Tarric waits for everyone to get inside, or on, the carriage and then has the horses pick up speed. "It'll be dark before we meet the next settlement; do we ride through the night until we reach it or do you want to stop somewhere before the sun falls?" He asks the group.
“The best thing to do will probably stop somewhere for the night. We don’t want to fight anything that has an advantage over us at night,” Addi says while drawing in her notebook.
Cobash shrugs at Addi, "Cobash see in dark, so night time not really bother. But if rest of you want to camp, am happy to stop." He looks ahead down the road and back the way they've come. "Maybe find somewhere off road though. Don't want travelling thief to get idea of easy pickings."
"Why don't we find somewhere off the road where we can camp. We need to be rested and ready before we fight evil. But, we probably should take turns keeping a look out, just in case something does decide to attack us." Branra says.
"Alright, when the sun gets close to the horizon, I'll find us a good place to rest for the night. By the way, the backs of the seats fold down into cots, you'll have to sleep with someone above you; but it'll do the trick." Tarric calls down to the carriage's cabin. "I'll be good up here, so don't you worry about me."
It isn't long before the sun begins to fade, the day creeping towards the horizon, and Tarric pulls the carriage to a patch of long grass to the side of the road. The horses enjoy the rest and the thick supply of fresh food. Sedna turns to you all; "So, who's going to be top bunk and who's going to be bottom?"
Cobash grunts and points to the ground under the carriage. "I sleep here. Like more space than cramped carriage." He goes about setting up his bedroll. "Any of you hungry? Think I want some dinner after long day on road," he says as he rubs his grumbling stomach.
"I'll see if I can find us anything fresh to eat tonight" Branra says as he grabs his javelin and hunting trap before heading into the undergrowth. survival13
He will mainly try to spear something with his javelin and/or find berries, but, the barbarian will also find a good spot to set a trap so that they might have fresh meat in the morning.
ooc Because of his outlander background, Branra can supposedly find food and fresh water for himself and up to five other people. I don't know how that applies to this particular situation.
Branra, the plains are teeming with life; at least until you get done with it. You may have your pick of a variety of creatures, from Rabbits, to Moles, to Pheasants, to Field Mice, to even a Fox careless enough to stumble into your trap area. Of course, there is also that small pack of wild pigs; but they'll be harder to bring down than these small fries. You may even need some help to do it.
The thick hairy wild creatures seem to be eating a patch of something. Whether that was a wild vegetable or some small unfortunate creature; they appear very invested into it. There are three there, and another two not far away which are larger in size.
Cobash points to the two different groups of wild pigs - Which one? With several of them, and no range, Cobash stays close to Branra in order to protect him and also to be ready to act as quickly as possible.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Let's go after one of the smaller ones." The barbarian will creep up to within 30 feet of the three wild pigs and throw his javelin at one of them. Attack: 5 Damage: 6
After throwing the javelin, he will pull out his long sword, ready to defend if the pigs come after him.
Turning to Cobash, Branra says "Let's go get our dinner. But, we better keep an eye out on those two bigger pigs. They're probably the parents and might be a little pissed at us killing one of their children."
Once at the carcass of the dead pig, Branra will relieve his javelin and then proceed to tie the dead pig's legs together. He will see if him and Cobash can use the javelin to carry the dead pig back to their campsite.

Cobash nods, "Nice throw. Let us take pig back for dinner." He pats Branra on the shoulder as they move off, but watches the two larger pigs as they carefully make their way forward.

"So you want the basement bunk." Sedna says, before her high-pitched voice breaks out into a laugh.
"Anything is better than trail rations." Tarric replies to the offer of food.

“I’ll take the bottom bunk,” Addi says. She starts putting her stuff below her cot.

Cobash will aid Branra in his hunt, so if he wants to hunt the pigs, the half-orc grunts in agreement.
When Cobash gets up to join Branra, and they see the wild pigs, the tiefling says "one pig would make a nice meal for all of us. Let's get one!"

After throwing the javelin, he will pull out his long sword, ready to defend if the pigs come after him.
With that one throw, the pig lays dead at the ground, fresh blood flowing from it's wound; the other two pigs flee away towards the two larger pigs.
