As you rush in, the mindflayer looks a little surprised as he stands up and begins floating towards a door to the west of the chamber. 

With a courage that was atypical, Cora bum rushed Grum'shar, blades out, seeing as how he was stepping on our mission contact.

"Hi, how's it going. I'm Cora, i'll be kicking your ass tonight. But first, drop and gimme twenty."

Superiority Die: 2

Trip Attack: When you hit with a weapon attack, you can expend one superiority die to add the total to the damage roll, and if the target is Large or smaller, it must make a STR saving throw (DC 14). On failure, you knock the target prone.

Your first attack bounces of a glimmering magical barrier, but your second attack sneaks through. 

Cora barked a swear word, seeing as how the orc was still on his feet. It only made her more annoyed.

“Can’t say you didn’t try your best!” The soldier laughs after hearing the rogue curse as he readies his blade and makes an attack!

Since I’m sure that misses, Vincent will also bark out a curse word in frustration.

Your attack stops mid air, blocked by a shimmering magical shield. 

Lu-lu sees Cora and Vincent having trouble with the orc and tries to help by pulling Floon out from under the orc.

ATHLETICS: 23

You rush forward and are easily able to drag Floon out from under the torturer and get him behind you. 

The small brain on legs walks towards LuLu, she feels her brain being assulted, please make a dc12 intelligence save or take 15 psychic damage and if your intelligence is less than 9 your intelligence is reduced to 0 and you are stunned till it goes back up. 

Grum'shar spreads his hands towards Cora and Vincent, they need to make a dc12 dex save for half 16 fire damage as his hands burst out in flames. He smiles and looks at Floon, "Brought some friends to die for you? Maybe then you'll tell me about where the dragons are."

You all watch as the legged brain turns to LuLu and LuLu collapses to the ground

"How about I tell you where i'm gonna stick these blades?" Cora returns in Floon's defense, avoiding most of the flames. But then, "Lu-lu!"

Heishe smirks. "Oh but darling, I'm right here, no need to keep asking," she says with a sharp-toothed smile as her scaled hands form a crackling ball of lightning that she hurls at Grum'shar.

”I’m gettin’ too old for this...” Vincent mutters.

Heishe's blast blows a rather large burn in the side of the half-orc and he falls to his knees. "I doubt you are worth as much as the dragons I want," he growls at you. He looks to be on his last feet. 

The mindflayer floats out of the room and you all hear in your mind, "An attack on the Xanathar Guild? You are an interesting lot." It floats into Q11 and out of sight.

Drusilla's going to let the mindflayer go, since she's not an idiot. And she's going to shoot Grum'shar with her crossbow, since Sacred Flame is useless.
