The party pushes into the western tunnel, and finds it makes two 90 degree turns right away. When they round the corner of the second turn, they see dim green light dancing from a larger cavern.

Seeing the green glowing flame-light, Rosie whispers "Oh dear!" and motions with her hands to cast Bless on Baeshra, Ireniana and Whistler.
The green flame light gives you a bad feeling. Seeing Rosie cast Bless, other party members can cast a spell or draw their weapons or ready an attack or gear themselves up however they see fit.
As the party proceeds down the tunnel they see it open into a large cavern. It is so large that you can't see the other side of it. A blast furnace and a mechanical bellows powered by a waterwheel dominate this large chamber. The furnace is cold and dark, but heaps of coal are piled nearby, along with carts full of unrefined ore. The waterwheel sits in a ten-foot-wide channel cut into the floor of the room, but the channel is dry.
More than a dozen withered corpses are scattered around the room. These slain dwarves, orcs, and an ogre or two are still wearing the remnants of their armor.
Once you get to the end of the tunnel, you can see the source of the green light. A hideous skull floats above the furnace, twenty feet off the floor. It is surrounded in green flames and it's eyes glow with evil flames. Those dull glowing eyes are looking directly at you.
The channel is 5 feet deep, no ability check is required to scramble in or out.

Nyx darts forward and launches a bolt towards the Flameskull. The bolt goes wide, but Nyx hides herself in a crack in the rock tunnel.
Whistler runs towards the Floating Flameskull and expertly takes out the Zombie in his way.
Ireniana non-nonchalantly walks into the room and lands a solid hit on the Ogre Zombie.
Droop squirms his way through the people in front of him and then gives a knowing nod to Ireniana (uses his Commander's Strike to allow Ireniana to use her Reaction on this turn to make another attack).
An eerie laugh echoes through the chamber as the Flameskull cackles. "I've been waiting for you! Time to burn, peons!" Suddenly a bright streak flashes from the Flameskull towards the majority of the party that is still huddled up in the tunnel. It blossoms with a low roar into an explosion of flame right in the middle of the party.
Dino-Baeshra, Droop, Nyx, Rosie, Lyngheid, Umbriel must make a DC 13 Dexterity Saving Throw or take 32 fire damage. Half damage (14) on a success.
The Flameskull darts away, still hovering 20' above the ground and illuminating more of the cavern as it goes.
Droop Dex Save: 14.
Rosie Dex Save: 14.
Droop manages to avoid the worst of the blast, but Rosie takes the full impact, she screams in pain as the flames burst around her. (Still Up!)
Rosie screams in anger, and almost heals herself, then thinks better of it and casts Spiritual Weapon just at the end of it's range. Attack: 11, but it misses the Flameskull and it cackles maniacally. Rosie darts back around the corner and peeks out to see who else is injured.

Whistler, feeling disappointed leaves the fire and places his beloved Greatsword into the flames.

Baeshra would turn to the others and aks them to handle the skull or bring it down to him while he works on the zombies and shift into dino form.
