"There is nothing vague about it. Like I told your friend, he touched that idol and the dead came to life. They rose up from that water, killed Igan and one of my men, and forced us to flee into that...reliquary, or whatever it was," Grim answers Uragum.
Zelra flings her hands into the air. "I cannot believe this. Wait, did Igan know how to light the beacon? Maybe we can pay some clerics to get him to reveal how to do it, like Ola suggested." She heads over to the ferry and tells Uragum to come along.
"I asked specifics, how was Igan killed? With claw, bite, what?" Uragan says continuing to press the matter. "If you don't want to answer, or your too afraid to admit what you did, no matter. We will get the truth either with a cleric or from the Fisg after interrogation is done."
Uragum would b pull Sylyra aside and provide an update on their suspicion that Igan was killed by one of the others that went down there and Uragum had a suspician it was Grimm.
To Zelra, Grim simply shrugs. He adjusts his splint armor and stares down Uragum, saying, "The skeletons had swords. You do the math, big guy. You know, it might be easier to intimidate me if I knew who in the hells you people--" He stops midsentence, squinting at Sylyra as he arrives.
Zelra pulls Uragum along, as well as Sylyra. "It's like you said, Uragum. We don't need him to tell us, we can just get a cleric to do it for us. Come on, lets just get Igan's body to a temple and then we can bring it back quickly, since that's what the servants want."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ola made several steps in the groups direction (still prepared to return to the ferry at first sign from those unfaithful guards to rush to the shore). "We already said who we are and introduced ourselves. We were sent both by hose Sokol and by Black Fist to investigate the misshapen on the island. We did our job, now we are going to report our findings. So far it does not look that good for all of you. So, if anyone wants to add something to our report (to save himself may be?) now is the best time. Otherwise, as I said - take a rest, eat something, and wait for your superiors to return for you."
Since Grimm insists - Persuasion: 15 +2
As if loosing interest in the Firsts, she turned to the group "If we are done here, let's bring the body to the boat."
Sylyra glares at Grimm, but pulls his eyes away from the sergeant to address the others of his party. "Surely you don't want to traipse through town carrying a corpse. Leave Igan here. You can go ashore, report our findings, and if necessary, bring a priest back to the island. It is possible that once House Sokol learns of Igan's fate, someone may step forward who knows how to relight the beacon."
Grim shakes his head from Sylyra to answer Ola, "What I was going to say is that you'd think I'd at least recognize you if you'd been sent by the people I work for, but...your friend actually looks familiar...anyway, I'm not about to give you something you can spin against me, it's clear that's what you're all fishing for; but you have my word I will give my full report to my superiors when asked, and no sooner."
OOC: At this stage, we are closing out the events of this adventure, and we can take care of a few things at once before proceeding to downtime. Is there anything else to do here on Thorn Island?
(I take it non of the other Black First were moved by add anything to Grim's version of the story?)
""You can go"? Does it mean you are planning to stay? It is not a bad idea, considering suspicion and the treasure." Ola was surprised by Sylvyra's dedication - until now it looked as if he did not want to deal with Grim, but would not argue against it.
OOC: The other Black Fists seem content to let Grim speak for them. They won't put up a fight to stay or go, they'll go with you to report to the outpost if that is your decision.
Sylyra moves toward Uragum, holding his arms out. "Let me take Igan from you," he says, only a hint of revulsion and regret in his voice. "I'll deliver him to the house while you accompany this lot back to the mainland. If they have any questions, I'll be able to answer most of them. I'll see you all later tonight."
OOC: With the next round of posts, let's get a general outline as to what everyone is doing for the rest of the night, and we'll wrap this adventure up from there. We know at least that you are planning to report in and turn the Black Fists in for judgment, so just need some confirmation to resolve things.
For Sylyra:
OOC: Is there anything in particular that you are looking for/returning to grab, or any areas you want to focus on?
Sylyra will take the body to the house and then return to the mainland and head back to the inn to wait for the others or meet up if they get there first.
Zelra will definitely try to get a cleric to see if Igan knew how to turn on the beacon. If she manages to find how to turn on the beacon, she'll try to persuade House Sokol to pay the group for finding Igan and turning it back on.
Yes, the plan is to return (without BF) report to Sergeant and Sokol's representative (hopefully, she will arrange the visit to Sokol's, they might want to hear first-hand witnesses and explain the whole situation with suspicious injuries on the Igan, sacs of treasures from the cave that guards hold, and guards neglect of their duty), visit the Temple with report about some kind of necromancy cult, probable curse and request for someone able to talk to the dead and extract the truth from suspects (there had to be someone with the Zone of Truth around the town, may be Brother Keefe truly can help here). Ola would not mention any payments but would not stop others from discussing it either.
OOC: We'll handle the cleric, beacon research, and reports as part of downtime activities. It sounded earlier like you wanted to detain Grim and the rest of the Black Fists - is everyone on board with Ola's plan to return without them first?
Uragum would stay behind to keep an eye on the men on the island if the others are returning first. Hed likely not be able to stop them from leaving if they pressed it but he could atheist attest to their fleeing if it happens.

Sylyra heads toward the rest of the party to tell them we should leave the body of Igan.

I think after all is said and done, Uragum would try to argue for at least 10% finders fee regarding the solid jade statue for the group.

Arnald and Sly would stay and help Uragum keep watch. First one to try and leave gets an arrow through the eye.
