"Could lure the birds to the ships so they can fire upon them......best backup plan I can think of in our situation......but that's jumping ahead......we have to get there first....."

Twitch was angry at herself for not spending more time listening to her granfather's lessons about hunting birds. Some of that wisdom would surely have come in handy now. Without a better plan at hand though, she simply nods in agreement and readies her two daggers.

Paren looks up and around. "I believe I could use a technique I learned from some of the other monks to give myself a better chance of getting away. I could act as the bait. I'm faster than the rest of you." 

"On foot perhaps, but by wing I am quick as well......we could both head out.....leave the others to slip in undetected behind us.....we get to the ships, and we engage the beasts....."

Paren nods. "It's worth a try at least." 

"Far as I can see, that's the best option we have..... unless you all want to try and engage them here..."

”My speciality lies with saving lives, note taking them, so I will leave the battle planning to you. I’ll do my best to make sure you are getting out alive.” Elhanna say while nodding along with the plan. 

"Alright...."

Si'Juul begins doing stretches for his limbs and wings once more, preparing his body for the undoubtedly exerting flight ahead of him.

((Would we have been able to take a Short Rest before starting this idea?))

 Sure, you've been poking around and discussing stuff for a while. We can call it a short rest.

"I think we are as prepared as we are going to be"

Paren crouches by the door, a dart in his hand, ready to run. "Count of 3?"

Si'Juul takes a stance behind Paren, ready to tear out of the tower.

"Right behind you...."

Then he smirks.

"......for now...."

Paren smiles back and takes off running out the door and down the steps, yelling his head off. 

Paren runs across the courtyard, and the Eveswyrms, attracted by the yelling, swoop down at a tremendous pace. It doesn't look like Paren will even make it to the carved stone stairs before he becomes dragon-bird food.

Si'Juul speeds out of the tower and flies directly between Paren and the Eveswyrms as he speeds towards the ships.

"Come on, bird breath! Remember me?!"

(Using a Dash for a full 100ft)

They are bigger and faster than Si'Juul, but since they are starting from the tower top, they do not reach him right away....

They make squawky noises to each other, and it seems that one is changing its focus to Si'Juul, while the other concentrates on Paren.

Even if he takes a few licks of damage, Si'Juul will keep dashing towards the ships, specifically the mobius.

If the captain happens to be on deck, Si'Juul will plow right into him, dropping and pinning him to the deck and clapping a hand over his mouth.

Through obviously ragged breaths from exertion, he says, "Not a word out of you!"

Then lifting his head to the look at the crew,

"Harpoons! Now!!"

He points behind him towards the beast chasing him.

(Or if the Eveswyrm manages to arrive at the ship at the same time, he will still run into the captain and just hope the crew get the idea.)

(It will take about 6 turns for you to reach the ship.)
