Knowing that they’d probably put their foot in it if they speak, Forbi and Dorbi take a step back, allowing Pelaios and Admora to get closer. They’ll keep their distance but are ready for any inconvenience. Listening to the guards and waiting to see if they’re lying about anything at all.
Hercule takes notice of the walls, resisting to the urge to clean the stains from them. He turns to the officer's question and motions down the street. "Would you know of any people or criminals who take the body parts of animals?"

Rose smiled warmly. "Hello, good sir! I am Rose, a daughter of House Amcathra and consecrated to the Goddess Sune, it would please me greatly if I could ask you a question. My comrades and I are seeking a group of criminals who have taken an odd looking crate, most likely via wagon. Have you seen anything suspicious along those lines?"
Pelaios clears his throat and waves a guard down. “You there. Can you be of some assistance? We were robbed on the road, and we’re attempting to track down our property. Strange crate, came in by wagon. Anything unusual ring a bell like that in the last day?”
Hercule/Rose: The officer ponders Hercule's words for a moment, "While there are certainly criminals within the city walls, I would sooner arrest them than know their habits. That said, I'm sure there is most likely a market for such things if you look deep enough." The officer turns to Rose next and smiles, "We check each and every wagon that comes through the gates and many have crates on them. Odd looking in what way?"
Pelaios/Admora: The guard looks from Pelaios to Admora and thinks for a moment. "We don't see as many wagons come through these gates as the other two, but I think he might have had one with a solitary crate on it yesterday." He points to a dark haired man standing behind him. "Jeffers, didn't you have a wagon with just one crate on it yesterday?" The man thinks for a few moments and shakes his head saying, "No, I don't think so, i would definitely remember that."
The first guard turns back and shrugs his shoulders, "Well I guess not then. It's hard to remember what all comes through here to be honest."
Forbi/Dorbi: As the first guard is talking to Pelaios and Admora and mentions the wagon, Jeffers had swung his head around to look with recognition on his face, then a small quick scowl before giving his answer.
Admora: Watching the two guards you believe the first at his word, the second however you know showed recognition for a moment when a wagon with a solitary crate on it coming through was mentioned.
Rose: The officer thinks for a moment and looks over to the right side of the wall and points to one of the guards talking to Finn. "I do remember Gareth over there diverting a wagon that was lightly loaded on it to the east gate yesterday. I wasn't paying that much attention to it though so I'm not sure what all was on it, but it wasn't a lot. We had a lot of traffic and it's common to send some to the next gate over to help spread out the load sometimes. He's talking to your friend over there."
Rose gave a bow of appreciation. "My thanks, good sir. May you and those you love be blessed by Sune." She said, making the ritual kiss and hand gesture of her goddess' blessings before heading off to see how Finn was doing.
"Very well. The information is much appreciated."Admora gives a small bow before looking to the others, "is there anything else?"
=========
The moment they are a good distance away, Admora turns to the others, "The human known as Jeffers, he hides something. How are we to find the truth?"
Pelaios looks over. “Perhaps he just needs a bit of help to find his conscience, if someone can distract anyone watching.”
"I am suspicious what you have in mind, Pelaois."Admoraeyes up Pelaois, but it turns to a smile, "But I would be in denial if I said I was not curious... With some domesticated animal, I can cause something. Perhaps do something myself, perhaps?" The druid looks around to see what sort of animal the city holds.
Admora: Looking around, you see a couple of cats walking around together, a dog sniffing around a table nearby hoping to get a handout, and three birds flying overhead.
Admora winces, thinking of ideas, "I... think one does make sense. So, I am thinking a wolf. From a nearby dark alley, I emerge rabid and covered in dirt, I got for the innocently idle gnomes and, with goddess's blessing, distract these men and allow Pelaois to do his plan... Too extravagant? What are your thoughts?"
Rose/Hercule: You walk over to Finn and the guard Gareth who has a slight scowl on his face as he is holding his hand out to Finn. He notices you walking over and he pulls his hand back and nods at you both. "Can I help you?"

Rose smiled wryly. "Well. Odd in that it'll be the only one in the wagon, I don't think they've had enough time to pick up more crates."

“Perhaps you could attack the two of us. The guards would have to help some unprotected citizens and it will be better than putting anyone in danger”

“I think that’s fantastic. Hop to, and I’ll have a suggestion for that man to tell me what he knows about the crate.” Pelaios is ready.
