Charisma ascertains that her friends are on high alert. She watches as their eyeballs dart every which way. They are tapping like novelists at a typewriter eeking out the last chapter of an anthology that has taken a lifetime to complete.
She takes her drink and lifts it to clink with the her benefactors glass. "Cheers! And Thank You"
"Are you from the area? Or just a frequent visitor?" She sips her drink and tilts her head batting her eyes coyly.
He lifts his mug to Charisma's toast. "Cheers!" Taking a big swallow. "Yes to both. Me and my mates here run 'The Happy Hold'" He says with a wink. "That's her right over there" He turns to point at one of the many smaller craft docked. "Well, you can't see it so well from here from she's a fine a vessel. I bring what the folks of want here from Guilder and then bring back what the Guilder folk want"
He gets a goofy grin on his face "Where are you from? Maybe I could bring you what you want?"
Edith turns back to face the bar grinning and pinches the bridge of her nose; she was never really one for flirting. She picks up her mug and finishes off the rest of her mead, and giving a nod of thanks pushes the mug back towards the Bartender.

Seeing that there's no danger, Mystwaen will just casually walk over to the fire and take a seat, relaxing and enjoying the warmth of the fire, trying to get a look at the hat without alerting the man.
Charisma tries to subdue her eyes from rolling in response to her gentleman friend's offer. "What I'm looking for is already here in Florin, no need for anyone to bring it to me. My friends and I just have to go get it." She throws back the rest of her drink and swings around on the barstool. Resting her elbows on the bar she arches her back slightly so that the curves of her breast rise up like small hills above her.
"Maybe I will find you for a Happy Hold once our mission is complete"
She eases off the stool, flips her hair, and catches up with Mystwaen heading to the bonfire. "Is he watching me walk away? I don't want to look. Is he watching?"
Dahlia nudges Edith to look at the man who is most definitely watching Charisma walk away and snickers. Then she slides into the vacated stool and calls to the bartender, "My stomach is growling! I'd kill for some spiced stew."
Msytwaen finds a spot by the fire and takes a better look at the hat and surroundings...
You recognize the pin as belonging to a pretty well known shipping company. You think the outfit is called "Marek's Shipping" or maybe "Merrit's Shipping". As far as you remember they just travel between Guilder and Floren and you don't think you've ever encountered them in the open sea. Putting the pieces together between what the guy at the bar said and what you see around the fire it looks like this is the 1st or 2nd mate. With the exception of the 2 folks asleep on their packs you'd guess they are part of the same crew.
She is joined my Charisma. You get a couple nods as you find a place by the fire but everyone seems content to just soak up the warmth and sit in peace.
At the bar:
The bartender syas "Janey should be along any ..." He's interrupted by the clink, clink, clinking of a triangle ringing out from the pier. It's a sound you all know well. The call to food. You can see a lone figure standing on the pier under a lantern ringing a triangle vigorously. As the ringing fades away you hear the sound of hooves and a cart. Looking to the sound you see a woman leading a mule drawn cart. The bartender calls out with a smile "Morning Janey. Got some hungry folks here. I hope you brought plenty!"
Edith smiles as she hears the sound of the triangle. "I guess we don't have to wait too long," she says to Dahlia, turning on her stool to look at the approaching cart.
Mystwaen quickly looks over Charisma's shoulder as she's walking towards the fire, and gives a small nod, affirming Charisma's question. She silently taps "All in Marek's Shipping?" out on her own leg, nodding lightly in the direction of the man. At the sound of the triangle, she looks up, hungry for a nice hot meal.

Janey is a tall thin woman who looks weathered and muscular but the laugh lines etched into her face show her nature. As she approaches she calls out "Don't get your panties in a knot Lefty. I got plenty." The bartender shakes his head at the good natured jibe. "Well don't just stand there, give me your hand" she continues in what seems like a long standing routine. Lefty opens up a side door and starts grabbing things from the cart with Janey. They start lining up baskets and trays on the back counter.
"Aye, Janey's got a sharp tongue but I know she loves me" Lefty replies with a smile. You hear a huff from Janey as she carries in another basket. "Yeah, you keep telling yourself that" Once all the food has been carried in the guy who'd been flirting gives Janey a wave "Hiya Janey. You gonna give me the recipe for your cinnamon rolls today? Got a baker in Guilder offered 100 gold for it"
Janey bursts out laughing "So he offered 200 you mean? Not a chance Luke, but I like it that you keep trying" she says with a wink.
Luke turns to Edith and Dahlia as he puts 2 gold on the bar. You see his two crew-mates follow suit. "It's chef's choice so to say but trust me it's worth it. I'd put my money down quick before the line starts forming. You'll want to get the grub then clear the bar before the riff raff comes in" He says while motioning towards the dock. Following his motion you see lots of movement on the docks as people start waking up and making their way off their boats.
At the fire: The one who's been identified as the mate scoots the woman off his lap with a slap to her ass "Off you go love. Time to get back to work" The other folks who are part of the crew stand and stretch in a not so obvious attempt to keep busy until the mate starts making his way to the bar.
The two who were sleeping on their packs lift their heads bleary eyed to the sound of the bell ringing, look around, and then put their heads back down trying to cover their ear with their arm.
Dahlia smiles at the flirty guy she now knows is called Luke and puts 2 gold on the bar as well. "Thanks for the tip," she says with a wink. When she gets her warm cinnamon roll, she stands up and moves away from the bar, taking a delicate bite and moaning in an almost sexual way. Holy shit, it was totally worth it.
She'll hang around close by Janey, but not close enough to interfere with the woman's work, waiting for a chance to strike up a conversation. She smiles at the other woman if she can catch her eye.
For those at the bar you see that Lefy and Janey work together in silence as they prepare little bundles of goodies in a wrapped cloth. Dahlia unwrapping the cloth finds not only the (legendary) sweet roll but also a fist size chunk of smoked ham with a matching size chunk of soft cheese. 3 good sized flakey rolls, and a handful of dried apples. It is miles above in quality to usual ship fare and you see Luke and the other crewman eyeing their bundles greedily. Luke just picking it up with a "Thank you" as he walks away. The 2 crewman quickly spiting open one of the rolls and tearing off some ham and cheese to make a quick sandwich before wrapping their bundles back up and taking big bites. They both mumble something with full mouths as they follow Luke.
Edith watches Dahila unwrap her bundle and then sets down six gold pieces. "I want to make sure my friends get some before they're gone," she says with a laugh "These look amazing!" After getting the bundles she goes over to Charisma and Mystwaen so that Dahlia can talk to Janey.

“Yep!” Edith replies with a smile. She hands Charisma and Mystwaen their bundles, and then opens hers mimicking what Luke had done earlier, making a small sandwich out of a piece of cinnamon roll, ham, and cheese. “Definitely worth it,” She says after eating it, looking quite happy to have eaten good food. “You should really try the sandwich thing,” she adds tucking the rest of the bundle away for later. She looks over at the people who are still sleeping wondering why they are so tired compared to everyone else.
Charisma unabashedly licks the icing from her fingers and then looks up at the fellows still huddled by the fire. "You boys missed out some mighty tasty treats. Did you pull into port with full stomachs or have ya been awhile?"

By the way they are covering their heads it's probably just a bad hangover.
After all the bundles have been made Janey starts carrying the empty baskets back to the cart.
