((Wow, it's even better! Jeremy Crawford declared each MM as a separate source of damage! Raises interesting questions about Death saves, but Bushes have no chance to maintain their charm. Bush 2 failed anyway and Bernard with Leon are immune now, but Bush 1 need more saves: 6))
Ramious had snapped from his fascination with the seaweed and can post-factum attack his - still clinging to him, though - watermonster.
Bush1 and Ramious now were hugging each other under water, while Bernard's arrows almost decimated what remained of Bush2 after A's magic. "Almost" still made difference, though, there were still a few leaves, that the bush wrapped around itself.
It was hard to swing the big weapon under the water with the soft moving with water opponent, entangled with the friend. Leon missed this time.
Meanwhile, Bush2 lowered itself under the water surface as well, and swam toward the fighting pair. Leon felt the slaps of leaves across his armor:
B2 vs Leon: Attack: 7 Damage: 10
Attack: 7 Damage: 7
Now it was Ramious's turn of seaweed chopping.
Round 3
Ramious, Alyssa.
Both plants are under water now. Technically, underwater combat rules should apply - disadvantage on the attack for range weapon even from the land. Practically, you are not suppose to see them, meaning, no targeting magic.
Ramious did not get so far the first time he dropped into the water and now managed to get himself and the bush (thoroughly trimmed by now) onto the edge of the pool. Holy light from A's hand's burned a few more leaves of the water monster. It tried to free itself from Ramious hold and crawl back to the water: 7
In vain, of course (no monster so far managed to crawl away from the tiefling) and had to settle with the scary (or scared?) hissing.
Bernard and Leon!
Bush 1 is on the open outside of the pool, bush 2 is attacking Leon underwater.
Two more arrows entangled in the wet leaves. Though it had an impression as if Bernard was doing target practice, Ramious could attest the effectiveness of the shooting - the plant in tiefling's hands was squirming and hissing. But did not die, not yet.
Leon was less lucky - the water allowed to brief (thanks to the spell) but was not made for fighting, not for him at least. Bush2 tried to attack back:
B2 vs Leon: Attack: 12 Damage: 16
Attack: 11 Damage: 9
With as much luck - cut and burned plant was not much of a fighter.
Bush 1 jerked when the Flame touched it 22 and the silvery light dissipated in the water dripping from it. It was up to Ramious now to may be finish the slippery vegetation.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Just like the arrows rapier pierced the wet leaves and branches through, with green "blood" staining magical steel, but the bush was still trembling and made moves as if trying to attack despite its sorrow state.
B1 vs Ramious: Attack: 22 Damage: 7
Attack: 9 Damage: 14
One attack was even surprisingly strong (unless Ramious can do something about it)
That did it - the last arrow from Bernard found the "brain" or may be the "heart" of the creature, it shuddered, and a moment later Ramious had in his hands nothing more but a heap of long wet leaves with arrows sticking out of it.
A's help now was needed with still alive (judging by the fact Leon was still underwater and motion of said water indicating the battle) second bush.

A would adjust their positioning to get a decent look at the bush wrestling with Leon in the water. They'd call upon yet another sacred flame in hopes to shake a few leaves loose.
If both of Bernard's arrows had hit then wouldn't it need two saves one for each arrow?
Will save 22
Bernard feels something tingle at the edge of his consciousness but pays it no mind. He just keeps putting arrows into the bush thing.
Attack: 12 Damage: 16
Attack: 19 Damage: 21

Ramious attempts to free himself from the bush's hold...so that he can drag the thing back towards some dry land so his friends can kill it.
17 Grapple check DC 12 to escape I think?
He then moves, 30 feet, dragging the bush with him...not sure if that gets him to "dry land" as it were.
As he emerges from the water he yells, "Hey guys, look what I found under the water!"
