Yes, but what Moxo tells the rest of the party is that “DeliciousDoesn’tDoThemJustice!NobodyElseGets,ISawThemFirst!Yummmmm!” and he grabs up a punch and puts in his pockets! Practical joker he can be at times...
A couple of branching dead-end paths, and the main path down towards where you were captured.
You pass the first couple of guard rooms where the rescue party met the enemy last time. There is noone there, the torches are burned out, the bodies of the guards are still there (though you cannot tell at a glance if it's the same number or equipment on bodies).
The main path ahead leads past the cave with the bats into the big dining room where the rescue party fought a heavy battle.
Moxo and Gara successfully hit the corpses. The foul smelling mush that was sent flying indicates that these are in fact real corpses, they have been dead for quite some time (quite likely the same guards that were killed on the way into the mine 3 weeks earlier), and the smell is almost unbearable.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
„Moxo, wait till we leave, better not to weight us down before battle“ Gara whispers, before moving on to the dinning hall. (Are the bats still there?)
Moxo will groan anxiously but follow Gara. But only after a quick glance at each corpse for weapons, at least. Moxo wouldn't mind grabbing a nice sword or such...

The bats are present, but only the smaller specimens. They do not react to you passage. You arrvie to the large room, also with no enemies and a few corpses. You remember from your last visit, that the left door leads to the kitchen, and the right door to cages with animals. The middle road leads to the staircase down to the prison cells and the ornate door.
To Gara, "You mentioned that that door," Serit gestures to the right door, "contained beasts. We should see if any survived though I highly doubt it. From there we should check the kitchen area to be sure we clear everywhere before heading downstairs." The Bugbear moves to the right door and slowly goes in.
Serit turns to his companions, "We could either make their meager lives into meat or release them. I feel with those hyenas we are collecting a menagerie but I leave their fates to you."

Moxo works out that the these rocks are rocks and that they taste horrible.

Gara will pocket a rock for later.

(Not able to really visualize the path)
Serit does not spend much time on the rocky area but delves slowly in to the heart of the cavernous lair.

“DeadDeadOrActingDead?” Moxo wonders and pelts each body with a stone from his sling.

((Can roll more of needed, and damage if needed. But basically trying to hit each from distance before inspecting / looting bodies)
Yes, just looking for a sample at the moment.
Also i would help Moxo checking the corpses, shooting them with Magic Stone.

Smell or no smell, these corpses would be looted. We've a whole village to arm up, not to mention my own greed!

Gara carefully follows Serit.

Snakes: 1, 6, 4
Wolves: 2, 2, 6
Bears: 6, 5
(Great rolls!) All animals are alive.
2 snakes are surprisingly healthy, one is weak, but generally OK.
The wolves are in various states of starvation, with the worst affected one not looking very good.
Bears are both starved, one badly starved.
Serit turns to his companions, "We could either make their meager lives into meat or release them. I feel with those hyenas we are collecting a menagerie but I leave their fates to you."
