Rose is frozen in place when she sees Sera fall. The firbolg is nearly at her limit and feels herself weakening the more she heals, but she had to keep them alive. She needed to keep them alive, and she would do so with every ounce of magic she had left in her, but she grew fearful of the beast lashing out at her next. Then she remembers something.
When winter came, the nuns and priests would often lock Rose in her room to prevent her from going outside to play in the snow in the late hours of the evening, sometimes even keeping watches outside her door to ensure she was safely resting inside. The young girl learned how to pick locks, but the watches caused her to need to learn how to be sneaky. During one of her practice runs, she found herself frozen in fear, face to face with one of the more stricter nuns, but... the nun couldn't see her. With a quick look of her hands, Rose saw through herself, however didn't think much of it before darting back inside her room as quietly as possible once the nun looked away.
She feels it again. That sickening knotting feeling in her stomach. She uses it to turn invisible.
Hidden Step As a bonus action, turn invisible until the start of your next turn, you attack, deal damage, or force a saving throw once per short rest.
Quickly she runs over to Sera, kneeling down to cast Cure Wounds on the unconscious blood hunter before scampering off somewhere safe.

Jasun breathes a sigh of relief and begins dusting off frost from his coat. Fighting while your wardrobe looks so messy, how undignified. He was about to ask if everyone was alright, but someone else had other plans for him at the moment.
A major victory you have had this day. How adorable that you all work together. Are you ready for your next lesson? No tricks, Jezzika. And don't be rough, my companions are beginning to suspect odd behavior from me. They are insignificant. In the cosmic scale of things, no one will remember them, or even care. YOU, however, will be a GOD. Nevertheless, today and now means something to me, and to them. And, I am not interested in being a god, only to expand my wisdom of the universe. Oh, how your ignorance is adorable. I was once like you. You seek knowledge and power, and you have no idea how much I have, and can give you. Well, my dear, I have an idea, but you have yet to tell me the cost. It is time for another lesson. By the will of T'Vauz your power grows, and as it does, your silly wishes will be granted and eventually you will submit and ascend. Jezzika, I told you, I am only here t-
As the fireworks were lit, Jasun momentarily vanished from his spot in a dark flash as he was dusting himself off, and reappeared a few feet away an instant later, sprawled on the floor like he was tossed and covered in an inky black goo as if something from another time and space had birthed him into this reality violently and wetly. He laid there for a moment, fuming, feeling like a fool that Jezzika would take him seriously. He did, however, appreciate the additional cosmic knowledge he possessed now, even though it took him through an entity he could neither explain nor describe.
"Is everyone alright?"he asked, slowly getting up like nothing happened.
"I need a good night's sleep, but I'm functional," Sera tells Rose as she finishes wrapping her palm.

Sera glances at Jasun as he pops back into existence and offers him a hand up. Her expression suggests that there will be questions at some point, just...not yet.

After having done a final look over everyone, Rose is able to breathe easier. She watches as the fireworks get set off, only for her attention to be diverted to Jasun who seemingly popped out of existence, only to then be spat out once again, covered in an odd substance. While Sera assisted him back up, the firbolg approaches him cautiously, reaching out to scoop up a bit of the ink on her fingers and get a closer look at it.

Jirel would be cold an distant. Her body would waver only slightly, taking an obvious beating from the fight. But she didn’t care. She simply stood there and watched the fireworks that she was once so excited to see. The Goliath’s eyes would glance to the others, but as there was no purpose for her there, she’d look back up to the sky. Not even a grunt.
Sera leaves Rose and Jasun talking for a moment and heads over to Jirel. She glances up at the fireworks, then at the goliath. "Hard fight. You sure you're all right?"
Jirel would appreciate Sera’s presence although she won’t physically react to her approach. Truthfully, most times the barbarian’s looking for an opponent to succeed in taking her down. She was honestly surprised that the dragons breath scathed her as much as it did, but she found a sliver of herself disappointed that it didn’t try again. There was something about this battle that lacked a sense of satisfaction for her.
Sera would manage to get a grunt out of the goliath. Jirel’s attention would waver from the light show above. “I expected more out of my performance.” Was her honest answer. Not that she didn’t think she contributed, but it was not a warriors performance. “I’m relieved you’re alright.” She’d say genuinely. Of course she was happy Sera and the others were okay, but that was no thanks to her. It felt like a hollow victory. And it was time to simply rest and prepare for the next opponent.
Sera smiles faintly. "You're not the only one disappointed with how she did. But the dragon's dead, the kids are safe. We saved a whole city, Jirel." She looks up at the fireworks. "Well, hopefully. Besides, if you really want to find another fight..." She nods down at the streets. "There's a whole battle going on below us. We could find some Winter Guard and help Solveig's people out a bit." She looks at Jirel. "But honestly? You don't need to prove yourself. You're already an incredible, strong, kickass warrior, who's saved our lives plenty of times. You don't need to always strike the final blow, or come close to death, to prove your ability, your value. You're already proven."
Jirel would turn to Sera, and as much as she appreciated the fellow warriors words, she had partially misinterpreted her disappointment. She’d sigh over all the words and efforts Sera just spent on her. The barbarian was tired of trying to weave the right words for communication. She failed every time. Now she just seemed ungrateful.
“It’s not that I’m not pleased that this threat is done. It’s not that I’m not relieved the children are safe. It’s not that I don’t know everyone has bad days or bad swings. And it’s definitely not over who gets the final blow.” The goliath would scoff.
She knew Sera was trying to bring her peace, and as much as she just wanted to walk away and chop some wood, Jirel didn’t want to just brush Sera off. The barbarian would exhale a deep breath before turning to look back at the sky. “Sera, I will forever have a feeling of loss an inadequacy because I’ve already failed at protecting the only good thing to come from my past.” Her hand would rest over her lower abdomen. “I’ve been conditioned to forever be angered... unsatisfied...” The goliaths teeth with clench, “I’m forever caught in the cycle... And if I can’t protect...” She’d shake her head to push the bubbling emotions down. “I just get caught up, lost and struggling in the sea of sorrow that feeds my rage. Sometimes I can only find comfort in the only thing I know, cutting with an axe.” Be it flesh, beast, or simply wood. It was the only constant she knew. “Nothing some food and a nap can’t fix, right?” She’d add simply, as encouraging as she could at the end.
Sera resists the urge to sigh. She knew that she had trouble with her own interpretation and communication. She looks at Jirel. "Okay, **** it. I'm no good with words and interpretation and all that shit. But whatever happened in your past? It doesn't define you. It's not nothing, either, but it's not all of you. And trust me, I know that's easier said than done. But if you feel like getting a drink, or want someone to watch your back while you hit stuff with your axe, let me know, okay? And don't let anyone tell you what you can't do," she adds. "Define yourself by what you can. Also, as soon as we're out of the city, I'm going to need your help getting some wood so I can burn this damn hat." She grins.
Suddenly a wave of heat washes over Zaf from behind as if struck by the exact opposite of Logrivich's, leaving him suffering such complete, heated agony, the humanoid could not even choke out a scream. The last thing he hears as the world grows dark is a feminine voice calling his name. A voice that felt as if it emanated... from himself?
Then, he blinks, and abruptly is back at the present, wings folded over the body like an extra cloak as he clutched at his arms. To any onlooker, it would've looked as if Zaf had been lost in thought for the past few seconds, before more pointedly shielding himself from the wind. And in seeing the others more or less focused either on Jasun, the hoard, or other things entirely, Zaf took the time to steady his breathing. "We may find ourselves embroiled in the fight yet. But, we should take what we can, and return to that one place to recover at once."He said as soon as able to do so calmly, and leads by example in fluttering over to check the treasure pile.
Out of everything there, it is only the censar he takes, siting -- only if asked -- an intention of repaying a debt to Desna in returning it to the clergy. Of everything else, only the owl figurine holds his gaze for a moment longer, before promptly shaking his head, wishing not to be greedy.
