Pointing to the trapdoor, Leowin raises an eyebrow to the party, wordlessly suggesting that they go through it and leave whoever's coming to find an empty room.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Leowin, a little more circumspect, has a look down the tunnel and starts to descend slowly, still keeping a close eye on his surroundings. He lights a candle from his pack and hurries the others into the tunnel, pointing at the trapdoor to get it shut before the approaching people arrive.
Draskan and Rollo slip down the ladder and drop the trap door just in time to hear voices and footfall in the room above. You hear cursing while the dead are checked for vital signs. This gives you enough time to get to the bottom of the ladder and down the tunnel enough that the light from Diomedes shield cannot be seen from above. Heading forwards Eoni stops the group before a trip wire attached to a rudimentary alarm. It is simple enough to step over the wire and continue on without any fuss. After several twists and turns the tunnel ends at a false wall, clear from this side by the exposed timber.
