Umbriel turns his attention to the hellhound in front of him so as to free up reinforcements for Whistler - Shocking Grasp! 

Attack: 27 Damage: 10 lightning damage, and it can't take reactions until the start of its next turn.

Ireniana will attack the hellhound again. 

Attack: 19 Damage: 9

Attack: 22 Damage: 13

Critical moment, so we'll pause here for Baeshra's round 15 bonus action and round 16 turn.

Round 15 BA: Baeshra moves towards the hound and tries to tear its flesh with his teeth.

Hungry Jaws: Attack: 26 Damage: 10 (+4 temp hp if it hits)

 Round 16
Baeshra conjures up a mist of healing energy around himself, sending a piece of it over towards Whistler to aid him.

Aura of Vitality 3 healing for Whistler (12 if Lyngheid's blessing of hope is still up.)

Nyx runs for the giant, yelling out "Fee, fie, foe, fum..." as she leaps forward, stabbing at it with her rapier before rolling backwards, loading a bolt of giant slaying into her crossbow before she steadies herself, aims for the giant and pulls the trigger. "I smell the blood of a giant tyrant."

OCC:  Move 30 feet to giant, rapier attack, Fancy Footwork to not provoke AoE, move 5 feet back plus Mirthful leap for another 7, than bonus action crossbow. Hopefully that gets me outside of the giants reach.

If the Bolt hits the giant must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw, taking an extra 6d10 piercing damage on a failed save, or half as much extra damage on a successful one

Woohoo!  Nyx lands a combo just in time!

Round 16:

Umbriel reaches out and grasps the hell hound around the neck, squeezing and delivering a killing blow!

Whistler grits his teeth and swings at the Ogre: 12, 22

 The second attack hits, doing 16 + [roll]2d6[/roll fire damage.

Nyx leaps forward, stabs the giant with her Rapier, and jumps backward, shooting her crossbow in mid air.  Giant's Con Save: 24

(Whistler's fire damage: 9.

The Giant makes his save from the special bolt, taking 23 damage.

Lyngheid rushes forward and swings at the giant, simultaneously attacking with her spiritual weapon, but both attacks bounce harmlessly off the giant's thick plate armor.

Ireniana swings twice, and misses!

The Ogre swings a table leg at Whistler: 23 and Whistler manages to duck out of the way!

Baeshra (misses with Round 15 bonus action) conjures his healing mist, and Whistler gains 12 much needed hit points.

The dwarves and Droop move forward, Droop rushing to get to the giant, but his exhausting slows him down too much.

The Fire giant laughs at Lyngheid and then swings: 29 and his sword whizzes right over her head, sparks flying as it smashes into the wall. His grin vanishes as he swings at her again: 16.

But the brave dwarf manages to block the attack with her shield.

Suddenly, the bucket chain stops and a disturbing silence descends throughout the rooms.

The party is up for round 17!

Lyngheid grins up at the giant over her shield, " Feck off, ya wanker!"

Lightbringer Attack: 21 Damage: 11 + 8 Divine Smite.

Spiritual Weapon Attack: 16 Damage: 4

Baeshra sends more healing mist towards Whistler and then places a glowing hand on himself to heal more.

Aura of Vitality bonus action to heal Whistler for 12
Cure Wounds to heal himself for 12

Ireniana will move 25 feet toward the giant and take the dodge action. 

Nyx darts forward to attack the giant, trying the same as before (without the giant slayer bolt).

OCC: Move, rapier attack, fancy footwork, move back to where she started, bonus action crossbow attack.

Rapier: Attack: 16 Damage: 9

Hand Crossbow (with magic bolt +1):    Attack: 23 Damage: 9

Sneak Attack (as others are engaged): 16

Umbriel steps over the hellhound carcass and moves up next to Droop. Reaching a hand down, he pats Droop on the shoulder, and says "Hang in there, Droop, we've got this." With his other hand, Umbriel sends two Eldritch Blasts at the Fire Giant's face: 

Attack: 8 Damage: 10
Attack: 18 Damage: 7

Round 17:

Umbriel offers some encouraging words to Droop before launching two Eldritch Blasts at the Fire Giant.  The first one smashes into his forehead!

Whistler tries to take out the Ogre: 16, 14

 His first attack slices into the beast, doing 25 slashing and 11 fire damage!

and the Ogre falls!  Whistler spins, using his GWM bonus action to attack the fire giant: 7

and lands a solid blow, doing 17 slashing damage.

Nyx dances in, then out, but the heat is getting to her as both attacks miss by a wide margin.

Lyngheid grins as she sees the Fire Giant grimace and manages to land a divine blow.

Ireniana steps up and tries dodging all incoming attacks.

Baeshra hands out the healing, and Whistler feels a bit better!

The dwarves shuffle around trying to make room, and Droop nods gratefully at Umbriel, looking for a gap in the line to get to the fire giant, but can't find one.

The Fire Giant snarles at Lyngheid "After you!" and swings: 25

misses, and swings at her again: 25.

 this time connecting, and Lyngheid tanks 35 slashing damage.

Summary:
- Lyngheid takes 21 slashing damage.

The party is up for round 18!

Lyngheid gritted her teeth against the pain....one more strike and then she'd need to dip into her blessings to help the others once more....

Baeshra looks around and quickly assesses his allies states before bestowing healing to Ireniana and Droop.

Cure Wounds and Aura of Vitality for 12 hp to each.

Ireniana will drop her sword and shield, pull out her bow and fire one of the Arrows of Slaying (second attack) and one of the +1 arrows. 

Attack: 20 Damage: 9

Attack: 21 Damage: 12

If the attack hits, the Giant needs to make a CON save DC 17 or take 40 damage

Or half on success. 

 The hits finally start to land!  Giants CON save: 24

 Darnit!  But he still takes half of the 40 damage, so that's 41 damage from both attacks, not bad!

Droop gladly takes Baeshra's healing aura, and with Lyngheid's attack landing we'll wait for Umbriel.  The Fire Giant is almost down!

Nyx yells out as the giant swings at Lyngheid. "I have seen creatures like you before... but last time I had to pay admission!"

OCC: As a reaction before turn 18, Nyx uses Cutting Words to lower the Fire Giants attack roll by 6 . If the roll is 3 or more, then it misses Lyngheid and shes gets her 21 HP back.

OCC: *Wink* You can thank me later Lyngheid! That attack roll become a 20, which I believe misses.

Nyx tries the help out with the giant fighting again, after all, she may as well trying to fell the beast seeing shes going to be singing about how she did.

OCC: Move, rapier attack, fancy footwork, move back to where she started, bonus action crossbow attack.

Rapier:   Attack: 14 Damage: 8

Hand Crossbow with +1 bolt:   Attack: 16 Damage: 6

Sneak Attack (as other are engaged):   12

Umbriel gathers his wits and decides not to chance this attack - Magic Missile at first level:

10 force damage to the fire giant as little motes of shadow streak forth and home in on his big frame.
