Helena In the night sky, you fail to spot most of the scraps as they’re blown away by the wind. You were unable to save many of them and were left with almost nothing. From the pieces you could save, you realized that it was a wanted poster and that the person whose image was shredded had a little black on their face.
Harq Brynn seems very solemn as she speaks. “Mulke told me it had exploded in the lower decks. He had said, and I quote, ‘Some moron dropped his torch next to a keg of gunpowder’ when the waves struck the ship. It apparently sank right after they had left a harbor, and he and some others swam all the way back, but the others drowned.” She leans forward, almost as if she thinks you’re hiding something. “You knew Mulke.” She sizes you up. “And you don’t seem the type to be intimidated by his kind into answering favorably. Would you say he’s a good man?”
After a good long silence, Harq leans over, shoots the glass the captain had set in front of him, as well as the one that had been set in front of Lia, he looks up to the captain and says "Sorry what? oh.. right... Mulke. I've got a lot to process at the moment... Leto... he... was like a father to me, and most of the crew. Few others could command such loyalty." The last line said with a sigh.
As if a thought occurs to him, he sits up a bit straighter and looks to the captain to say "Cap'n... Something doesn't feel right about the Caladan. I'ma be straight with you here, and I hope you'll be the same with me. If there was something ****ed about the way the Caladan went down I mean to find out." Clenching a fist, continuing "As for Mulke... Well... You know our trade. We're all kinda shit bags in our own ways, yours truly included of course." Harq says with a slight grin. "Mulke on the other hand... He's kind of a shit bag among shit bags. There's also word around the crew that the Sea Lady is weak in the seas the days..." he lets the last bit hang to bit to see how the captain responds.
Brodan returns below deck since there is little else for him to do on the ship since he has no idea about the workings of a ship beyond the fact it travels across water. "Someone let me know when we reach land or ye need me for a fight."
Lia As Harq is talking, you get a brief smile of appreciation from the captain.
Harq The captain stares daggers at you, not even a moment after her smile at Lia. “You got them to tell you already? I’ve known for a while, though I’m not sure who’s planning my downfall. Any ideas?”
"Heh." Harq replies. "People seem to trust me. Though I said nothing of your downfall. You seem like a worthy captain, but my full loyalty you've not yet earned. Share with me your thoughts on the Caladan, as well as your crew here, and we'll see."he further adds "Ah... and I am curious to learn more of our new feathered employer a bit. But first, please, a drink, and a short moment of remembrance to my first family at sea." as he holds out his glass for a refill, and lets a good minute pass of silence before draining his glass.
Harq and Lia Brynn’s stare dissolves into a coy smile. “Fair enough. My thoughts on the Caladan? Leto was a capable man. Capable of disguising his cunning, that is. A penny wouldn’t drop on any deck without him knowing. I knew him personally.” Her eyes are unable to hide her sadness. “Back then, he enjoyed ending great successes with a night of drinking. It’s the only time an accident could have a chance of happening.”
When you mention Skarhys, you see her go back to her calm demeanor. “The Sea Lady’s a difficult one to take control of. Sometimes, people need help. And sometimes, others offer help.” A man knocks on the door and peeks his head in for an instant. Brynn looks to you two and says, “Your cabins are ready. You can go ahead and see them if you don’t have any more questions.”
After Kronk kills a couple of sea birds, he doesn't know, or care, what sort they are, takes them to the ships galley, roasts and eats them, bones and all of course. As he is doing that he will chat up the cook about the ship and its crew. (Kronk is deceptive in that he appears much, much stupider than he really is)

Panic is a mechanism that strengthens the gene pool.
Nodding, Harq says "I'll need to see what else I can learn. Meanwhile, do watch your back while aboard cap't" and tips his hat to her as he exits. Before going to his cabin though he'll head to find Mulke.
Awake or asleep makes no difference, when he finds him he'll go up, grab his collars and shake him yelling "Why didn't you tell me what happened to Leto?!" ((he didn't say earlier correct?)
Harq You approach a passed-out Mulke. You grab Mulke by his shirt’s collar and begin shaking him. When his eyes open, it’s like you woke up a demon. He stands up straight, towering above you. “What’s done is done. Leto and the others are dead. It wasn’t worth mentioning.”
Harq slaps him yelling "Leto was our captain! Regardless of your feelings towards him that's the kind of information you'd share! Are you still holding a grudge about getting passed up for first mate?!" insight on anything he says 23 ((he's still likely drunk yeah? Also, we don't need to RP this out while the rest of the group waits. Basically Harq is hella pissed he didn't tell him while they were sharing stories and bullshitting over drinks earlier, and potentially suspects him in foul play.))
((With a 23, you could tell that aside from being drunk, Mulke doesn’t care and doesn’t want to care. He’s like a kid being dragged through a shopping mall when he just wants to go home and play games.))
Alright. The first night goes by relatively peacefully. You all got your long rest.
Day 2 of 3 Today, the weather is a little more windy. The sky is pretty cloudy and it seems like it could rain soon. Someone standing out on the top deck can feel the gentle breeze in the air, but everything is mostly darkened by the clouds blocking the sun. As the crew wakes up, they begin working a little bit before they eat, on the orders of Captain Brynn. You are all her guests, but she may need you pick up some slack from the lazier men.
Kronk will seek out the bo'sun and ask him, "I say friend, I would like to learn how to do long and short splices; do you think you could teach me?" He will slowly fiddle with a gold piece as he asks, he green and orange eyes glittering in eagerness.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Since Harq is proficient with Navigator's Tools he'll offer to help there, though he likely also knows the way around many other parts of the ship, so will spend the day generally ignoring Mulke, but trying to make himself useful on the ship both to take his mind off the news, as well as to get close to anyone of the crew he'd talked with while drinking the night before to see if he can get any more info about the potential mutiny (why/when/how/...). persuasion2215 ((again, double roll for adv/dis as you see fit))
Brodan will make his way on deck and use his magic to try and scare the lazier crewmen into doing there work so that he doesn't have to do a lot since he still is getting his sea legs. As he does this he will make sure to avoid any and all fire magic.

(Do you mean investigation with dex instead of int or investigation and a dex check? Well, I'll roll both just in case.)
Investigation with Dex: 13

Investigation: 21
Dex Check: 9
I meant both separate.

"Gods damn wind... Should've went down." Helena sighs and continues to just watch the ocean.
Oh and also, you could not tell the exact bounty, but it was definitely high. You could see parts of many zeroes.
