i think most of us have dark vision. "well looks like there's a reason it's called a maze. We should stick together or form pairs at least, don't want to be getting lost in here."
"I don't know much about all this magical stuff, Professor, Shadow, can we mark the walls so we know where we've been?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
While this discussion is happening, I step through the door and begin studying the symbols on the walls. Like the stars in the sky, surely there are deeper patterns to be found in their chaos. "What's that? oh yes... mhmmm... together.... yes." I mutter without looking away from the walls. Arcana 22
The left passage you two notice, calling out to the others, that the corridor is just wide enough for two people, average humanoid side, to walk side by side but just barely. It makes another sharp corner to the right. Do you venture further?
Gauldring
The right passage is identical to the left.
Professor
The arcane runes make no sense to you, they just seem random.
Shadow
No footprint can be seen, in fact you and the others don't seem to leave a trace behind your footfalls!
Kohl
Cyric was oddly kind to you, probably not the best idea to ram anymore doors inside the maze.
Everyone
The air, although temperate like the dense forest, is becoming stale and close. What way does the group go? Do you split up?
Both passages have too sharp a corner to see around them as if the passages form a block "U" shape, you must go further to see down the corridors.
Gauldring
Geometric, Cyric, and arcane symbols carved into the stone walls of the maze that seems random in it's patterns.
Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Elly starts going down the left passage. "I'll be right back and tell you what I find."
i have dark vision but if it's too dark, I will cast light on my mace.
Elly- Gnome Cleric The Black Maze
"I'll go with you."
Zillah follows behind Elly weigh her dagger ready
Zillah Karai, Teifling Warlock (The Black Maze)
Elliot,teifling sorcerer/ Azriah, Changling Bard/ Freyr Rayn, Human Cleric (Order of the sleeping dragon)

"I have some chalk... once we choose a direction I'll draw arrows on the walls." Shadow enters the room and picks up the stick.
Looking at the floor, is there dust or is it swept clean? Any footprints?
"Going in pairs might get us killed, we might stand a better chance all together." I call out to the gnome and tiefling heading down the passage.
"The hero sought to save the world.
"If I keep trying, I'll be able to win," the hero thought.
But the harder the hero fought, the further the world seemed to tumble away.
Drowning in doubt, the hero could not even save themselves.
Hero, if you still believe in a brighter future, hold in your heart a thorn that can pierce all doubt."

"I agree with Kohl, a quick look around the corner only, when we decide on a direction go as a group.

I call out to Kohl, "I'm sure you'll hear us if we start dying from JUST AROUND THE CORNER."
Elly- Gnome Cleric The Black Maze
I raise my hands in the air in defense, "Sorry, sorry."

I follow the gnome and the Tiefling as well.

"Though I may not usually travel in a group, I think we should stay together for now."
(This will be my last post for tonight. Night!)
"Left it is". I begin drawing arrows pointing back to the door.
"the right path in this situation is the one on the left" i follow Kohl
Rip Dangerfield- Halfling Bard, Storm Kings Thunder (retired)
Matrix- Human Monk/fighter, Storm Kings Thunder
Zillah laughs a little hard at Gauldring'a statement
"...sorry"
embaressed, she quickly takes lead. She holds her dagger at her hip, and her other raised to cast a spell if needed.
Zillah Karai, Teifling Warlock (The Black Maze)
Elliot,teifling sorcerer/ Azriah, Changling Bard/ Freyr Rayn, Human Cleric (Order of the sleeping dragon)
{Just a DM note, why isn't the Rogue in front for like traps, checks, and skills just a thought.}
Everyone
Proceeding down the left corridor Elly and Zillah, on their guard, make the sharp right and are met with a dead end.
{Night guys... until tomorrow}

"Drat. Guess we go the other way then!"
Elly- Gnome Cleric The Black Maze
"Yes, the other way" Shadow gives Elly a friendly swat with his tail.
{Are my chalk arrows staying put?}
