Sanjay Investigation: 8 

Sanjay sees no visible cracking on the egg, and it remains quite still.

You all continue to trek on, no sounds but the crunching of your feet through the snow.  Is there anything anyone wants to do while you walk?

Senine takes a drink from her flask, sighing and sniffing a bit at the chill in the air. "Anybody else find all of this... upsetting?" She says, making a vague gesture as if to emphasize the 'all of this'.

"Being cold?" Sanjay asks. "Because if you're talking about being cold, then, yes. I find it very upsetting."

Senine huffs a laugh, "That certainly is part of it." She shakes her head. "I just mean, I came out here hoping to help some people. Maybe find some time to relax and appreciate the view or something. This whole Frozen Woe thing is... I dunno. Just gotta soldier on I suppose, hope for the best." She adjusts her shield against her side and sighs.

"Turning into a popsicle is very upsetting," Thistle said. "I can't imagine what we may be facing if whatever or whoever has the ability to do this."

"These times may seem bleak, but finding the cure to this horrible Frozen Woe will make this all worth it." Alminar says. "And if scaring off a Yeti is any indication of how we fight as a team, whatever is waiting for us can prepare to die."

"Not worried about finding a cure so much as getting it back in time to save an innocent family." Senine frowns deeper with her words, her gaze seeming far away.

"Indeed," Sanjay agreed. "We just need to keep our focus on the goal. Lives depend on it."

"Now," he says after making sure both the egg and his backpack are settled comfortably, "Shall we continue on?" As he speaks, he holds out his hand, focusing intently for a few seconds, and casts druidcraft to look once again in an attempt to see what the weather will be like for the next 24 hours just to make sure nothing has changed and that no storms are on their way.

Sanjay sees a warm, bright yellow globe appear before his eyes as he concentrates.

You all continue walking for the next 5 hours, the sun slowly moving through the grayness of the sky.  On either side of your trail you see the occasional tree, but the sparse forest that had been near Thin-Sheets is long gone.  Instead, you have small mountain peaks to your right and rolling, snowy hills to your left. There is very little sound except for the occasional, what you assume is, small animal movement, your own feet moving through the snow and breathing, and now and then what seems like birds passing by.  It is starting to grow later, and colder.

"I think we should maybe find a safe place to make camp," Sanjay suggests.

"I think that's a great idea," Thistle agrees through chattering teeth.

"Agreed" Says Alminar. "Refreshing as it was to have a peaceful day of walking, it would be best to set up for a rest."

Senine just grunts a bit in acknowledgement, keeping her eyes open for a good place to set up.

Sanjay will assist, if allowed, in order to give Senine advantage.

Thistle will also look around for a location.

With the combination of survival skills from Thistle and Senine, the group manages to find a slightly obscured indenture in the side of a hill.  Though from the direct front you are immediately noticeable, you are comfortably hidden from the back and sides.
Does anyone want to do watch rotations?

Sanjay will offer to take one rotation.

Senine will as well, preferably first watch if possible.

Alminar will take a shift as well. "The more rotations, the shorter the shifts." Says Alminar
