If there is enough time, Bhuraelea would try to alter the magic of the Tatoo so that instead of Mage Armor, it can cast the Shield spell once a day. I have Arcana, Tinker Tools and Alchemy supplies proficiency and tools. If i can not change it here, i would at least try to studdy it to see what may be needed to make alterations to it.

Bhuraelea will look around if he can find a hide shield somewhere in camp, before he rests for the night. Even in camp he will insist on seting up a watch. (Perception for my shift: 7)
