You creep down into the cellar. At first you don’t spot anything out of the ordinary but in a far corner you see a grate on hinges leading into a tunnel. After a short distance the tunnel opens up into a sewer tunnel. One way is as you’d expect a sewer to be. Pitch black, stinking and unoccupied. The other appears well travelled, path cleared through the muck on the side gantry, torches in sconces providing intermittent pools of illumination.
Rollo creeps closer, noticing that there are multiple sets of rat tracks, including some that are humanoid sized. You spot in the shadows of one of the sconces ahead the silhouettes of two humanoids sat at an improvised table, made of planks over a few bricks. You are too far away to hear their conversation however.

The bells ringing slowly dies off. Glancing at each other and then back down the tunnel the way you came at the others, you think that maybe. Just maybe you got away with it. Then Eoni’s keen hearing picks up the skittering of many little clawed feet coming towards you
