"Yes, I am. Hard to hide it. Are any of you going to join me in going to this tower? Speaking of, do you have any idea where this tower might be? Surely in your time you have encountered at least one."

Oleg nods. "Ah yes, I suppose more context would be good. My apologies."

"Ephesian is a cleric of Ilmater and is the keeper of The Lighthouse. The Lighthouse is an old wizards towner in Torn, a town about a day up the coast. The church has turned the Lighthouse in to a centre for training acolytes"

"It seems that that Father Ephesian has recently been joined at the tower by a member of your organization. Together they have walled off the tower using some sort of magic. An attempt to enter by three other members of the order has failed." 

"The church is most concerned because the light on the Lighthouse has gone out, causing two shipwrecks. As well an acolyte was found slain outside of the tower on the morning this was went." 

"We have experience with lighthouse towers. If nothing else, I should be able to fly at least a couple of you up if we can't manage to get in."

Twitch looks to Si'Juul. "I'm in. This could be a way to find out more about the other members, and deal with one of them already."

"Cleric of Ilmater?" says Poinki with interest. "Poinki talk to him. We go!"

Elhana is a bit hesitant to share the groups excitement. On one hand she has been taught to help others when she can and show kindness. To refuse to help out would be wrong, especially when this might be of help to Si’Juul, her friend, as well. On the other hand she has a hard time seeing  how this will help her raise money for her town and church. 

Oh Mishakel, I can but trust in your guidance and hope that an opportunity will come where I can help both my friends and my family..

Oleg nods. "Good, good. I will see about convincing whoever's in charge of the site to let you four go inside if you can. You managed to talk me down without a fight and if Father Ephesian is suffering something similar you may be able to do the same for him. He is a good man and I would like to hear what's happened from him if at all possible."

Unfortunately it doesn't seem like Mishakel was listening to your prayer today, or at least they haven't responded in a way that you've noticed.

"Well then, we should be on our way."

Si'Juul exits the house and begins walking.

Poinki follows, looking back at his friend. Elhanna looks hesitant and worried. "Come on, Elhanna!  We do good things, good things happen. Gods take care of us."

Once the group has traveled the road a bit, Si'Juul stops and turns around to look at everyone.

"Okay, I just want to make one thing clear, and I will not budge on this. This could be a trap to lure me out, so as we get close I want you all to hide somewhere nearby if you can. I will fly up to the top of the tower, maybe I can talk to whoever is there. If it is a trap, then I think my signal will be quite obvious. At the very least I can provide a distraction allowing you to try to make your way up."

Si'Juul then looks down at the ground to his side.

"If it is a trap and my chances are slim to none......then you should save yourselves. I don't want you getting yourselves killed. If it is a trap, they will only want me......hopefully......"

Twitch shakes her head, vehemently. "The last time we fought on a tower, I hurled myself over a cliff to get to the boats faster in order to help you and Paren. You really think I'll let you head into a trap by yourself?"

"Intelligent people with strong weaponry are far more dangerous than a couple savage beasts, Twitch. I hope I can just fly up and maybe find another like me, fed up with the Brand. But I have never been that lucky."

Oleg walks along with you, slightly slowed by his need for a walking stick but still able to keep up with the group. "I do hope that we can end this all peacefully. Father Ephesian has always been a good and devoted man, I don't know what could have happened to make him do something so irrational." 

"We friends. Not go alone," Poinki stubbornly backs up Twitch. "You not alone. Goblins little and weak. Only survive together. Alone is death."

Si'Juul looks to Oleg.

"Didn't know you were coming with us. Just let me know when we get close."

"They asked for me. I figure it might be best if I come with. I don't think I'll go up with you. I'll do my best to convince them that you are the right people for the job." 

“I’m sorry Si’Juul, but we won’t let you go in alone. I’m sorry to say it, and I mean no offense, but your are not really a smooth talker, so your chances to talk them down by your self are slim. And what if it really is a trap and they take hostages? What then?” So lay a gentile hand on his large shoulder. ”No we all go or no one goes. All who agree say aye.” 

"I know I am not the best with words, but it seems I was misunderstood on two points. First, I never meant I go alone, just I take to the air while you all make your way through the tower. Second, while you do that, if this person is like me, then there won't be a need to talk anyone down. If we are on the same side, then we can all just have a conversation. Simply put, I see what I see from the air, while you make your way inside. And as for hostages, even if they actually manage to catch me, they will likely just kill me. Unless they have changed more severely than I thought, they won't bother with hostages."

Si'Juul looks in thought for a moment.

"There are two other things we could do. While I fly up, Poinki hangs on my straps behind my back. His small frame should be easy to hide behind me. Or, I carry Oleg, he gets recognized by his friend, and we can avoid a confrontation altogether."
