Balassar looks around at the progress being made, refocusing on the enemy in front of him as he smirks "Seems you're out numbered." he says swinging at the warrior.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Balassar, your weapon hits but does very little damage.
Horse 1 tries to strike back against you:
Attack: 17 Damage: 13 minus 4 for Bane.
Another miss, by a mile.
Wash, Art starts wriggling. Let me free. Please. I don't want to die. But he seems too far gone into shock to make an actual attempt to free himself, he's just panicking and struggling aimlessly.
Alton will move five feet to the right and fifteen feet up to be lined up with skeleton horse 1. Though he isn't sure how well this will hit a skeleton, he will take a shot with his crossbow.
Attack: 16Damage: 5 Piercing

Be excellent to each other, and roll for initiative dudes!
With another impressive swing, Silent takes advantage of Auspex's bothering the horse to cleave the creature in two. Bits of bone and decayed flesh go flying in all directions.
Alton, you aim at Horse 2, as Horse 1 is already dead, and the arrow hits, splintering one bone in its neck and seemingly causing some pain.
Surrounded, alone and with all the riders dead, Horse 2 seems to panic. It tries to flee, and the surrounding guards take their Opportunity Attacks:
The sun is setting, and the shadows of the trees are long on the ground. Around you, you see the scattered mess of six undead creatures, now destroyed and unmoving.
On the floor before Wash cowers the bloody and restrained half-elf called Art, who makes no further attempt to move or speak.
Staring at the carnage, and then at you, are six Crownsguard, four regular troops and two apparent officers. They seem shocked at what they have seen, and no-one seems eager to speak first; the guards look at their officers, but the pause is getting lengthier...
Silent has stabbed the point of his sword into the ground and is leaning on it breathing heavily. He points at the little dragon flying around and in an attempt to break the silence says, Nice bird you got there, Dr. Wash. Does he breathe fire?
Balassar just sheaths his sword looking to Silent "Interesting fighting style...very rare to see this side of the mountains." he says turning his attention to the crowns guard "Yeah just wait for it to flee and leave the fighting to us...took you long enough to show up. Thanks for the help though."
Silent [...] Nice bird you got there, Dr. Wash. Does he breathe fire?
Wash responds to Silent "To be honest, I don't know. You can ask them - their name is Trogdor and they can communicate... in a way. Up until this fight I didn't know they could do a number of things that I just witnessed." He turns to Trogdor and says "I am very impressed, it seems that not only are you smarter than me, but you might be better in a fight than me too."
Wash then takes out his healer kit and heals Art 10 hp ("plus additional HP equal to the creature's maximum number of Hit Dice" - I don't know how many hit dice Art has) and heals Alton 9 hp. [I've deducted two uses from one of Wash's healing kits, so no need to deduct a use from the one I gave Alton.]
Wash also asks if anyone else needs their wounds attended to, including the newly arrived Crownsguard.
[OOC: Although Trogdor is Wash's Pact of Chain familiar, Wash does not have full control over them (yet?), hence not having full control or knowledge of Trogdor's abilities yet either. They were introduced just before Wash went the Pact of Chain path. Wash doesn't even know that Trogdor can be re-summoned if killed, so this battle could have ended with Wash in tears quite easily.
As a player, I'm particularly looking forward to learning about being able to change Trogdor's form.
Also apologies for Wash's inability to hit anything with his eldritch blasts. ]
Silent grins at Magnum and gives him a thumbs-up. Not a scratch on me somehow. Guess those creepy fellas liked half-elves even less than us, eh? Spent all their energy hacking up Art, the poor sod.
(OOC: Silent is attempting to keep his manner light and jovial but is inwardly sweating bullets in the presence of the Crownsguard and these new allies who have witnessed him summon an Echo.)
Magnum looks up in surprise at Wash. Oh, I'm terribly sorry. Did I misspeak? Auspex isn't in his truest form. This owl is just a shape he assumes when he answers my summons and works for me. This is the most common variety of familiar as far as I'm aware.

Balassar is up.
Balassar looks around at the progress being made, refocusing on the enemy in front of him as he smirks "Seems you're out numbered." he says swinging at the warrior.
OOC:
Attack: 24 Damage: 5

Wash, Magnum and Trogdor are up.
Magnum hits Horse 3 with his Thunder Gauntlets.
Attack: 16 Damage: 5
Wash will release a heavenly blast at Warrior 2: Attack: 9 Damage: 5.
Trogdor will try to assist the next person that hits Warrior 2 by flying in to distract the creature (help action for advantage).
[Wash's aim has been wonky all fight for some reason.]
Horse 3 seems to crack down the centre, two halves splitting and collapsing dead to the ground.
Wash's bolt of energy flies off into the dusk sky and dissipates.
Trogdor flies over to flutter above Warrior 2, tail swishing in the air and seeming to attempt to poke the undead at awkward angles.
Wraith 2 disengages and moves up to Art, skirting round the menacing and deadly Silent as he does so.
The four guards attack:
Crown 1 against Horse 1: Attack: 10 Damage: 7
Crown 2 against Horse 2: Attack: 19 Damage: 6
Crown 3 against Horse 2: Attack: 8 Damage: 3
Crown 4 against Warrior 2 (after chasing him) Attack: 14 Damage: 7 (Trogdor is out of range)
Some hits, some misses, but these are not heavy hitters. They're helping, but you don't think they will make too much of a difference in the fight.
The two captains, on the other hand, wield swords with the confidence of experienced fighters:
Captain 1 attacks Horse 2 with an official-looking longsword:
Attack: 16 Damage: 8
Attack: 10 Damage: 6
Captain 2 attacks Warrior 2, racing up from behind with the guard at their side and flanking with Wash:
Attack: 23 Damage: 10
Attack: 22 Damage: 9
And with that, Warrior 2, the gruesome undead creature is finally laid to rest.
Silent, Alton and Auspex are up. Only two skeletal horses remain.

Auspex uses flyby on Horse 1 to Help.
Silent runs over to Horse 1 and aims a slice at one of its rear legs.
Attack 27 Damage: 23
Extra d6 damage for Savage Attacks: 3
Alton will move five feet to the right and fifteen feet up to be lined up with skeleton horse 1. Though he isn't sure how well this will hit a skeleton, he will take a shot with his crossbow.
Attack: 16 Damage: 5 Piercing

As Magnum took no damage, he looks to Silent to make sure he's okay. You alright?
He also calls Auspex back to him.
Dear little bird, if you weren't a celestial creature clothed in feathers I would reward you with many voles.
Silent grins at Magnum and gives him a thumbs-up. Not a scratch on me somehow. Guess those creepy fellas liked half-elves even less than us, eh? Spent all their energy hacking up Art, the poor sod.

Wash looks surprised when Magnum says this, and asks "A celestial creature? What? How?"
