With a grim shake of her head she moves out of the house, making sure the others get the half-orc out as well, if they have not done so already.
Lia comes out of the building, soot smearing her face, the black cloth of her armor and clothes masking much of the same there. Coughing she moves towards the people with the buckets. "Nothing is left, alive or undead inside of there." She says, best get that fire out before it spreads." She would then lend a hand to work at pouring the buckets onto the blaze.
Fizzwick is hesitant to leave Tsendur too far behind, but seeing that he is in bigger, stronger hands the gnome dashes for the fresh air outdoors before the whole place comes down or he suffocates from the smoke.
(Dash Action if necessary to get outside and 10ft or more away from the building.)
(ooc: Let's move forward without the structured rounds. Everyone is outside the building now. There are a couple more dice rolls I need to do that I will get to later. )
Fizzwick flops onto his back on the ground once safely away from the building, coughing a little after breathing in smoke. "That was a bit more exciting than putting on my usual show. I think I'll keep my day job."cough, cough"Tsendur you ok?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"I've got some burns that I will need to bandage, my house is burning down, and I've been robbed." Tsendur couch's out, and then chuckles. "Other than that, I'm good. Fizzwick, I'm glad you are here. Hopefully I will get to see your show one of these days. Are these your friends?"

Aldwin spends the first minute or so coughing a trying to catch his breath. When his fit is done he rights himself and waves over to the group and the homeowner. "I'm a doctor, a winded doctor but I can help bandage up those injured."
"Robbed yes," Tsendur says to Fizzwick, "and not by you. Ha ha." Looking over at Aldwin, Tsendur says "Yes, I would really appreciate if you could help me with these burns." Tsendur takes the box that Fizzwick handed him. He opens it, and it is empty. "I can't believe she stole this. Even though I saw it removed, I wanted to believe it was somehow still in here." Tsendur pauses for a moment. "This small box contained an ornament with massive magical power. It contained the the Clasp of Vergren. As legend has it, The Clasp of Vergren belonged to Mesos and was stolen and hidden by Enkili as a prank. In retaliation, Mesos struck Enkili powerless, severing their connection to the worship of mortals in a fit of anger, which was believed by some to be the final straw that prompted the gods to rise up against their parents before the Titans decided to destroy them."
The villagers have restarted the bucket brigade, and the fire is under control. The sun set a few minutes ago.
"There's not much I can do here. I need some food, and rest. Let’s go to the local Inn, The Crossed Wands, for some food and drink. My treat, for you Fizzwick, and your friends.”
Wiping a sooty hand over her forehead Lia walks over to where the half-orc and others are talking. "Fire seems under control now." She says, streaks of soot down her face from the water she was using to help put out much of the fire. Her white hair is filled with black streaks as well. She takes a long pull from her waterskin, then puts it back into her pack. "I could use a place to sit down, then I think I need a bath." She informs the group, nodding to the half-orc. "Name's Lia..." She says to the group. "Not sure I was able to introduce myself earlier."
"Lia," Gimdrak responds, "It's nice to meet you. I'm Gimdrak. Thank you for helping with everything." Then, he looks to the rest of the group and says, "All of you handled yourselves well. I'm honored to have fought alongside you." Then, resting his gaze on Tsendur, "And I appreciate your hospitality. Some food, a bath, and a bed to sleep on would be welcomed. It would also probably do us all some good to get some rest before we figure out what, if anything, ought to be done next about the stolen property."
(This is a good point to distribute some experience points. For defeating the 6 Scorch Zombies you receive 50*6=300 XP. For recovering Tsendur alive with his spell book you receive 200 XP. That makes 500/6=83 XP each. )
Tsendur takes a longer route to the Inn. "Come with me." Tsendur says to his new friends. He thanks every individual for their help putting out the fire, saying a few sincere words and giving them a firm hand shake. "Thank you, you're work is much appreciated, thank you for sacrificing your time to save a neighbors home..." He goes south down the entire 600 feet of the bucket line to the river, and then follows the river path east to the town. It's a crisp winter night. The sky is clear. The sound and smell of the clean slow moving river fill the senses. Then the party arrives. The inn is a large half-timbered building, with a slate roof.
"Ahh, the little gem of Durgan’s Rest: The Crossed Wands. They have several small rooms with beds and woolen mattresses. The inn once belonged to a wizard, and a small fire elemental still dwells in the hearth." Tsendur explains.
A young half-orc woman hostess seats them at a table, and hands them menus. "Remember, my treat." Tsendur says, and orders the most expensive item on the menu, the Roasted Hare with Saffron and Onion, with a Glass of Cider. "and a gallon of your finest ale for the table."
Boiled Mutton and Rye Bread, Tankard of Cider (11 cp)
Roasted Phoenix and Poached Eggs, Glass of Rum (4 sp)
Roasted Hare with Saffron and Onion, Glass of Cider (4 sp)
Boiled Eggs and Wheat Bread, Tankard of Mead (9 cp)
"I'll take the Roasted Phoenix and Poached Eggs, with a Glass of Rum." Lia says as she takes in the menu. "Need the rum to help settle down after the fire." She explains as she finishes her order. She has wiped the worst of the soot away now, but would still smell of smoke.
"Well now, if the food is paid for I shall have...the mutton and cider with extra cider. My throat is quite parched from all that smoke and something that doesnt burn normally without a raw throat should fair nicely."
"Tsendur, thank you, again, for this hospitality. I will also have the roasted hare with saffron and onion, and a glass of cider," Gimdrak says in such a way so as to indicate that he's not used to accepting the generosity of others.

"Robbed? OH! Sorry!" Fizzwick brings the wizard's reliquary over to him. "I almost forgot."
OOC I'm sure that's not what he meant, but... ;)
Lia would be helping to first put out the fire before going to check in with the strangers that went into the flaming building with her.

(Yes, just go back into the character, to the home screen and select XP instead of Milestone.)
