Haha fantasteek! That's the last foe down. Easy peasy. You do, however, notice as you're all cleaning yourselves up, that one pig is especially small and malnourished among the other pigs. Taeli, wincing at how dirty she is since she took a massive tumble, picks up Obsidian among the mess of pigs and dead undead. "You are one unusual cat, how brave you were to run into the fray."she gives Obsidian another look over, trying to figure him out. "It's like you can almost understand what i'm saying when I talk to you. It's very dangerous in here you could get yourself hurt - or worse! Killed!"
"Odd."Shalendra notices. "This little pig is..different..than the rest."
"Yes, I noticed that too."Taeli said, looking at it. "It's temperament is also a bit different than the other pigs. Strange."
Other than that, Taeli kept Obsidian on her shoulder and paid no more mind to the little pig. There was nothing of interest in this room other than a horrible farm smell, dead undead, and lots of annoyed pigs.
(Check out the pinned map in Discord for the next area.)
Twelve skeletons are here, with a wight and a deathlock wight overseeing them. Eight work to the east, stacking butchered pigs along the wall. To the west, four more work at a sluice that carries offal toward an otyugh chained to the floor (The otyugh can move 40 feet from the northeast corner, anywhere within the area described by the dashed line on the map.)
The Otyugh sees you all enter first, and with a childlike tone, whines "FOOD. MORE FOOD! HUNGRY!"
The undead, at the moment, don't seem to notice you, busy chopping up pig and keeping the otyugh fed, for some reason.
Kobe! The otyugh opens wide, engulfs the pig in one gulp, chews once, and the otyugh explodes in the most violent way with a deafening bang, covering the whole room with organs and bodily matter - even to the walls. Other than you all, there’s now nothing left alive in this room, and you all are a complete mess.
"Ucchh, what in the world..?"Taeli said, coming up from a crouching position with her shield up. Making sure Obsidian was ok, she looked around. "Well, that's one way to get new wallpaper."
This room appears to be a hatching pen. Relief carvings of angelic figures along the walls of this huge hall contrast with the crowded iron cages here. Half of these cells are packed with miniature, shrieking versions of deadly monsters. A Red Wizard transmuter oversees two Thayan apprentices in caring for the imprisoned hatchlings, while four Thayan warriors stand guard in the room. Half the cages here are empty. The others hold the following young monsters: one remorhaz, two basilisks, five darkmantles, five ettercaps, two carrion crawlers, one behir, two hook horrors, and one wyvern.
"What was that explosion? Did you hear som- Ohhhhh, shit." The Red Wizard moans. "Intruders! Stop! I'll release these vile creatures should you take one step forward. Who are you, and what are you doing here?!"
Kit doesn't step forward (yet) since they've been informed that baby monstergeddon will happen if they do, but she spreads her hands calmly. "Hey, no need for that. Especially since if you do, they'll probably kill you too. We're mercenaries, you guys hired us to come shore up some defenses here? Didn't they tell you we were going to be passing through? Apparently you've had a couple incidents with adventurers lately."
The Red Wizard considers this for a moment. She looks at the apprentices and warriors for confirmation, but eventually they all take a moment and shrug in ignorance.
"I've heard of no such thing about mercenaries." the Red Wizard blurts out. "But, yes, we have had trouble with meddlesome adventurers lately - killing US and not dealing with the REAL threat..like Szass Tam, that arrogant fool." The apprentices and warriors glance at her suspiciously. "Oh, don't give me those looks, I know our allegiances to him are less than resolute!" They look at the ground, ashamed. "At any rate, we're busy here. Go away."
Kit nods. "Oh absolutely, those adventurers sound like the worst, and we'll leave you guys to your work. C'mon, we've got to go set up that post," she says to the other Order members, leading them right past the wizards and into Room 23.
When you enter this room, you see dead and blackened thorny vines covering the walls and floor, which are peppered with small, circular holes the size of a human fist. Seven zombies are here tending to the garden.
"Mmmmmmmpasswoorrddddd..." one of the rumbles holding up a hand, as if to get your attention and allow you free passage once the word is spoken.
Since you guys don't know the password, a successful DC 15 Charisma (Deception, Intimidation, or Persuasion) check can be made to wiggle your way out of this situation.

Mongo stumbles to the head of the group, acting as if he's drunk, with the strange new cat sitting on his wide shoulder (Helping). Mumbling back at the zombie, he responds "MmmmmmmXyfdDOfanAodFnapsmf" in a muffled voice (Persuasion: 14).
He then continues walking through the room, acting as if he just correctly gave the password and is intent on getting to his next post on time, and can't be bothered by the silly zombie.

Kit crosses her arms. "Yup, we've got the password," she says confidently. "It's...Blood," she continues, hoping her confidence is enough to trick the zombies.

Obsidian flicks his tail dismissively, purring as Taeli picks him up.
Kit frowns and brushes some dirt off her clothes. "That was exciting. Let's search the room and move on."

"Why are the undead feeding such a hideous creature pig?" Taeli wondered. "At any rate, it's noticed us, that's for sure."
