Are there multiple tunnels downe here, so that the giants are coming from many directions, or are they coming from a single tunnel? Raven has an idea of how to slow them, but it requires them to be using a single tunnel,and not be in the chain-area already.

Actually, though Fomorian 12 is still on the map, he was not QUITE fast enough to avoid a little final scorching...very final.

The satyrs suffer heavy losses as 5, 16, 17, 18 and 19 are all crushed by the clubs of the evil giants.  The party is up! (Raven still has the option to retroactively try to pick two locks and free another Eladrin: DC 17.  )

Though Mindartis and his satyr friends face heavy opposition in the northwest, the northeast battle is over, and the biggest mass of Fomorians is now the growing group in the southeast, starting to enter the underground. The enemy Fomorians are now close enough to attack for the next round.

 There are multiple short tunnels into a large open chamber. And the first one has entered the chamber with others behind.

On the previous round, yes Raven would have used her tools to release more of the elfs, assuming she had her action yet as she used a move and dash to get down ehre... Thieve's tool check: 9

She would also look over the chain to see how it is attached to the roots... perception: 31 (passive is 22.

Del continues around the east side of that hut - he gets past the corner surprised to see: a different firewall with no fomorians on this side; and (2) Athaea plus two older elves heading towards Mindartis; and (c) uncontrolled crowd southeast.

From a spot near where the root meets the ceiling, Flitterbug directs a bolt at the lead fomorian while telling her swarm of cousins Be careful! Those uglies are stupid, so phantasmal force is good! Maybe turn some into snails and sprites fly them above the brambles?

Nope Finally , she asks her fellow pixies Is that big chain magic? Could one of you dispel if it is?

Raven examines the big chain. It goes all the way around the tree with no break or lock or weak link that she can see. It does not seem magical, but the links are very large and thick and made of high quality steel.  It will probably take some magic, or a lot of patience with a hacksaw,  or some serious heat to cut through it.

The pixies confirm that they don't think it's magic, either.

Commander Flitterbug tasks some "indeterminate" pixies (we can recognize each other, even if you big mundanes cannot!) pointing at 22, 25, 26 who just came down Phantasm those three to think they're in a fire, hopefully they'll run away causing a traffic jam! And you others get ready to do the same on any who come out of those tunnels

If i'm reading my notes on my greatsword correctly, I think the Formilion is now blind/needs to make a saving throw, but i do not recall what the saving throw dc is

Unstable Backlash result: Shadowy tendrils lash around you. Each creature of your choice that you can see within 30 feet of you must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or take 9 necrotic damage. You also gain 12 temporary hit points.

Quentin and Cup team up for a Magic Missile barrage aiming at the giants furthest away at the moment.

Althaea continues her way to stay within casting range of Mindartis and the Satyrs. She points at one of the ones about to gang up on the satyrs and whispers in an unknown language. She also orders Cathy the cart to move to join and follow Del south, before turning and pointing at on of the Satyrs, "Come on, for the freedom of the Feywild!" she calls out.

Movement: 30 feet to stay nearish Mindartis and Satyrs

DC 17 Wis Saving throw or it takes 24 physic damage and has to use it's reaction to flee it's full movement speed if it has any. On a success it takes half damage and doesn't have to flee

Bonus Action: Bardic Inspiration (1d10) to Satyr 6, using same BA to order Cathy the Cart to Dash towards the southern fight.

Ability Check. When the creature rolls the Bardic Inspiration die to add it to an ability check, the creature can roll the Bardic Inspiration die again and choose which roll to use, as the mote pops and emits colorful, harmless sparks for a moment.

Saving Throw. As a result of Del's magic, Fomorians 19 and 30 suddenly look much stupider than before.

The pixies ignore Flitterbug, but when the spooky Raven speaks out of the dark and nothingness, it startles them into obedience.  They cast the illusion, and fire appears to burst form the ground around the three Fomorians! 22, 25 AND 26 (triplets by the look of them) scoff at the false flames.

Mindartis's first mighty blow sends #27's head flying off into the weeds!  Blinded, maybe, but in any case, he will not see anything again...ever. Mindartis can move into the thicket to engage 21 if he likes, or just reach over the heads of the satyrs and whack #7 with his second blow.

The magic missiles of Quentin and Cup fly after the giants....both look pretty close to the end of their ropes now.

Althaea sings a strange and horrible song that impinges on the ears of #6. (Saving throw: 6 ) She also inspires Satyr 6.

Ethen rushes to return to his patron, Raven. He reaches the entrance to the tunnels.

Behind the enemy crowd where nobody can see, Fomorian 31 is transformed into a tiny frog, and put to sleep by another pixie's spell.  The little fey quickly snatch up the transformed giant and fly off to find a pond to dump it in. 31 is out of the fight.

The Eladrin parents keep running after Althaea and Mindartis, and then disappear in a cloud of mist to teleport even nearer their son. Their cousins 4 and 5 emerge from the tree and chase after.

Under the tree, freed Eladrin 6, 7, 8, 19 and 20 prepare to take a devastating revenge on the Fomorians!
