Down in the ship, the captain asks Twitch if there were any more of those creatures, and asks about the wizard.
Up in the lighthouse, everything is quiet except for the crackle of flames and the occasional flare or rocket still shooting off.

Si'Juul sees nothing else on the clifftop that seems interesting, though as the nest burns down, he can see a pillar-like shape amid the flames.
The laboratory has been open to wind, weather and wildlife for at least several days, as well as having been actively destroyed by the Eveswyrmns. Most of the wizard's notes have been lost. But since he searches so carefully, Paren finds a very old backup spellbook under a false bottom in one of the drawers. Most of the ink has been blotted and washed out by potion spilled from the broken bottles, but he is able to make out a few spells:
Chromatic Orb
Witch Bolt
Tenser's Floating disc
Misty Step
Water Breathing

Elhanna doesn't find anything....most of the books that used to be on these shelves have been shredded, scattered, rained-on and chewed. There is a small bookshelf in the untouched living quarters at the bottom of the lighthouse, but it only contains books on nautical subjects...like 101 Useful Knots, and The History of Modern Shipbuilding, and The Adventures of a Sea Elf in the Triton Deeps.
Si'Juul can't get too close, since the fire is still going, but it looks as if there's a pillar with some sort of globe at the top of it. All covered in soot, of course.

The tower top and the burning nest are about 25 feet across. The pillar with the globe ius at the center of the fire. Are you sure Si'Juul wants to go into the fire?

The pillar is about three-four feet tall, and the globe is on top of that. The metal plate that forms the roof is about ten feet high. Heat is rising from the 5-foot-high flames, making this area sort of an oven. If it weren't for the metal plate and the glowing lighthouse llght above it, you could maybe dive down to the globe, but there is no way to do that: you are going to get baked if you go into the nest area right now.
It might be better to either wait till the fire has gone out or extinguish it. Unless you don't mind risking becoming a roasted turkey.

After things on the boat have sufficiently calmed down, Twitch will slwoly make the ardous climb again, wanting to take another look at the tower and its resources. Seeing the "useless" books, she'd be all over the 101 Knots and the History of Shipbuilding, trying her utmost to add them to her personal collection to learn from.

If Twitch make it back before we leave for the beach she won’t find the book. Elhanna has already taken it for herself. They are going to be on the sea quite a time a d she thinks it is good if she knows how to knot knots. She will also take the Adventures of the Sea Elf book, thinking it will be a good ‘read-before-going-to-bed-book’. After thinking for a little while the take The History of Modern Shipbuilding as well.
Twitch probably know everything in here already. But she might like it anyway... she put all three books in her ‘new’ wizards bag since she left her backpack down at the beach.
Paren kicks the body over the side to dispose of it and then starts after the cleric. At the bottom he sets up on the beach and begins another series of mediations. He puts the spellbook in his bag for later.

Twitch notices that the wizard bag doesn't weigh any more with the books in than when it was empty.
After a while, with no more air threats in view, the ship's crew is sent to continue collecting supplies from the island.
The fire dies down, and eventually even the hot coals go out. Si'Juul's fanning the flames helped it burn hotter and brighter, but also probably helped reduce the time it took for the fire to burn down. It is probably safe to land on the tower top again. There is still a thick coating of blackened, dried mud on the tower top, and it's all hot and smoky, but no longer in danger of lighting you on fire.
