Macawi walks up to the half elf across the bar. "Hello dear, my name is Macawi Galu. How is this fine morning treating you? What services does this establishment offer?"
Journey will silently find a seat at a table, looking around the room nervously. He’ll quietly say, “One ale please,” and smile, waiting patiently for Tarina.
Overall, this seems like a pretty standard tavern. Although, you pick up on a few things that the others might have missed. The figure at the bar is a young elf commoner who clearly has a drinking problem. The suit of armor is definitely sentient and moving around. The two bar hands clearly work for the elderly half-elf and they seem happy at their job. You hear the light jangle of keys in the elderly half-elf’s pocket. There are a number of places on the floor that look like old bloodstains.
The elderly half-elf is clearly assessing the group as he first addresses Macawi, “Nice to meet ya, miss. I am Alan Alyth, owner and proprietor. This quiet morning is a nice reprieve, I must say. We have ale, breakfast and a few rooms.”
A bar hand hears Journey’s request as he is taking a plate of breakfast up the stairs to the second floor. He calls to Journey, "I’ll get it for you in a gif!”
As Qurick requests an ale, Alan turns to the second bar hand who is cleaning glasses next to him. Alan says, “One ale for our guest.” The bar hand takes a clean glass and begins to pour. At the mention of Tarina, the expression on Alan’s face sours. “Ah, that Tarina. She always brings in more than her fair share of Barney Rubble.” His eyes stop on the fresh blood on your weapons and on Qurick’s wounds. “You all aren’t planning any trouble, is ya?” As soon as the question is asked, the armor by the door takes a loud step toward the bar and the half-ogre thrusts her massive head through the doorway with a snort.
"We ran into some bandits trying to start trouble on our way here. We took care of them, but not before they got a few good hits off on us. We aren't in the business of making trouble, just stopping it."
Alan seems satisfied with Qurick’s explanation. He waves off the half-ogre and the armor, saying “Fair enough. Skoona and Klank 'ere 'ave a look after me and me employees. They do not get involved wiv…disagreements among guests.”
“As for Tarina, she is a regular and will likely be 'ere tonight, but I 'ave never known 'er ter arrive before dusk, right? All I ask is that wen yer do rabbit and pork ter her, don’t get her all riled up. That often ends in a blood stain I 'ave ter tidy up later. As a show of good faith, the first ale is on the house.”
Motioning at Qurick’s blood matted feathers, Alan says, “We 'ave rooms for rent where ter can rest up and recuperate. We 'ave two Standard rooms costing 1 gold each, and one deluxe costing 5.”
Each of Journey, Filvendor and Qurick are brought an ale. It is a mediocre brew, weak and somehow warmer than the crisp morning air.
Ourick takes a sip of his ale. He tries to not make a face when he feels the warm ale hit his lips, but he is only partially successful. "A room would be nice, a standard one". Ourick turns to his companions "should we get 2 rooms and split them?"
Alan grabs a key ring from his pocket and removes two keys from it. He hands the two keys to Qurick saying, “’ere ya go. That will be 2 gold.” He adds, “I can show you to your rooms, if you like.” Those that follow him are led up the stairs. You start to get a feel for the layout of the tavern.
[If you take Alan at his word, Tarina likely won’t arrive at the tavern or another 9 hours or so. Let’s have everybody let me know what they want to be doing in that time.]
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Journey would take a moment to take in what Alan said.

Journey turns to Filvendor and will relay what spell is on the scroll. [Mikey can look at my spoiler if he wants to find out what the scroll is.] Journey will ask what he wants to do with the scroll, and will let Filvendor know that he is able to use the spell if he wants to hold on to it. Once this conversation is resolved, Journey would like to find somewhere to buy a health potion to replace the one he used.
After his short rest, Ourick will go back down to the bar and start talking with the innkeeper, trying to get any news, rumors, or just general knowledge of the town and the innkeeper. He will enjoy another ale while he is at it. He will ask where the nearest shops are to get weapons, clothing and general adventuring gear(like health potions).
I turn to Journey and say, "I think I'll hold on to it for now. Thank you, Journey." I make sure to pay for my room, and I will meditate for 4 hours [long rest]. After that, I will wait in the main room downstairs, in one of the corners of the room.

Ourick answers "First, I would like an ale, please! Secondly, We are looking for someone named Tarina, we were told she would probably be here."

"Make that two, please," I say, as I sit next to Journey. I pass the scroll to him. "So, what do you think?" I ask Journey.

[Journey, you can make an arcana check (DC 11) to know the scroll instantly, or you can take a long rest to figure it out without rolling]

“Let me take a look at that Filvendor,” says Journey.

For Journey:
It is a scroll of snare.

"Thank you, Alan. I'm going to get some quick rest." [I take a short rest]
[I'm assuming everyone is paying 5s each for the rooms, marking my part down]
