„Ireena, Ismark, what do you think? Should we try to get some answers, or would you prefer to avoid contact and keep on moving?“, Nadariel says silently. 

(They are not the same people. They look and dress like them, it seems that they belong to the same group of people.)

"If they are people you have already met and you do not trust them then let us move onward past them." Ismark says. "Although it is getting late and it would not be wise to leave the road."

"They seem... jovial... enough," Tierra searches for the word for a second, "I doubt at this point that they're going to be wanting to attack."

Falzaren: "I suggest we join them, at least for the night. More eyes to see what might come, since we have to spend the night here anyway. And in the morning, if they are headed the same way, we can always travel together."

Errol:

Errol suggests, "Well, if the man who sent us here under false pretenses is not with them, I say we join them and try to get a better feel for their culture."

Nadariel stows his spear behind his shield and slowly approaches the Campsite.

Tierra follows.

"This aughta interesting either which way." Belmarm comments on as he sheathed his blade at last and followed after the others with a smile on his face.

Ismark and Ireena both nod as they step forward to follow the party to the camp. As he walks Ismark keeps a hand close to his sword.

Falzaren will follow along at the rear of the group.

„Hallo my fellow travelers.“ Nadariel announces himself friendly.

As the group approach most of the people around the fire continue with what they are doing. Some of the more alert watch the group warmly.

(Dumb question, but do any of them scream leader/under boss/etc to us?)

Not be that you see. Several seem to be drunk in fact.

Errol:

Errol moves casually up to the camp, keeping an eye out for anything that looks out of place or anyone who seems to be viewing them as easy marks (passive Perception/Insight).

I‘ll approach the closest one who looks only tipsy and not completely drunk. 
„Good evening ma‘am, we are traveling from Beregost and we got lost. You look like a well traveled group, maybe your leader could point us in the right direction?“

(If everyone is already wasted, i can use Lay on Hands to cure poison, alcohol is a poison so i should be able to partly sober someone up a bit if needed)

The one you talk to seems to barely notice you at first. As the say the name of Beregost they give you a strange look as if trying to process this. "What is this Beregost? I have never heard of such a place in Barovia..."

Euroll you notice that one of them does keep any eye on you for a few moments before going into the largest tent that is near the water.

Errol:

”Nadariel, I presume their leader is in that big tent over there,” Errol says, nodding his head in that direction.  “I expect we will see him or her shortly,” he finishes, folding his hands and looking that way.

Nadariel nods in agreement.

Falzaren will start moving over towards the tent.
