After a few hours on the road, you again approach the town of Port Llast, this time from the opposite side. The gates are guarded by a pair of haggard looking humans. The older one watches your approach then says:
"Sorry, no travelers allowed into town. We were attacked by giants yesterday, and everyone is gathering their dead and cleaning up the destruction."
" We know, we killed a bunch of them and burned their ship on the open sea......now we're back to collect our fallen.", Lyngheid said simply.
He raises an eyebrow. "That so? Burned their ship on the open sea, aye? We won't be having any more problems from them, then, is that what you are saying?"
The guard is dubious about your claims, make a Persuasion check.
"Tell me...how can you burn a ship surrounded by water?!? Be on your way now, the town has had a tough enough time already, no need for further trouble."
Lyngheid shook her head, " We're going in. We've a fallen friend in there and I'm not in a mood to be delayed by the likes of you. Anyone with a pair of eyes will tell you we were here and we defended your bloody town. Now out the way or I'll put you out the way."
The guard sighs. "Well, I'm not going to fight you miss, there's been enough bloodshed. Just know that the mayor doesn't want visitors."
And he lets you through.
As you walk down the streets, you see some familiar sights. There are quite a few people, all busy. Some are digging through rubble, some healing, some groups of carpenters going around starting repairs.
It doesn't take long to find your way to where you left Ireniana, but there is no body where you left her. In fact, you haven't seen any bodies, or dead people. It seems they have all been taken care of.
It's not far, just down the street. And they are busy! People coming and going, and a crew carrying litters, with sheets covering the bodies. This crew is being directed by a female Goliath who looks up as you approach. Despite her size, she is quite soft spoken.
If they have any crops or farmland nearby, especially one that got trampled by the giants, Baeshra will lean over to Umbriel, "We should stay here for a while, I have something to do." And will move off and settle down to begin cast Plant Growth for 8 hours to help improve their harvest for the next year.
While Baeshra does that, Umbriel turns to Nyx and says "Baeshra is going to need some time, do you think you can ask around about that gambling chip? Maybe someone knows where it came from. I'll help Lyngheid."
" A friend of ours, she fell battling the giants."
The Goliath smiles gently. "I am sorry for you, but thankful for her help. And yours. Follow me."
And she shows you all of the bodies remaining to be claimed, where you find Ireniana. "What would you like to do with her? We can bury her here at Port Llast in our memorial garden with the other fallen defenders of the town?"

You noticed quite a few fields around the walls of the town on your way in, and many gardens, private and community, as you walked through town that will surely benefit from your spell.

You can either spend the next 8 hours asking around, and then make an Investigation check, or roll 1d4+1, and then spend that many days around Port Llast investigating, helping with cleanup, and getting in good with the locals, at the cost of 5 gp per day, plus food and lodging. The first has a higher DC.

Lyngheid looks uncertain, " We.....we were hoping their might be some chance of raising her in the future. Would burial make that more difficult?"
" Sorry...I was never overly involved in this part of my temples business I tended more towards the hatch and match than the dispatch..."
" If you can take me to the injured I will do what I can to help."
Umbriel also is fine with spending a few days here. After the first day of trying to help Lyngheid out, he'll spend the second and third days in research, trying to learn as much as he can about giants, their war with the dragons, and anything specific to King Hekaton.

( Lyngheid is happy to take a few days. 3)
"No, not at all, burial won't make that more difficult. I appreciate that help, yes, follow me." And she shows you and Umbriel to the infirmary, where your healing magics and wound bandaging skills are much appreciated.

Make an Investigation check to see what you can find out about the giants, their war with the dragons and King Hekaton himself.
Three days are spent, and 15 gold for finding out info about where this coin may come from. Lodging and food is another 5 gold for the 3 days. Who is paying for that? At the end of the 3 days, someone make an Investigation check to see what you were able to find out about the coin.

(Who has the loot we grabbed?)

Baeshra can cover it from party funds and then assist someone with the investigations.
(this check is just for the research, I figured Baeshra's help will be more vital in figuring out what the gambling chip means)
