Trying to play for time so that hopefully they can get the info they need from Tarina and maybe even get out of the tavern Alucard plays up his role as a simple slightly drunk bard in his cups worrying over theses new guest. "A thief eehh shame women can be so treacherous broke your heart and stole from ya tis a shame. I do not blame ya for trying to hunt this thief down but knowing thief's i bet what ever has been taken from ya is garenteed to be sold off to shop some where. Ya know I know some peopls arund town that might know ya thiefs location. My good friend Durgess has a nack for finding people ud be amazed at his skills. He lives not but a few door down from here n should be home if ya wanna meet him." 

7: Deception

"Deal." Elvira agreed. There was a brief pause, as she scratched her chin in thought. "I can in theory distract the man in question, but not sure for how long. Fin, could you help slip her out of the bar? Keep yourself between Tarina and the crowd. Unless you have a plan?"

Jagger feels the tension grow, he unlatches his sword holsters, and grabs the hilts.

(Not sure if I need to roll these or not. Disregard if not needed.)

He scans the group for the most dangerous threat, and the weakest. Perception: 8

The more Alucard talks the more he can feel the captain slip from his grasp. He ends his monologue and he knows that he lost the pirate's attention. 

Roll initiative all a'd add where you are currently.

Those of you who said they were preparing or such can roll with advantage

(Jagger is standing near the door, behind the pirates.)

Expertly drawing both short swords, Jagger readies himself for a fight, holding both blades crossed in front of him in a defensive posture.

((Assuming we all need to roll. Elvira's still upstairs, close to Tarina))

Seeing a glint of recognition transition in the captains eye Alucard just goes "Well shit." 

"Well at least this wont be boring." Amea smiles as she draws her shortsword "Oi, meat head, still wanna say youre looking for someone?"
(Amea is where she talked to the captain at.)
Initiative: 16

Begger is still standing behind the pirates, next to Jagger. He pulls his shield from his back, dusting off the rising sun symbol on it. "Come friends, it's time to repent of your sins and allow Lathander to give you a new beginning."

Drawing his flail next Begger continues to speak calmly to the pirates. "You've already let this loss cause you pain. Don't let it lead you to more pain. Let it go, friend. Let Lathander give you a new outlook on life."

You can all move since the men and the captain are after all of you. 

Begger the captain nods sadly to you but he says, " Sorry my friend, but my goddess would never allow me to not to seek retribution."  He takes his weapon out and bows. He goes against another foe. 

Amea will go to stab the captain with her short sword

Jagger calls out to the paladin with a nod and a shout. "Together!" He rushes the nearest pirate with a ferocious growl, short-swords extended.

Attack one: (Main hand) Attack: 24 Damage: 8

Attack two: (Bonus action) Attack: 12 Damage: 1

Since the captain and his men had sat beside him at the bar Alucard sighs heavily as the captain draws his blade and draws his own long thin rapier from its sheath, but seeing the bad positioning quickly jumps back out of range moving towards the far corner of the tavern and as he backs away he looks to Begger "Lathander is strong, cunning, and wise! Assist this fellow with his demise!"

Action: Disengage

Bonus Action: Inspire Begger

Movement: As far across the bar as I can get being surrounded by a Captain and seven pirates dose not sound fun. 

Begger nods and lunges forward with Jagger, flail flying out to strike at the same pirate.

Attack: 12 Damage: 9

Elvira headed towards the stairs, and starts to hear the scuffle downstairs. She palmed one of her daggers, pausing on the stairs to call up, "Looks like a distraction has happened on its own. Might want to hurry up!"

(She'll hold an attack action for if any of the pirates come their away. If it happens, here's the rolls. Attack: 23 Damage: 7)

Fin

With the commotion downstairs he grabs Tarina by the arm and follows Elvira dow the steps. "Do me a favour Elvira, when we get downstairs walk towards the captain talking loudly and making a scene. I'll sneak Tarina out the front door during your ruse." He tells Tarina to stay low and move fast when they get to the ground floor.

Fin and Elvira walk down the stairs close and guarding Tarina between them. As a salor sees them he starts moving toward the stairs but stumbles backward clawing at the dagger lodged in his throat.

Begger and Jagger rush the offenders, Begger dropping one surely helped by the inspirational words of his allie and Jagger manages to spill blood but doesn't bring his foe down.

Near the center of the tavern the Captain takes a blade in his side and grunts. Amea's strike has pearced through his armor. 

In the back both bounczrs drop a sailor, using brute force. 

The captain smiles a bloody smile, red foam spilling out and lunges at his attacker with his own blade. Attack: 14 Damage: 5

The sailor fignring with Jagger strikes at him:17 Damage: 7

The last one goes for Alucard but is impeded by the fleeing crowd.

(OOC: round 2 you may all move. Elvira will need to make the roll. Not you Fin. Social skill to attract attention.)

Amea pulls a dagger out and grits her teeth "Hasnt anyone ever told you its rude to hit a girl?"
Amea lunges at the captain again

"If anyone wants to help me out that is much appreciated!" A small line of blood spills out of Amea's mouth and she stands ready for the captain to swing back

Jagger grunts, one hand goes to stench the blood, while the other lashes out a brutal strike to the abdomen. "You'll have to try harder than that scum!"

Attack: 24 Damage: 4

Bonus: Removing his hand from his wound, he slashes at his opponent's leg: Attack: 21 Damage: 3

(Not too bad!)

Alucard now out of arms reach lunches a gray bolt of energy that originates from his torso crackling down his arm to his hand coalescing into a ball and launching towards the Captain. Figuring if the Captain were to fall the others would be much less inclined to continue this conflict especially with the bar bouncers stepping in as well. Seeing Elvira at the foot of the stairs he calls out "Dear Lady I say your timings divine! Care to join us in dispensing with swine!"

Movement: Keeping out of range of the pirate but having a clear view of both Amea and Jagger
