Dwal may not know a thing about boats, but he does know carpentry. And there seems to be an odd bit of missing floorspace, and some odd carpentry work, at the stern of the vessel, aft of the two private cabins off the cargo hold.
"What have you found brother? I searched these cabins at the get go. I'll be a halflings beard if you've come up with something"he storms towards the sound of his fellow dwarf.
Dwal and Qivys study the two cabins on the hold level. Both are some eight feet shorter than the corresponding cabins on the main deck. In addition, the aft walls look like interior bulkheads, not hull. (OOC: Tell me which cabin you'd like to examine further, and roll a perception or investigation check - your choice.)
The lizardfolk continue to roughly search the cargo and the crew quarters. You can hear more splintering as one is prying into the bulkhead dividing the cargo hold and the crew quarters.
Dwal indeed finds a hidden panel, with no signs of locks or traps. Gingerly opening it, he discovers a secret prison cell - a dark, cramped area only four feet wide at most, squeezed in between the ship’s stern and the adjacent cabin. It appears to be a holding cell. A slim humanoid figure cowers in the far corner, chained to the hull.

Qivys
"Well I'll be the hairy left toe of an elf! Dwal my good man you're smarter than you look. I'll search the room next door"he shakes his head in disbelief as Dwal opens the secret door. He moves into the adjoining room (through the interior door if I'm reading the plans correctly) and begins feeling the back wall for the secret panel.
Qivys finds an identical secret panel in the adjacent cabin. Checking for traps and finding none, he opens it to find a very similar cramped compartment, only four feet wide at the widest. It contains eight large, irregularly shaped bundles wrapped in oilskin and bound with light rope. These are piled at random on the deck, as though thrown in casually from the doorway.
"Fahf nnn'drnog leads l' yog!" shouts the lizardfolk in the hold to its companion.
"This wall leads outside!"
It has managed to chop a hole clear through the hull in the cargo hold. It's above the waterline, but not by much. Saltwater splashes into the hold with each incoming wave.
Gerrard keeps following the Lizardfolk he initially shadowed to make sure no significant damage is done to the ship.
The lizardfolk Gerrard was following has finished ransacking the main deck, and has just joined the others in the hold.
Gerrard:
Coming down into the hold as he follows one of the lizardmen, Gerrard is just in time to see one of the other lizardmen knock a hole in the side of the ship. "Fávitinn þinn! Þú munt drukkna okkur öll!" he shouts at the offending lizardman. To his companions, he shouts, "And who was watching this one? He's knocked a hole in the side of the ship!" Turning back to the lizardmen, he commands, "Farðu aftur í herbergið þitt áður en þú sökk skipið og farminn með það!!"

"Go back to your room before you sink the ship and your cargo with it!"

The humanoid chained to the hull appears to be an Elf of some kind, although its clothing is quite foreign-looking. His chains are secured with a small padlock.
He responds to Dwal, "Hver ertu? Ég skil það ekki" in a language Dwal does not understand.
"Who are you? I don't understand."
But Gerrard does. It's Elven. He overhears from the hold.
The lizardfolk, meanwhile, completely ignore Gerrard. But they are curious about what Qivys and Dwal have discovered in the cabins. They begin to gather behind the party.
If the lizardfolk are at least no longer trying to sink the ship (intentionally or unintentionally), Gerrard will ignore them for now and call up top, "Captain Fenwader! You'd better get some lumber and tools down here--one of the lizardfolk has knocked a hole in the hull!"
(Of course, if they still appear to be trying to sink the ship, he will act differently and enforce his threat).
Hearing a soft elven voice come from the stern of the ship, he says to himself softly, "Now who could that be?" His primary focus, however, is on the on the lizardfolk, as everyone else seems to be too distracted to keep an eye on their dangerous guests.

The lizardfolk do not appear to be trying to sink the ship. In fact they've completely stopped their activities. Pointing over your shoulders at the eight large bundles Qivys has just discovered, one exclaims, in Common:
Peri stomps down the stairs to the hold, just about fed up with these lizardfolk. Seeing the hole, and the fact that it isn't an immediate threat, he will stay as far forward in the hold as he can while still keeping all 3 of them in sight.
The lizardfolk announce, in Draconic, "C' mgep mgepmgah'n'ghft ah'n'ghaorr. Hai c' tharanak l' c' bugagl Iiahe mgepathg. C' l' ilyaa ah ahagl llll n'ghftyar"
"We have found the armaments. Now deliver us to our destination, as agreed. We expect to be there by night."
A little seawater sloshes into the cargo hold with each incoming wave, pooling in the hold and draining into the bilge. It is mid-morning. There is still an hour or two of work to do on the sails before they will be functional.
"Ég er mjög þyrstur" says the chained elf, in Elvish.
"Well that's settled" Dwal says. "I'm not too inclined to give these skaleys what they want. They ain't no friend to man nor beast and war is in their blood, more than most. But" he pauses, "I'll abide by what the group says about it."
Looking to the hole in the ship causing it to slowly sink, Gerrard gestures to the inflowing seawater and asks Peri, “Do you have this handled, Captain?”
Ignoring the Lizardfolk as they have ignored him, Gerrard moves towards the sound of the soft elven voice and pulls out his water skin, offering a drink to the prisoner when he arrives, saying, “Ole rauhassa ja sammuta jano.”
Elvish:
“Be at peace and quench your thirst.”
