst possible outcome. If I get undeaded I'm gonna be so mad..."
