"We have no dry rations to sell you but you may have your fill of food and drink as long as you are helping," Gupry bows. He points to a wooden home at the base of the trees, lower to the ground than the others. "You also may rest here."
He then points toward one of the closer mountains to the village. "We have seen many peryton leave for the hunt from those ledges. There surely must be a nest near there," he says.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"That you for your willingness to share, Gupry," Abraxas says. "And thank you for the base of operations. Garu? Harmony? What do you think? Shall we start up?' Abraxas says. He moves toward the closest mountain, watching for movement in the sky and against the side of the mountain: 14 (Perception)
"Thank you very much for the food, drink, and shelter." Harmony had said back to Gubry, bowing as she smiled. Then she heard Abraxas and Garu, nodding back. "Yeah, let's get going then." she had said back to them, ready to go.
"It is no problem. We appreciate your willingness to help," Gupry says. "Oh! If you would like some assistance, we do have a visitor to the village that is staying with us as well."
The flora of the mountainside is dense nearer the village, but clears out as you reach the base of the cliffs. The rocky landscape provides many handholds, but the climb near the ground looks difficult. A wider ledge lines the cliffside forty feet high, and looks to provide an easier path further above.
"Yes, we would be happy to meet your visitor," Abraxas says. "And I should have thought of this earlier," he says to Garu and Harmony, "But I don't have rope or other climbing gear. Do either of you?"
Harmony had heard Gupry, nodding back as she smiled. "A visitor? Oh yes, we could definitely use the extra help if they would be willing to help us." she then said back to him, wondering what they're like. Then she heard Abraxas and Garu, shaking her head. "I don't have any rope or pitons as well." Harmony had said back to them both.
"They are staying in the same abode. We have limited lodging for those that prefer the ground,"Gupry explains. "I do not know if they have returned from their hunt, but they have are quite talented with their weapons and the wilderness."
Harmony had heard Gupry, surprised and now feeling nervous. "Oh, we should see if this visitor would have any sort of climbing gear on them then." she told the others, really hoping that the person has climbing gear. Otherwise, this will make the whole journey a lot more difficult for them than she had expected.
"Yes, Harmony, I think you're right," Abraxas says. He starts walking toward their shelter and the visitor there. Along the way, he'll make mental notes of anyplace in town that might sell climbing gear, though he thinks it seems unlikely.
The town is rural and residential; nothing that Abraxas sees along the way looks remotely like a shop, and all of the folk within the settlement are Ranik. If the froglike creatures are as gifted at climbing as Gupry indicated, it seems there is little here in the way of climbing gear.
The building you have been pointed to as a place to rest is one of few structures in the Ranik village that sits on ground level. The structure looks larger on the inside, separated into four rooms with two beds in each, with a lounge area connecting all four. It is occupied when you arrive, as two familiar faces inhabit the lounge: Aisha, and her panther, T'savi.
Harmony was extremely surprised and so happy to see Aisha and Tsavi as she grinned. "Aisha, Tsavi! What are you doing here? It's so good to see you again! How have you been and why are you here?" she then said back, wanting to know and just so glad to see a friend again.
Aisha was still wearing her familiar, and somewhat revealing attire, though it was decent enough that no one could complain if she were out in public. She had been whittling away at some branch that she intended to fashion into an arrow. it looked like she already had a small pile of four or five next to her. Tsavi's head had already swiveled and taken note of the group, while it took Aisha herself another long moment, or rather until one of them started speaking, her ear flicked first, followed by her head as it took a moment to gain recognition of who's voices they were, though she didn't jump for any degree of joy upon seeing familiar faces - Though she did smile that toothy smile, her feminine canines peeking over her bottom lip. Ah, therre you arre. It seems the mice have been at play while the cat was away~ her tone was neutral even as she delivered the light play on words.
Unfortunately this one does nyot have a 'good' story to tell, rather anotherr dire omen. After you all left, Aisha did this and that, and a few other things, before having a vision of her own. This one does nyot know if you all experienced similar, as was the usual back then. Howeverr... *sigh* After that, Aisha sought you out but you had alrready left. So asking around the order, Aisha discovered you were to be in this area or.. heading there, and we both know this kittens feet are a bit lighter than yours so, Aisha turned tail to here in hopes of catching you. Aisha has missed you all, a little~ she says, teasingly, a bit more lighthearted in tone before it turns back to serious.
Aisha saw a massive statue of an orc, that suddenly rips apart into ar..arca..Magical energy. From this energy she saw a very large wolf appear, larger than anything that she has ever seen before. The wolf roared, and the world split in half.... And that is why Aisha is here.
"It sounds like we need to try and help the gods more directly," Abraxas says. "I'm just not sure how to do that. Should we complete this task and then try to head toward the battle we've seen in vision? I'm just not sure where it is taking place."

Abraxas says, "I suggest we visit our shelter here first. But, Gupry, do you think we will need climbing gear? Did your warrior take any with them?"
Death on the Water and Baldur's Gate Bodyguard
"I'm afraid we have no such thing. We are naturally gifted climbers," Gupry answers, looking slightly sheepish.
