Wraith turns to Tenrow and says loud enough to carry to the next table. "We be out of work for sure now. Surely that wee lordling who hired us to safeguard his ship, be wanting our heads for his ship being burned by that rabble. We be none the richer for our troubles too. A curse upon the well to do nobility with their silver spoons up their bums. What are two sell swords to do against a mob. Be sure that the mob had the right of it too. Damn nobles!"
Wraith accepts his ale from the serving wench. As she brings it to him, he grabs her about the waist and pulls her onto his lap. He says to her, "Here love, do ye know of any work here abouts for two sell swords? We be honest men now; no killing of babes or ravishing of maids, less they desire ravishing." Wraith says to her with a leer as he admires her curves from his vantage point. "We prefer action to guarding a boring post mind ye. Do ye know of someone in need, fair one?" Wraith smiles at her full of confidence; but his eyes speak of earnest need to find work.
Wraith looks over at the fishermen at the next table. He flashes a confident smile at them as he says, "Aye, the pompous fools. The high and mighty lording over their betters just because their ancestors saved some other lords arse in some forgotten battle. I've saved many a lordling arse. Where be me title and gold?! Huh?! A pox upon them, I say."
He pinches the serving girl's bottom as she is still seated in his lap and pushes her out of his lap as she squirms away from his pinching fingers. He presses a gold coin into her hand and flashes a smile that promises of more attention later. He says to her, "Be a dear, luv! Bring me and me fine lads here a round of ale, meat, and cheese."
He nods to Tenrow and moves to join the fishermen at their table. He says to them, "I be Angus, a former soldier, turned adventurer, and now a lowly sell sword. Times be hard and dragon hoards be hard to come by, especially with the Dragon unattached to it. I be done serving the likes of his whiney lordship. Do ye lads know of anyone looking for a couple of blades? We be honest men mind ye. No slaying of babes or women. Well not all women."Wraith nods to the individual fishermen as he speaks and salutes the table with his mug of ale.
Wraith drops his voice to a conspiratorial whisper and says, "We be interested. Say on friend. Say on."Wraith nods to the individual fishermen as he speaks to encourage the conversation moving forward.
" See, last month Drago and his men marched into town and decided to put a protection fee on the ships. Anyone who wants to park have to pay a protection fee. He left that blasted woman here in charge of all these things so he doesn't need to be here. So a few of us came up with this plan to drive them out of town so they could stop bullying us. "
"Yeah this Drago sounds like a real piece of biz'niz." Tenrow will take another swig of his ale.
"Say, who is this woman he left behind? We don't need any babysitters watching over us. Maybe we should start with her and send Drago a message, huh? What do you think?" Tenrow will try and sound like the alcohol is giving him courage to speak up and speak out against Drago and this woman he left behind.

" Hmm, I don't know where she is, I think they have it in camp in the leaders pack, though. "
Hi! Since I would like to use some information in my home campaign to make references to your characters (wink wink!;) ) and to share information with you guys, I have made a grey hunters wiki. You are more than welcome to make a page for your character. I would also like it a lot if you would mind putting up your adventures on the wiki.

Wraith takes the offered plate of bacon. He says, "Many thanks, friend. It's been a few days since we had anything remotely resembling a hot meal. My comrade was correct, we are out of work. Do you need some experienced swordsmen?" As he speaks Wraith looks around to notice the layout of the camp itself, location of latrine ditches, sentry pickets, etc. to gauge the experience of the camp commander and organization of this group.

The camp is in bad shape, several of the tents are pieces of cloth hung on a wooden beam. The men look weary, and it is obvious at first glance they are not warriors.
"Yeah, not to repeat myself any but we're not freeloaders or anything of that sort, we've each got two good swords and the strong arms to swing them with if there's any way to pay you back for the meal." Tenrow accepts and eats some of the bacon quickly to show how hungry he is while waiting for a reply to his inquiry.
" Sure, Sir Garivin wants someone to scout the harbor for further plans of the nobles, you up for that? "

The fisher folk nod at you, but still halting the conversation.

The fishermen immediately look more relaxed. " You hate lords, you say. "

" Hmm, we do have a job. Not easy to be on the wrong side of the government, though. Heard they sent a few of those Hunter lads over . "
" They... have power and money, that's why they got us all to pay protection fee's for docking our ships. "

" The leaders camp is under the bridge near dock street. "
They have finished.
Wraith nods and says, " Aye. We shall." He nods to the fisher folk in parting.
The camp under the bridge is a crude number of tents packed in a shadowy area, as you approach you smell bacon
Several men are looking at you suspiciously at the perimeter.
" What yer here for? "
He leads you to the kitchen and gives you a plate of bacon " These are hard times, we have to share what we get with out brothers. "
