I walk out of the library waving to the Gnome as I leave, "Wonder which tavern well find them." I look around to see if there are any signs of the two or possibly a guard
So, you all leave the library, and as you go, the librarian says "Don't let any harm come to those books, or you'll pay to replace them."
Durk, after a few minutes, the humans on the stage finish their songs to loud and happy applause. They all bow and return to their seats, where they get congratulated by friends and strangers alike. "Ah, looks like this is your cue." Tall rings a large bell behind the bar, causing the whole place to go silent. "Ladies and gentlemen, we've got a new act in tonight to play some delightful tunes for us, a traveler. Please welcome to the stage, Mr. Durkannon!" A round of applause is given for you, and some people look around, trying to find you.
The street lanterns have come on now, since it's getting dark, creating a warm glow on the sidewalks. The streets and walkways themselves are still fairly active, with night goers and guards alike. They're very accessible, you can just walk up to any one you want.
Durk, the crowd cheers and applauds you and the last group, and you can clearly spot Talia by her bright violet eyes. She gives you a wink as she applauds.
I walk over to a guard and ask if they have seen a Teifling with a half elf around in any of the taverns and that the Teifling would have been carrying a lute
You all head to the tavern, opening the door to see Durk on stage, playing his lute while everyone sings along, enjoying it. It's a damn catchy song, too.
I sit awkwardly, disliking a packed and confined scene with so much noise and amuse myself by eyeing the room in an attempt to find some aniamls, a bird outside, or a mouse or rat hiding within the crowds feet.
"Sure thing, lets go and see Durk and Talia and catch up with the maidens tomorrow."

You pick up your lute and begin to play a jaunty, quick tune. Everyone quickly joins in, clapping to the beat and humming the melody.
The guard says "Haven't seen anyone matching the description. Might check The Sage and Candle, they always get a lot of performers."
"Thank you, may you point out which direction this is?"

You find a pretty large table close to the middle of the room with a few people at it, but enough seats for all of you.
Sitting at the table "Damn he is good isn't he? This song is brilliant, anyone drinking tonight?"
