It's then that Lyngheid and Baeshra see about a dozen frost giants coming down the docks, some staggering drunkenly, most hauling kegs of ale on their shoulders and sacks stuffed to the brim.
They don't seem to have noticed anything amiss with the ship yet.
She didn't admit it to her friends but Irenianas death was a large part of why she was eager to take on these giants, the one watching the ship hadn't participated in the raid but they had...and they should pay for it.
Umbriel's face falls as he sees the drunken giants. "I have nothing left except my basic Eldritch magics and a few small defensive spells, and though we might be able to bluster our way past a single giant, a dozen is another matter. I think we need to exercise caution here and perhaps remain out of sight. Alternatively," he muses, "we could always stow away below decks, until such time as we regain our strength, then strike them unawares before they make landfall again."
Alright, you get to the top deck, peek over the gunnel, and see the dock with the baker's dozen of Frost Giants walking on it. There doesn't appear to be anywhere to hide or even exit the ship without being seen on the dock side.
The sea side of the ship might be doable, but that's a jump into the cold sea, you'll all need to make a Con Save to avoid several rounds of paralysis unless you've got some magical means of staying warm. Except Baeshra, his lizard body is used to cold water.
( Looks like our best bet is to hide deep down in the ship and pick them off while they are sleeping and hide in parts of the ship they can't enter- bilge etc.)
Baeshra looks around at the, probably, still empty docks, "Does anyone know where the locals went?"

(Is the boat anchored or tied to the dock? And is there any current acting on the ship at the moment?)
Lyngheid grins, " They're drunk....we can probably take them..."
Baeshra glares at Lyngheid, "Ireniana died when we faced only four, how do you think the four of us can take a dozen of them?"
"We are hurt and down our numbers, drunk or not they are giants and difficult foes. We should avoid them, not run head long into another mess."

" Fine..."
" So what then? We just let them leave?"

Lyngheid raised an eyebrow at Umbriel....though it would mean abandoning their friends body....
" If we strand them here, more people will suffer....we either let them escape or stow away...and we need to decide right now!"
Baeshra shrugs, "Sabotage the ship, escape, let them sail off, good plan?"
You remember seeing some ropes tying it to the dock. It was pretty stationary, no current from what you can recall.
The giants are about halfway down the dock to the ship now.
Umbriel nods. "Let's be quick."
Baeshra looks quickly around, "Never mind, time to go."
Looking bitterly disappointed Lyngheid nodded and tried to get back to the dock so they could hide.

Umbriel slowly slinks back to the hatch leading below decks, nudging Droop to follow quietly.
Droop nods, his eyes wide.
Is that the plan? If so, everyone make a Stealth check to hide below decks.
