A slight glint came into Lyngheids eyes, " Thats a lot of adamantium....I know a few dwarven lords who'd pay handsomely for that much raw material for dwarven plate and shields...."
"The doors are sealed by magical means, and I'm afraid I don't have anything powerful enough to dispel the effect. There's magic about the forge as well. Nyx, do you think you can pry that eye loose?"
Umbriel also takes a look around. (Was the room to the west mentioned? I may have missed it.)

You poke your head into the room to the west. It contains a 10-foo-tall wooden table with an iron dagger stuck in it's top. The dagger is as big as a human-sized greatsword and looks twice as heavy.
Not bad! After studying the 50 foot tall doors, poking and prodding them, and feeling along the gaps (that you can reach), you determine them to be quite sturdy. They are indeed made out of solid Adamantine, and it must be thick, because they seem airtight and soundproof. What's strange is that they are even more airtight than the expert craftmanship should allow. You determine that the magic that holds them shut is also making them airtight and soundproof.
Lyngheid examines the stonework of the floor the doors sit upon, it may prove somewhat less robust..
Stonework ( History): 28
Your keen eye manages to pick up a few marks and scrapes on the floor showing that the doors have been open somewhat recently, certainly within the last week.
Ouch, Nyx leaps up and tries to grab a handhold to start climbing, but the adamantine is smooth beneath her hands and she slides back to the ground. Nyx spends another 10 minutes futilely trying to climb up to the giant ruby in the eye, but never gets close. Luckily, she isn't able to get far enough off the ground to get hurt on any of the multiple times she falls.
While Nyx is trying to get the giant ruby, Lyngheid tries to get through the giant doors to the south, the rest of you continue exploring the room and discussing your plan. Those who listen at the smaller northern doors can't hear anything on the other side with their passive perception. But a few of you who check out the elevator in area 24 see some faint light from torches coming from the hallway in the north of that room and can barely make out the sound of voices as well.
" I mean...I'd hide the expensive stuff behind the giant unbreakable doors myself. But feel free to look aroun elsewhere."
Lyngheid grinned.
She kept an ear out wondering what it was Unbriel had seen or heard.
Perception: 7
Your ears are still ringing from all the blood rushing to your head after spending the last 20 minutes bent over studying the floor and you can't hear any voices.
Baeshra watches Lyngheid examining the floor and frowns, thinking wistfully of the spells he'd already used to sabotage the mill and moves to quietly examine the incoming torches.

" Should we knock on the door?"

Lyngheid went up and inspected the doors....there must be a means of opening....possibly a magical key carried by the Duke....
She raised her fist before the door, looking back at the others with a cheeky grin.
(Which way does the pull of the conch lead us again?)
Make an Investigation check.
To the north-east.

Nyx's eyes light up when she sees the ruby.
"I don't know what UI will sure try."
OCC: Does it look like Nyx could climb up the statue, maybe with the help of some rope and be able to get to the eye?

Yes, there are plenty of places to grab onto and climb up to the ruby. Make an Athletics check.
" The doors have scraped this stone...could be we could dig under. As they're soundproof they wouldn't hear us for a while..."

"We've got company!" Umbriel hisses at the others. "Let's find that conch and get out of here!"
He'll go north just far enough to see around the corners of the next room past the elevator.
