(What happened with the prisoners? Are they with us or going separately?)
Taviel was moving quietly and quickly, from time to time turning to look at the camp behind. She could not see well in the darkness anyway, and relied on others to keep direction.
How far are you going? I am going to say you will need to start making exhaustion rolls as you leave the battle site where you gathered together. it is already getting into night and you have been traveling all day.
Exhausted or not, the army chasing you, one can move for a long time. Taviel will walk as long as she can. If you allow to send Nissa ahead with command "Find Nodwick", then Taviel will do that in hope that snake can fly fast and bring back her helper.

Didn’t we send him back to town with the monk’s friend?
I'd say the small dragon can be back by now. I'd say the servant can be close enough to be reached by telepathy.
You press on, the sounds of searching bands still behind you at some distance. You hear a commotion at some distance and guess that at least one of the prisoners has been recaptured.
After an hour of travel you come up to where the servant is waiting with the wagon. He looks as tired as you, having traveled as much as you have. The horses look worse for wear as well.
It is now nearing midnight. The sounds behind you have grown even more distant by this point. It seems they have given up the chase.
More than a little worn out at this point, Germain will get the monk into the wagon and work on unshipping the horses from the harness to allow them to rest and graze a little, tying them to the wagon by a length of rope, "I suggest we get some rest while we can, we won't get far if we collapse. And won't be any good in a fight if they catch us."
Toc nods, "I'll take first watch while you rest." He sits down, summoning his bat. His bat flies about for the next couple hours while he sits and meditates.

(Out of curiosity - how far are we from the city?)
Dead tired Taviel did not have enough strength to wish good night to everyone. With Nodwick's help she organized a sleeping spot in the wagon and fall asleep almost instantly.
(If nobody wakes Taviel for the last shift - she will not wake up on her own. All that walking, talking, posing and fighting completely exhausted the girl).
Valen simply falls to the ground and is sleeping as the others work out watch arrangements. He would be quite upset at himself for this in the morning, and would vow to always do a watch going forward.
Luckily for everyone, the night passes uneventfully, predators in the area staying put with such a large force not-so-far-away.
You all wake up in the morning, after finding that only the first watch was really kept anyway, since Naroth fell asleep on his watch and did not wake the others for theirs.
The trip to town only takes half a day from here, and you are able to reach there just before midday. The monk is looking much better after resting the night.

Naroth will be the last in the group as they continue their march to Greenest and will constantly be on the look out for anything following them.

I thought you guys sent them off on their own. I guess the question is if we run into them along our way or not...since we're all headed the same way.

More like who the army will chase (first) - us or them if we are not together.

((This is why snake is sent for him ahead, in hope, that now he will come to meet us. We all are coming back to Greenest, aren't we? ))
Actually, in the post 120 https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/play-by-post/63050-dragondenns-tyranny-of-dragons?comment=120 I did say that Nodwick was supposed to return to us. Can he be somewhere closer to us by this time? We have a telepathic bond 1 mile radius.
