Ramious, having calmed down, keeps his eyes closed but snorts, “Good guess. Maybe a mummy that walks on his hands though.” He takes another deep breath then looks around and opens his eyes. “An older sergeant I knew used to do that after every fight. Claimed it really sorted him out. Thought I’d try it.” He thinks for a moment then shrugs. “Good work folks.”

What's the difference between a Wizard and a Sorcerer? Class.
One thing Leon could say for sure - Wave loved praising. A feeling of pride and satisfaction answered his words but the question somewhat ruined the mood - the trident had to admit it did not know something. "I am not aware of inhabitants of other rooms,"finally said the weapon in Leon's mind.
It was like watching fresh paint drying - long, slow, silent. The only entertainment the group had was self-bandaging (though only Bernard seemed to do it), and watching the scorpions to move around when one was close enough to the glass. Alyssa, who was taking notes and drawing pictures, could notice an interesting thing while the level of water was going down: the door you were after, remained absolutely dry. Even more - it looked as if the door was covered with protective glass or something similar, that prevented the water to flood the room behind.
The effect became particularly obvious when the water level dropped to barely four feet.

Alyssa SR: 16
Alyssa's head would nod a little to the side when Bernard would throw out the mummy idea. There have been evidence of undead here, so it could be very possible. Then again, there's been a wide range of different creatures greeting them at every door. The elf would find rest in listening to the others while taking down her observations from where she was perched. What other Keraptis trap was awaiting them?
Eventually when Ramious would rise to examine the door, the archaeologist would stand to aid in a physical sweep around the room with her hand against the wall. She'd feel for any changes as she went. She wondered if there was anything different from one end to the other, methodically from north to south. "Leon, detect any thing magical from the door?Does it seem dry to any of you?"
Ramious could not reach the door - the invisible barrier, dense and elastic that felt on touch like an oiled glass, did not allow him to get to it. The barrier does emanate some magic but even without it, you would recognize the wall of force.
Alyssa, after careful examination, found that the water slowly drains out of four small drains in the corners of the bottom room. There is nothing special there besides the bones of some animals (and humanoids) most likely the food for now-dead manticores.
Keraptis chose this moment to intervene again. "Nah, a simple precaution. Was thinking to keep the lower part underwater - just for fun - but not flooding the room behind, obviously. Not right away, I mean. The wall will be gone with the water."
Indeed, once the water was gone leaving behind only puddles, the transparent barrier disappeared as well. Behind it, the door did not seem trapped and Keraptis said so immediately. "Just push to open. Nothing scary in there, believe me. The surprise is further down the corridor."
There truly was a corridor behind the door - 40ft of smooth stone walls - with yet another door at the end. An ideal water grave, should aquariums be broken right now. But Keraptis did not even mention the possibility. "Open it, open! And meet the very answer to my riddle! (That you obviously did not solve, did you? I thought as much)" "Well? You do want to find the last weapon, do you not? Then open up!"
There is enough space in front of the door for two standing together (the corridor is 10ft x 40ft). The door does not look trapped and can be pushed open. Who is doing it?
"Seriously? No dramatic smash-openings? You are ruining the moment!" Keraptis sounded honestly offended by the sudden cautions. "Fine! Whatever." He made a sulking pause but soon continued. "Now, if you dare to peek inside and is not too scared to open that door a little bit wider, you will see my other guests, that were waiting for you for ages! (I am exaggerating a bit but you got the point)"
In the narrow opening, you could see a room - relatively big, well lit, with the long table or pedestal in the middle and a man in the full plate armor standing right in front of it and looking in the space before him with a completely blank facial expression. In fact, he could be taken for a statue or a mannequin if not for the colors and too natural features.
"Let me present you Sir Bluto Sans Pite and his squires! I call him "Buckethead" - came here with the helmet and all. Thought of himself as some kind of holy crusader or something. Remember my riddle? I thought to add something about "righteous wroth" but thought it will be too obvious. Anyway, that "holy knight" begun with the most hilarious opening about purging evil. It was so funny, that I left it to him ... you know... after we were done. Now he and his little army are guarding your so desired weapon."
"Hehehe" "I will enjoy your fighting. You may begin."
The knight is about 8ft from the doors. The room is 30ft deep though you do not see how wide. There are certainly more people in there, but no sound, no motions. The will be no surprise round here, but you all may act first.

Ramious looks back at the others, "Alright, let's make this quick then....you guys ready?"
When the others indicate they're ready, Ramious lets a deep growl grow from within himself...finding the seed of rage that always sits there....waiting to be unleashed. And unleashed it is. He rushes into the room, throwing the door open, and leaps at "bucket head" attempting to grab him.

Sir Bluto (SB) Athletic: 11
Ramious was concentrating on the assault, of course, but had time to access the surroundings as well. And now, when the doors were fully opened, everyone could see it too.
The room is about 30ft x 50ft, the huge table, that occupies the middle of the room, is almost 10ft long, and in the middle of it, on the blood-red velvet tablecloth, lies the great sword, deep black color, shining like a piece of night sky filled with stars. Around it, four nights in addition to Sir Bluto, are keeping endless guard.
Sir Bluto shrugged Ramious's attack with some effort but firmly. "You are the force of evil!" Declared the knight. "You must be purged!"
"What did I say? Hillarious!" That was definitely Keraptis but he immediately went silent.

Bernard had just enough time for a short addition to the battlefield. The sticky silk threads covered the floor, part of the table, and three knights behind it. (Saves: K2 20, K3 16, K4 9)
One - to awaken to be caught - shook the web off, but the other two were properly wrapped up.
Alyssa eventually steps into the room. With a hand raised, palm out, she’d chance choosing to put her faith in light instead of fire for this one, releasing a bolt towards Sir Bluto.

Alyssa quietly begins to hum a melancholy melody to herself as she’d make a few hand gestures. Her eyes cloud over white. Reaching out with a clawed hand towards shiny bucket head, she’d make a raking gesture with it, as if she were running it along something… his mind.
(SB save: 18, I'm afraid advantage last only until the end of Alyssa's turn, however, it had to be in areas of the Web, so save: 12 )
The invisible wave hit the knight, giving him a jolt but the armored man persisted and was ready to attack. The glow around his figure died out but it's not like anyone could lose sight of him anyway.
Sir Bluto clearly saw his target, causing so much pain already, but was glued to the spot. He jerked, trying to free his feet (22 ) and stepped out of the web-prison. Now he could purge two targets at once. Huge sword, fitting the armored monstrosity that the knight was, raised and fall trice but Alyssa got the first strike:
