Chazrael nods. "We can always come and save this family at another time. These ghosts may not want to leave this place."
“Quite right, I sense some unresolved family drama, as it were, or perhaps just the rebelliousness of youth stretched on beyond the grave,” Halec agrees. “No time to embroil ourselves in this squabble further while the region remains imperiled. Bring the shard, Anthony. We’re off, back to Central City to give them the shard we have and buy them some time, then we will follow the map Igna aided us in producing and seek out the next shard piece.”
I remain unmoved "We promised to help them, even criminals must stick to their word, whats a couple of hours to us in the whole realm of things, let's help them. If you want to carry on, you drunken fool, by all means, carry on, but i will not let them suffer any more, after all We promised to help them"

“I never promised the ghosts anything, Anthony, and I’m more concerned than the living than the dead right now,” Halec says. If that is your wish I will respect it. Hand me the shard fragment, so I can deliver it to Central City without delay.”
Halec nods, taking in the woman's words, at some point putting out his pen and parchment and actually taking written notes. "Err, yes, sounds like quite a task, m'lady, but a noble one. I and my -" Halec briefly looks sidelong and the frozen dwarf and the wrecked objects in the room "I will endeavor to free you and your family, and end the mansion's curse. I must ask, are you aware of a foreign object that may have entered this manor recently? A flying shard of Ruby-colored crystal? It is a powerful relic that shattered recently. Why, perhaps you remember it from your own time in life - the Ruby Snowflake?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC: It was not a jar the ghost was in, it was a large, glass container, like a cage)
Before you can exit the room, a purple barrier of cosmic force slams down to block the only exit, Halec hits the barrier and ends up dropping the piece. It starts to float into the air, and a massive, Redish-Purple specter appears with the shard in his hand, he lets out a loud, hyena-like laugh, exactly like the one you've been hearing throughout the mansion. He snaps his fingers, and the Ruby Snowflake dissapears.
The Cursed Spirit, Halec, Anthony, Chazrael, Ophiwalyn
The specter creates an orb of purple fire between his hands. He lays it there for a moment before launching it towards your party (everyone make a DC13 Dexterity saving throw or take 24 fire damage, half as much on a success, 0 on a nat. 20)
Halec begins with the Attack action, using Sharshooter for -5 to hit, +10 to damage with all attacks. As he is within 120 ft and ignores all but full cover he has no disadvantage. Attack action is 2 attacks due to Extra attack. I will do rolls and then apply Precision from Battlemaster or other battle master abilities as he would judge appropriate.
He will follow the attack action with the Bonus action attack from Crossbow Master, and then action surge for another attack action, for 5 attacks total.

"Indeed, and mine was to Central City," Halec says, taking the shard and heading back to the entrance of the mansion from whence they came.
