You enter the plaza area and look for stores that might sell books, but the crowd is too large and you struggle to see any store names. You get pushed around for a few moments and, in that time, you accidentally bump into a metallic body. “Oh. Hello there.”
"Oh gods."She jumps away at the feeling of cold metal and tries to regain her composure. Eying the construct, she pushes the idea to just walk away out of her head and stays put. Perhaps this was just a common thing to happen in this town, after all. "...hello."
"Oh..." She looks around the plaza. "Just a bookstore. I've been a bit starved for books lately. Although...maybe it was a bit stupid to come here, on second thought."
She ponders about it for a minute. "If you can show me a secret bookstore, sure." Falling into step next to the construct, she keeps an eye out for anyone that might seem familiar to her. "Tell me, I've never seen anything like this before, is this a kind of magical disguise you're using?"
“Yes. I just made a new friend who would be interested in meeting him.”You look around but the crowd still kind of pushes you around. You don’t lose sight of the construct because of how tall he is. “There he is. Do you want to meet him too?”
"Sure, should I know anything about him beforehand?" She searches for Tary in the crowd, not sure what to look for and brushes a few strands of hair out of her face.
“Oh thank you. I’ve been working on Doty here for a very long time. This is..what, 7.0? No wait, 8.0. He’s a bit overly friendly, but I sorted out the rest of the personality kinks. What is your name?”
"Zoya. He mentioned he was looking for someone, so I thought I might help. I find it's easy to find something specific when nothing is familiar to you."
"Very new. I'm only passing through and have been staying in an inn for the past few days." She pats the violin on her back and smiles. "I have yet to find work that lets me continue my travels."

“There’s a lot of shops that way.” He points to a pathway between two buildings. As soon as you look at where he’s pointing, he gets up and runs off.
Zoya looks at the pathway, thinks of what little money she has and considers returning to the inn.
Can't hurt to look. She tries to cover the spellbook with her cloak and moves in the direction of the shops.

“The plaza is awfully crowded today, isn’t it? Do you need help finding something?”

“No, this is my true form. I am a construct built by Taryon Darrington. Do you know who that is?”

"Uh, no, I don't think so. It looks like he's very skilled, though. Are you looking for him now?"

“Yes. I just made a new friend who would be interested in meeting him.” You look around but the crowd still kind of pushes you around. You don’t lose sight of the construct because of how tall he is. “There he is. Do you want to meet him too?”

“Not really. He’s a little excitable at ti—oh there he is!” He quickly waves to an old man you can see about 20ft from you.
She waves as well and puts on a smile before stepping towards him. "Hello, I met your friend, he's very impressive," she says and extends a hand.
Taryon chuckles at your comment. “Fair enough. Are you new to Deastok?”
"Very new. I'm only passing through and have been staying in an inn for the past few days." She pats the violin on her back and smiles. "I have yet to find work that lets me continue my travels."
