"Thet ees correct my dragon friend."Misha said. "Bane een Hees eenfeenit weesdom appropriated technology from another world eons ago that allowed Heem the ability to create a race of genetically modeefied holy warriors een an effort to turn zeh tide against our war with Asmodeous. They are what we call Primes. Bane used a beet of Hees blood and one thousand of us were created over the years to lead our warriors eento battle against our most hated enemy. Now, we number less than three hundred. Primes who are programmed weeth leadership abeeleeties eventually become Legion Commanders, and are created weeth one purpose, one destiny, and resolute programming. For us, all we know ees honor, glory, loyalty, strength, domination, and obedience. The rest..does not matter."
Yarog too perked up at the last admittance. "Interesting... I know some wizards grow in power enough for cloning, and that there are the creation forges of warforged on, uh... what was the world again... bah... there is that well. Plus whatever method Lantan uses for its more sentient constructs as well...."He trails off for a moment, and squints at Misha. "But you are different.. the others different... Enhancements were made, as you've said. A wise move for conquest... hmm... Perhaps an acquisition from the Sarruk's old advancement remade by his lordship. Or one of the more forgotten empires. Perhaps even an echo of previous existences. Certainly within the purview of a god... Hmm.... Most Fascinating."He returns back to his idle penning and occasional muttering once more.
For while he may have had story's to tell, intruding more on a happy reunion was never Yarog's way. But he'd listen and note and when the time came after splurge heavily on various 'donations' made to further up his arsenal. Certainly the group would need it to survive the trials the morning after would bring.
Raktimos nods his head sagely, "Yes, a most efficient way to create perfect beings for your own purposes, make them of your own blood." He turns to the rest of those who are still awake, "What of yourselves? What makes you.... (he spits the next word out uncomfortably) ADVENTURERS....?"

Sana smiles. "I grew up on a ship worshipping Tymora, became a Luckbringer, ended up on the Belle of the Sea under Carrhae's command when I was a kid. After we finished an exciting series of adventures involving Tharizdun, I ended up taking over command of the ship with my husband, Chandor. We had a couple kids, they went adventuring, and we converted the Belle to a spelljamming ship. Sailed around the spheres for a while, until a giant beholder rock started going towards Toril. But Tymora brought some amazing allies along - Misha, Jill, Corrin, a few others." She smiles. "After that, we went back to our retirement cruise, with the addition of a couple grandkids. Then Misha sent out her distress beacon, and you know the rest."
As Sana tells her story, Raktimos seems surprised. "My, my, that is a lot to accomplish in such a short time of life. You are considered... older for your kind, Sana?"

From the darkness of the cosmos, a warship tore a rift in space and descended upon Acheron like a hungry predator. From the backdrop of Acheron's red giant star the Executor commenced it's aerial bombardment of the cube while waves of Praxians took to the ground and began the assault. From that moment on, Bane and his people were fighting a war on two fronts, and they were losing. It was time to take the battle to Praxia - the primary objective to eliminate the first wing.
CHAPTER FIVE: RUNES AND THE SHIELDS
OBJECTIVES: Kill enough demons to obtain the runes needed to disable the Executor's shields and teleport into the ship, then, eliminate the first boss in the Visions of Destiny.
EXECUTOR LORE: The Executor is a massive warship bristling with planet offensive weaponry and outfitted with spelljamming and dimensional hopping technology - the seat of Praxia Matyev's power and home of her soldiers and most powerful Lieutenants. Since her exile, Praxia has used her godlike influence and power to sway many Primes and demons to her side, making her all the more powerful. The ship is long and sleek, constructed of both Acheronian and demonic technology. It houses at least ten of Praxia's generals, in addition to her soldiers. Who knows what dangers can be found on board.
NOW: Despite the dangerous weaponry bearing from the Executor, a small insertion team can travel unhindered through the ship once the shields are down. Acheronian scouts report that the vessel harnesses the power of demonic runes to safely defend itself from Acheron's counterattack. If we obtain those runes, it would allow our team a window in which to teleport in and commence our strike mission. Once these runes are integrated into our weapon matrix, Acheron's Imperial War Cannons can puncture the shield and the teleportation spell will be able to bypass the Executor's defenses.
OBJECTIVE MECHANICS:Enough demons will need to be killed in order to gather enough runes to power the Imperial War Cannons of Acheron. Since we're not going to roll and fight hundreds of demons, we're going to have each of you take a turn to do as much damage as you can on a "target” with AC18. Take the total damage you did and that's how many runes you found. Our target number is 500 runes. If we are short of this number the power behind the Imperial War Cannons was enough, but Praxia is alerted of our plan, thus adding to the first bosses HP. We can then teleport over to the Executor.
Raktimos rains fire down on the battlefield, destroying demons from the sky, aloft on his wings, eclipsing the red giant of Acheron for those unlucky enough to be under wing.

This is what he was created for - a battle with overwhelming enemies all around him. The warlock turns himself invisible and wanders out into the fray, looking for one of demon generals. After only a few minutes, he locates one, and points his finger at it, speaking the arcane words of power that drop his invisibility, but sends a massive wave of negative energy into the demon! (Finger of Death, causing 63 necrotic damage on a failed DC18 CON save, half if successful.) The demon, of course, is not amused and attempts to strike back, landing a ranged blow on Zippo. The warlock's well trained reactions discharge a gout of fire back at the demon general in response! (Hellish Rebuke as a reaction: 48 fire damage on a failed DC18 Dex save, half on success.)
Surus observes during this portion of the battle, saving his strength and taking the time to put 5 sorcery points into Bulwark of law. He stays near the back of the group as the rest wade into the fray.
Once a proud genetic creation but despite all his precautions, Prime Koios was unable to avoid succumbing to the will of Praxia, convincing him to fight for her and her cause of a dark future where she is supreme ruler. With his mind completely brainwashed, he now truly believes that the only way he can reform Acheron with Praxia is to remake it with her, and in her name. An Acheronian Prime no longer, Koios now takes his rightful place by Praxia's side as one of her military lieutenants, known as Koios the Dark Tyrant.
CHAPTER SIX: FIRST BOSS OF VISIONS OF DESTINY: DARK TYRANT KOIOS.
OBJECTIVES:Survive the wave of minions and kill the Dark Tyrant Koios.
NOW:With enough runes collected, Misha ordered the Acheronian Imperial Cannons to fire. In a deafening clash, the Executor's shields were shattered for the briefest moment to allow us, the strike team, to teleport onboard. Wasting no time, the Banite Arcane Telemancers cast the spell as we stepped on to the portal. Should this one fail, for whatever reason, we had a backup in the War Hanger. We appeared on the Executor in what appeared to be some sort of large storage area. Cold steel greeted us, along with the smell of demonic taint. A low, massive growling could be heard - the rumbling of the ships massive spelljamming engines.
Seeing at the moment we were safe, Misha gathered us around and we locked arms. "Lord Bane, my Father and Tyrant of War, hear my plea. Grant us your might, your strength, and your wisdom as we enter the heard of darkness of the Betrayer and fight to save our world in your Name. May you watch over us, and be with us, bless us, and should we fall, know that we deed so een your Name."
As if on cue, we were immediately then assaulted by cannon fodder shock troops. Half humanoid and half demonic warriors, deformed and twisted, rushed to our location. The element of surprise was over. We fought through this wave of filth and discovered the location of the Dark Tyrant. Engaging him, we could not allow this twisted destiny to come to pass.
OBJECTIVE MECHANICS:Complete the first challenge, and then roll for initiative.
FIRST CHALLENGE: Praxia's shock troopers assaulted our location, detecting our presence aboard the Executor. In order to get to Dark Tyrant Koios, we had to slay the packs of cannon fodder first. Everyone go ahead, like in the last chapter, take a turn and make an attack vs. AC18. If you use an ability that requires me to make a save, assume I pass. To defeat this wave of filth, 300 damage must be done in order to pass to the second challenge.
"Thet ees correct my dragon friend." Misha said.
