Thistle perks up at the question about kobolds. "Yes, as a matter of fact, they are very sensitive to sunlight, but we're not likely to get them out into it unless we trick them or force them. And their lair is likely heavily trapped. Depending on the condition of this mansion, we might be best off just firing it, and waiting to see what comes out. Surely dragon hide would survive a fire intact."

Thistle nods along with Zashier. “Sure, of course. That makes sense. I just ‘spect it’ll be hard going taking the fight to their warren. We can surely make a good plan in the morning.” She does not seem put out at all by his push back.
”That’s a generous offer, to put us up at your place. I’m more used to a, um, to a hard floor than I am a soft bed, and I’d be grateful for a place to spread my bedroll, yes. Thank you.”
Thistle will accompany Zashier to his farm for the night. “Is it far? Would it make more sense for us to gather there in the morning, rather than to come back here to Telly’s? I’ll admit I’ve no idea where any of these places are, relative to each other.”
Raddunth was getting fired up to march into the warren immediately, but after hearing the suggestion about resting and organizing, he nods his head at the wiser course of action.

(Please feel free to correct any of my inferences about where you are staying this evening.)
Thistle remembers several things she has learned about Kobolds, and shares them with the group. Her rash suggestion to just light the place on fire seems effective, though Zashier quickly reminds her that there are likely innocents inside, as well as the possibility of other valuables. Zashier then invites those of you without a place to stay to his farm for the evening.
Thistle, and I assume Raddunth and Yokini, accompany Zashier to his farm just across the river. As you make your way out of the Blue Moon Alehouse and turn West, Zashier points out several places of interest in Lowtown. You move West, then North across a small footbridge, and then West again through Lowtown toward the Moon River.
Places of Interest pointed out by Zashier:
You pass by a paddock of horses, several houses, Telly's smithing shop (Teldorthan's Arms), quite a few trade shops (feel free to fill in any gaps you would like with fun shops) that are closed up for the night. He explains how most townsfolk can afford to live in Hightown and come down to the Lowtown to do their shopping. Those that cant afford the luxury of Hightown make the most of life down in Lowtown. He also warns you of the River Rats, a local Lowtown gang of thugs - not as powerfull as the Braids, but still just as annoying.
You continue walking through Lowtown and pass by an open green area where people without shops will come and sell their wares (called the Market Green). Off in the distance you see stairs leading up to Hightown, and a makeshift crank elevator.
You pass by Sandercot Provisioners, the largest general store in Fallcrest. There is another store in Hightown with more quality goods, but higher prices. Sandercot's also has a bit of a reputation for some seedy trade deals, but nothing serious enough to get the local magistrate involved.
Another building just North of you still has its candles burning and a seemingly constant stream of noise. Zashier says that is the Lucky Gnome Taphouse - it is cheap, coarse, and known as a place where the underbelly of Fallcrest spend their evenings, including the River Rats. Kelson, the owner, is a rude gnome, tall for his race, and quiet surly.
Here Lemmy, who has been walking with you, bids you a farewell. He continues on North to his home - an upstairs room he rents above the local library and book repository. It is quite musty due to its Proximity to the Moon Falls.
After several minutes of walking and talking you come to the edge of the Moon River, the Lower Quays, the Lowtown equivalent of Hightown’s Upper Quays. Tradesmen coming up and down river have to stop off at these places to unload their goods and get them portaged either upriver or downriver by the dock master, Bartsamon “Barty” Strongbeard (a dwarf) and his crew. They have a monopoly on transporting goods, and are not well liked in town, but everyone has to use their services.
At those docks you find one of the Swiftwater Halflings, Terrwiliger “Terry” Swiftwater, manning his family’s keelboat. He knows Zashier, and is more than willing to give you and your animals a lift across the river.
Once you cross, its a very short walk to Zashier’s farmhouse, which I will let him describe.
**A new Fallcrest map has been uploaded to the Media channel in Discord so you can keep these places you now know about organized. Zashier's farm/farmhouse are not on the map, but they are just to the West of what you see.
Yokini gives Lem a loving smile in response to his invitation. But when it becomes clear there's no good place to house Gomol near Lemmy's apartment, Zashier mentions his farm is idyllic for the mule, and Yokini agrees it would be better at least for tonight for her to stay at the farm. She pats Lem on the hip. "See you in the morning, my friend."
Along the way, Yokini inquires with Lem and Zashier as to whether there is a healer in Fallcrest. "It's how I've been making a living," she explains. "As a traveling doctor."
Lem, even with a good friend like Yokini, found it hard to put his invitation into words, and after awkwardly gesturing and muttering to himself short descriptions of the small, short-ceilinged, musty "apartment" over the book repository with pseudoinvitations to no real effect, he gives up and then smiles as Yokini takes pity on him and graciously declines.
He heads home, with quiet goodbyes to the group (and zero follow-up to find out where and when they are meeting) to gather his things and process the odd evening alone.
Later at night, he'll head out to wander up to Hightown, casting invisibility on himself in a dark alley out of sight on the way. That spell's totally arcane, no mechanical arm needed. He heads to the Moon Valley Inn where Serim is staying, and parks himself out of the way across the street and just watches the inn for a while to see if there's anything interesting he notices about Serim, the Braids, the stinky Tiefling, etc. He doesn't move, or engage anyone, and about 5 minutes before the spell wears off, he'll head back to Lowtown and reappear in an alcove out of sight, and return home to read some of his spellbook and sleep.
"Ah yea, took me a bit to get used to that sorta thing as well. Put on a few extra pounds during the war, as you can see--"Zashier gestures up and down himself. "Not exactly conducive to most bedding, as it turns out, Ms. Thistle. Sis used to say if I stopped putting the weight of the world on my shoulders so much, it would.... heh, bit of a big guy joke there."He flashes a grin, though only those to the exact sides of him can really see it.
"Its, uh, its a fair bits away tho', but a fair bit private as well. So, less a worry of any braid types showing up in the midst of a meeting. A real disaster that would be."Zashier replied as the group ambled along. Turning to Yokini next, Zashier folds his arms and scratches his head with his trunk. "Hm. There's a few temples here or there, from what I can recall. Namely to Erathis, who I have mixed feelings on, and Papa Pelor, whose is a shining example to us all." He chuckles and wiggles a finger at Yokini. "That was a sun joke there. But in all seriousness, haven't had too much cause to visit either as of late. But if we roam about High Town long enough, I'll remember eventually where they are."
He taps his noggin a few times with his trunk, and then snaps his fingers. "Oh! There is Miss Mary Winter closer to the farmlands, and where most folk I know go to first for a spot patching up, and midwifing too. Just remember to bring a cloak with you when you go visit, as its always cold around her for some reason." With that, unless there's any more, he rattles off other places along the way along with a few comments about past interactions.
An obvious observation to make with Zashier is that places on the seedier side do not get as glowing review from the elephant man. But never is outright hateful. They just come with casual advice about minding one's pockets, and it helping to be in groups when dealing with those places. "I should take you guys by Bishop's Backery in the morning. He's kinda like Miss Kemara back at the other place, and likes to experiment sometimes. Last I heard, I he was working on adding special fillings to the mix, which my Sis has oh so been hoping to try out. Don't get much out though that one, on account of.... well, you'll see."

When you realize you're doing too much: Signature.
Under cover of darkness you head out from your apartment, making your way towards Hightown. No one is working the elevator this late at night, so you slowly and quietly make your way up the stairs into Hightown, through the streets, and across the bridge. You hunker down and wait, just watching the Moon Valley Inn. At first you dont notice much. After about 15 minutes or so, you notice one of the Tieflings from earlier crossing the bridge you did. He makes his way over to the Moon Valley Inn, and walks around behind. You dont see anything after that, but about 10 minutes later, he exits and makes the return path back to Hightown. A bit later, the same thing happens - this time, its the stinky tiefling. You see a third Tiefling coming later, but you have been ticking off the seconds, and you know your spell is about to wear off. You make your way back through the town, back to your apartment, considering all you have seen this night.
At first blush, there is little to distinguish Zashier's farms from any of the others focused on agricultural pursuits, other than its a fair-sized and well-loved one, considering the condition of various gates, fences, buildings, and so on. The farm grew up out of the pale green hills as if it had always been part of the scenery. The one-story house itself was a simple but sturdy wood, the colours being the painted a rustic green. Whereoff to the side is a currently closed barn, painted in similar but faded tones. From within, one can hear the sounds of at least one horse still settingly in for the night, as well as maybe a cow or two. Beyond it and off to the far left side, the group can see the beginnings of a pasture. And towards the right side of the yard, the farmland continues off into the growing darkness of nightfall.
Seated on the porch just outside the house is a middle-aged human woman with a faintly dark complexion, long, curly black hair that's been tied back into some kind of bun, and a warm smile on her face. One that quickly turns to exasperation as soon as she lays eyes on the rest of the party. She's tall as well, easily standing over six feet in height, and though pleasantly plump in places, she's also well built as one might expect from farm life. Sleeping at her feet is a massive, black and brown-haired mastiff -- easily as tall if not taller than most dwaves at its shoulders. "Hey Sis. Sorry 'bout bein late, won't happen again. Picked up a few friends though for a job in the morning." He glances back to the others. "That's my Sis, by the way. Name's Yasheira. I call her Yazzy, but you may not want to if you wish to keep your fingers."He says nonchalantly, eliciting an eye roll from the woman, as if he's told the same thing many times to visitors.
Yet, she did not deny it....

"Ah yea, that's Bitts, on account if you piss him off, he'll tear you to bitts."Zashier chuckles and slaps his knee. "Uh... but no, seriously. He will, so... It's a good thing noone here's a goblins. Hehe, so... Just, uhm... Just don't pull his tail or somethin, and everything should be fine.'" Bitts "Boofs" at that. Zashier awkwardly starts to rub the back of his neck until Yokini spoke up. "Hm? Oh right, yea. Some of you wanted to use the -- right!" He motions for folk to follow, and leads you all to the Barn.
Thankfully once the door's are open, the light from the house provides a fair bit of light. Though, you also saw a unlit hooded lantern stationed just within the barn. Zashier motions Yokini over to an empty stall, and then to any others over to ladder leading up into a hay loft. "There should be more than enough room for everyone up top along with some old winter blankets as well. If you need your privacy, just feel free to shuffle the haystakes about. Best you keep the light to the minimum for the rest of the family in here. Hama over there has her troubles getting to sleep, you see."He gestures over to a stall containing a half-conscious black coated draft horse. "Jessie and Jamie? Not so much."He then gestures over towards the stalls further to back containing a pair of cows with fine brown coats.
"That's pretty much everyone but me Mum. Might see her in the morning, might not, who knows really. But 'xpect to be woken up early, 'nd don't worry too known 'bout any trouble in the night. Bitts got you covered. If ya'll need anything else, just let me know."He sniffs at the air. "Sadly, sis and mum long since at dinner tonight, but that's okay, breakfast will be a hardy one."
"Zashier," the gnome says, "where can I get some water for Gomol here? I've got her feed, so if you could just show me where to put her for the night, I'll get her settled first."
Raddunth will also take care of the water and feed for his riding horse, before relaxing in the haystacks. (Unlike Hama, the riding horse is ready for sleep, after drinking the bucket of ale at the tavern.)

Thistle will pet Bitt while Zashier is petting him, judging that to be safe. She exchanges another glance with Yashiera, and a smile, and heads with the rest to the barn to settle in.
Once she’s seen to her horse, and laid a spot in the hay in the loft (always choose the hay over the hard boards, if it’s dry and uninhabited by bugs, which she checks), she’s not terribly tired, and will head down to sit by the front of the barn as night extends.
After a while spent watching and thinking, she’ll come back up quietly and sleep.

Yokini wordlessly waves at Yashiera, seeming a little gun shy. "Zashier," the gnome says, "where can I get some water for Gomol here? I've got her feed, so if you could just show me where to put her for the night, I'll get her settled first."
"Ah yea, that's Bitts, on account if you piss him off, he'll tear you to bitts." Zashier chuckles and slaps his knee. "Uh... but no, seriously.
Hama over there has her troubles getting to sleep, you see." He gestures over to a stall containing a half-conscious black coated draft horse. "Jessie and Jamie? Not so much." He then gestures over towards the stalls further to back containing a pair of cows with fine brown coats.
"That's pretty much everyone but me Mum. Might see her in the morning, might not, who knows really. But 'xpect to be woken up early, 'nd don't worry too known 'bout any trouble in the night. Bitts got you covered. If ya'll need anything else, just let me know." He sniffs at the air. "Sadly, sis and mum long since at dinner tonight, but that's okay, breakfast will be a hardy one."

(Unless, you know, something happens or somebody interrupts her or whatnot.)

Yokini feeds and waters Gomol and then finds a quiet place to sleep for the night.
The next morning, before and/or after breakfast, Yokini does the following:
