"Huzzah!" Amelia hoots before falling back on her butt for a much needed rest.

Mongo high-fives everyone, before shutting down into Sentry Mode to stand watch while everyone rests.

AREA 66 - THE BLACK ELDER

In the brilliant light shed by the white pillar at the center of this cavern, a pool of mottled black liquid gleams. The white pillar fills this area with bright light. Silvery calm water forms this highly reflective, 1-foot-deep pool.

Rosamia will throw another one of her monk darts into the black liquid, to stir it up if it's an ooze.

Mongo: “I’m guessing this room is a repeat of the previous room?  Hey John Lee, do you have any guano left to make one of you boom-boom-fireball explosions?”

"Yes, but at least wait for the big ooze monster to show up first."

The water ripples at the impact of the dart in a normal way that could be explained with physics.

"You wanna go check that pool out, big guy?" John Lee says to Mongo.

Mongo peeks his head into the room from the safety of the adjacent room, and tries to see if he can see the ooze that must be here (Perception: 10).

You can't see anything from that vantage point.

Mongo will trudge back into one of the previous rooms, grab a body of the recently exterminated deceased, and then return back to the entryway to area 66.  He'll then throw the body into the room, and step back out, waiting to see what happens.

Rosamia will walk into the room so that she's 10 feet away from the pool, which is coincidentally the exact range of her Astral Arms and then command her Astral Arms to start punching the water.

Amelia watches amused at Mongo throwing a dead body in the water, followed along with a snort when Rosamia starts punching it like a mad lad. She does this all at a safe distance. Just in case.

"Something funny, Hiriart?" Rosamia says in between rapid-fire ORAs and punches.

“Snnnrk—“ Amelia covers her mouth to try and surprise her laughing. “N-nope! You just—pffb— show that water whose boss!” 

Kit rolls her eyes, smiling faintly. "Okay, we're all friends here. If the water proves normal for the next thirty seconds, we're moving on." She shoots a few arrows in it as well to be sure.

The water does indeed act in a normal manner. Taeli, on the other hand, finds the situation amusing as Mongo tosses a body into the room and Rosamia punches the water from a short distance. She smiled, wanting to laugh, but decides against making a joke.

"Well that was a ******* waste. Let's go."

AREA 63 - THE SPAWN VATS

This enormous chamber of gray stone is filled with square vats made of the same material. At the center of the chamber, a great fountain spews black liquid that lands in a wide stone pool. Trenches cut into the floor run from the fountain bowl to the vats. The eastern wall of the chamber is partly covered by a long black curtain.

Two deathlock wights and four skeletons move among the vats, using ooze prods to poke the mixtures.

Mongo will peek into the room, and focus on the long black curtain - any insight as to what might be behind it?  Any movement?  Can he see feet poking around under it, for an army hiding in wait to spring a trap?  Any machinery or equipment perhaps hidden?  etc.
