my description: we are in a 65x35 foot hut, long way running left to right. From back to front -

Raven probably had to step into the spikes (4 damage) to kill #8; Del is behind her about 15 feet rightward

then the table, pulled to the left wall stretching 15 feet into the room surrounded by spikes

Del will drop the spikes after the gnolls get their turn if any survive

Mindartis is right of that - he can reach both #4 and #5 by walking 15 feet front-left

gnolls #4 & #5 are just in front of the table

Quentin, Cup, and Ethen are by the front-left corner

Althaea is still by the front door middle front wall, Flitterbug was above her but moving rightward away from the gnolls))

Cup and Quentin nod before both firing a fire bolt at gnoll #4.

Althaea moves into position to get a better look at the table. Smiling, she hums as little tune to herself as she tunes her Lyre, before channeling the songs taught to her by her professors, animating the table as it seems to hop to attention. "Alright then Terry," she says quietly to herself, "let's see what you can do." Turning to face Althaea, it seems to take instructions from the song itself as it charges on four legs to the nearest enemy and slams into it.

Action: Use Animating Performance to animate the large table.

Bonus Action: Order Terry the Table to move towards and attack the nearest gnoll (Assuming it can reach one, otherwise he will dash towards the nearest gnoll))

((Not sure what was manipulated, I saw the crit on the second attack and was adding my brutal critical damage but it doesn't look like any other numbers changed. Next time I might post Mindartis and Althaea as separate posts to see if that helps.))

Alathea plays a little tune and Terry the Table, feeling that its dancing is constrained by the crowds around it, does 'The Bump' with Gnoll 6.

Mindartis charges at the nearest gnolls (Given the almost equal distance, I assume he'd go for the ones threatening the casters over the ones in the shrubbery) decapitating Gnoll 3, and putting Gnoll 4 within an inch of the grave!

Cup fiercely blasts a fireball at Gnoll 4!  And misses.

Straddling the still-warm corpse of Gnoll 2, Raven steps to the edge of the thorny thicket and with great precision slices Gnoll 8 into bite-sized pieces.

The phantasmal Flitterbug brings its illusory hammer down on Gnoll 4 and 5 (3 s already dead.) Gnoll 4 is still alive....barely.

Del brings eldritch forces to bear on the three healthiest gnolls, dragging g5 through the spiky thicket to face Mindartis, and shoving 6 and 7 into the back corner.

"Let me show you how it is done," Quentin says to his young apprentice as he shoots a firebolt at Gnoll 4....and also misses.

Gnoll 3 being already dead, Ethan sends an arrow into Gnoll 5, who was now standing in the same spot, and who is now dead in the same spot.

Gnoll 4, surrounded by enemies and the corpses of allies, gives a furious, hate-filled howl and launches a furious attack on Cup, the easiest-looking target:

Gnoll 6 and 7. now against the wall, tear down the hide form over a window and jump out, bellowing in Abyssal for backup!  You hear their dying gurgles as they are shredded by the vicious brambles....and you also hear answering shouts.

Ziia drops the spike spell (if you still want to.)

((On an unrelated note, the new game long for the character sheets looks useful))

((FB does not get to shift the target of Phantasmal Force - the illusion exists only in the mind of the target. Each saw and felt the blows of their own pixiehammer. The g3 damage is wasted and g4 gets the 4 - that change anything? ))

If the above revision still leaves something attacking Cup - Del uses his reaction to direct some cutting words and the offending gnoll - Cup's topnotch - you'd be better playin' hopscotch - lowering that higher attack roll to 19; hopefully it now misses

A bit confused by the Spike Growth persistence, he does tell Ziia that we are done with them, and thanks her

If gnoll 4 is still upright, it still thinks MegaFlitterbug is hitting it - and takes another 4 psych damage upside its head

If Cup is indeed ok, Del moves to look out the back door, making a calming gesture to the chained human at B-10 while asking everyone Shall I put up something to slow them down, or will we need open ground?

The human huddles back fearfully toward the fireplace as you speak to him. He looks bruised and scarred.

Flitterbug still has her action - still invisible, but all hear a little grunt of effort from above Althaea, and a spooky hand attacks the gnoll

17 if it hits the g4 takes 3 necro damage + cannot gain hp

It misses....but the whole rest of the party still has a turn to go.
