Wow, ok. So, you both do fairly poor. Durk, you really don't have any clue how to hold or swing your weapon, and Sawin, you're so out of practice from travelling that you're making super easy blunders. After maybe an hour of this, talia comes back with two bags.
"Well, it's good to see you're training. I've got your outfits and a lead. Come on inside and get changed, then we'll talk."
I head inside after patting the bard on the back , Out of breath, and proceed to find a room to change but not before I thank Talia "Thank you, i'll make sure to reimburse you later on, perhaps treat you to a drink and some food"
Talia hands you both your respective bags and says to you Sawin "A meal would be fine. You seem like an interesting woman, I'd be interested to hear of any stories you might have."
Durk, your bag contains a common pair of breeches, a tunic, boots and a cloak, all of carrying shades of grey or black. Small brown pouches attached to a belt leave room for your adventuring gear.
Sawin, your armor looks similar to Talia's, brown leather chest armor, bracers and boots, with black clothes and cloak underneath. Your belt is also fitted with pouches for adventuring gear, as well as scabbards for your weapons.
(Sawin, you need to change the armor on your character sheet to leather armor, and Durk, you are now unarmored, if you weren't already)
You both change and Talia inspects you both, making slight adjustments where they'e needed, before saying, "Alright, you both look good. Now, I've found out from.... well, a pretty shady but reliable guy, where the thieves den is, and how to get in. Now, we have a story for Sawin, and I can easily pass for a thief. Even if I can't, a lot of people bring their "lady friends" with them, so that's my backup plan, Durk, if they don't think I'm a thief. But what's your cover going to be?"
Talia shrugs and says "Well, as long as you can lie convincingly if anyone asks you should be fine. I can back you up if you need it. We should wait until night fall, that's when it's most active, and when I was told to find the entrance. They don't trust people who come by day."
Nemm, you go back through the rain, and re-enter the quiet of the library. A lot more people are here today, and the rain on the large windows creates a peaceful drumming sound. Candles and lanterns are scattered around, creating warm pools of light in the otherwise dark library. It feels safe and secure here. The gnome is writing in his ledger again, muttering quietly to himself as he writes.
He looks up and says "Eh? Oh, you again. Give it here, let me see. I know almost all spoken and written languages common in the world today." He holds his hand out for the paper.
Almost immediately, he starts to frown. "This... this is written in Primordial... and the content of the letter... very disturbing.... why do you have this?" He looks at you very suspiciously.
"We, my party, found the letter on an Orc that had kidnapped some of the maidens the Progenitor had asked us to protect", "I couldn't read it and wanted to know if its anything important."

I change into the outfit and come out to meet Talia
Talia hands you both your respective bags and says to you Sawin "A meal would be fine. You seem like an interesting woman, I'd be interested to hear of any stories you might have."

(Awesome! =3)

"i could just act like im wanting to be a traffik some lovely bodies, as well as some more deproable acts, im sure that i look the part"
points to my horns
"these horns come in handy"
Talia shrugs and says "Well, as long as you can lie convincingly if anyone asks you should be fine. I can back you up if you need it. We should wait until night fall, that's when it's most active, and when I was told to find the entrance. They don't trust people who come by day."
"sounds like a good idea to me, i just hope that my persuasive skills are up to scratch"
Anything to add, Sawin?
(I dont think so no :c xD)
Ok, then we're gonna move on to Nemm for now.
I wave to the gnome and walk over "Hello again, by chance do you have something that might help me translate this." I show the paper to the gnome
He looks up and says "Eh? Oh, you again. Give it here, let me see. I know almost all spoken and written languages common in the world today." He holds his hand out for the paper.
I hand him the paper
Almost immediately, he starts to frown. "This... this is written in Primordial... and the content of the letter... very disturbing.... why do you have this?" He looks at you very suspiciously.
"We, my party, found the letter on an Orc that had kidnapped some of the maidens the Progenitor had asked us to protect", "I couldn't read it and wanted to know if its anything important."
He starts to mutter to himself, looking confused and a little concerned, referencing the letter every now and then.
