Krov is a bit perplexed at the mimic and doesnt rly know what to do so he just runs up to it and steps on the now liquid toothy mass mimic thing-

There is a soft crunch and a shriek as the creature twists underfoot.

Inra.

((Did it nab my spear?))

((No. It lost it's adhesive properties when it changed))

Inra tries to circle around the creature to cut off its escape, slashing with her longsword.

Attack: 22 Damage: 9

The creature gives a shrek as the longsword slices into it. It attempts to bite Inra to escape as it continues trying to drag itself to the door.

Attack: 10 Damage:7 piercing, 4 acid

Whiskey up.

"I'm not even certain if youre a face a mother could love." Whiskey tells the sludge as he oncee again casts viscous mockery

The creature gives a short spasm, then its form relaxes and it goes still.

The creature is dead.

Krov picks up his sword and gives it a little kiss

That thing was... Weird.

Whiskey gathers his own sword as well "No kidding. Well, we should probably head back and let the king know the creature has been dealt with. Mayhaps we bring the body with as proof?"

Inra fishes her shield out of the now-dead muck, before casting a glance around the room. "Do you think we should check the rest of the barrels, just to be safe?"

Krov smiles

Well im up for a good smackin, i can still swing!

Whiskey gives a small smile "Be my guest. we can just say it was collateral damage worst comes to worst"

With a smile Krov starts slashing at the rest of the barrels.

The barrels fly this way and that. One sails across the room and hits the door. There's a faint noise, then a shout.

"You were yelling."

"Now you're not."

"Did you do it?"

"Or did you not?"

"So it would appear. The thing is certainly deceased and there doesnt really seem to be any other traces around of another one" Whiskey pokes the tip of his longsword into the pile of sludge on the ground as he speaks "Perfectly safe now, just a little nasty."

There is a pause, then the two gnomes appear at the door. Their eyes are wide as they take in the damage, then wider as they see the creature.

"The creature fought hard?"

"Made you  break so much?"

"Truly dead?"

"Or just mostly?"

Whiskey thinks for a moment and then says "Krov wanna hit the thing again real hard to make sure its dead?"

Gladly.

Krovs eyes light up and he smashes his greatsword in the creature puddle.

There's wincing and they turn a little green at the sound. 

"Should go tell King Korboz."

"Yeah. Should..."

They both turn and run down the corridor.
