As you walk about to the front of the factory, something is seen sitting behind the pillar on the far side. It had been obscured before, and its covered in the gas thats been moving about the floor like a fog.
Its shaking, violently trembling in silence in the shadow of the flame topped column. The hunter moves inside the factory, careful to avoid its sight.
All along the ground there is discarded metal waste, useless slag that pools atop usable metal in the refining process and is pulled off by rakes.
The tools used in the factory process are scattered about, and the Ironworks smeared in blood. As you make your way through, you come to the other side of the wheezing creature.
Marchosias is a step or two behind Onyx. He was of a mind to shoot anything that moved in this place, but he would defer to the collective judgement of the other hunters.
Grahl will follow the others, every few steps he stops to look towards the creature a bit disappointed he does not get to fight it. But continues walking and following the hunter.
Based on the silhouette that we can somewhat make out from the creature and the wheezing sound it makes, does Arbon call upon any historical information that might help tell what it is or how to deal with it? (History: 6)
(Edit - haha nevermind, not with a roll like that! Oh man.)
In the dim light of forge, torch, and, stave, the thick smog of diseased smell obscures vision. As before, you are surrounded by metal factory and stone wall. The creatures writhes in agony, and Onyx's blast is well readied.
You all begin to approach it slowly, the hunter most cautiously leading. Onyx can perceive that the figure is humanoid, of average, non dwarven, size, and nothing more. Marchosias and Grahl closely behind realize nothing more than its apparent difficulty breathing.
Arbon takes a pause, he cannot remember seeing anything like this. Its just another human to him, but surviving in this place seems impossible.
Chazrael passed Arbon taking his pause to move into good firing range at the target, closely following the hunter ready to shoot on his mark.
You all are about 50 feet from it when it comes into sight. Its a human, ragged and wretched, curled to its knees wheezing. Its skin, a rotted mold grey of once tan flesh. He's dressed in torn black robes, with a rope cord belt.
The hunter looks to you all, unable to speak at this distance without drawing attention with a “what do you want to do?” kind of gesture and head nod to the figure.
It doesn't appear to particularly spectacular, and more importantly, it doesn't appear to be the source of the gas.
You all realized with absolute certainty that the gas is coming from something hidden in the room. A huge pop of bubbling magma sends a geyser of molten metal in the air illuminating the now 70 foot ceiling (at its highest) for a moment.
You all look to the top of the pillars and realize there are ladders and catwalks moving to and from dozens of cavern tunnels in the ceiling and sidewalls above you all. There are small moving figures that also observed the event that ended as quickly as it began and in the following moments there is that once again ominous silence.
Finally the figure's wheezing continued breaking the freeze. The boiling magma rolled into a simmer having released its pressure, and the pillars coughed dark grey smoke once more.
The hunter, having held his breath the entire time, lets it out and sets out to investigate the human quickly having seen the things in the dark. He reaches 35 feet, and jumps back!
There is a sudden SLAM against the metallic floor followed by a second then a third then a fourth. Its an awful sounding splash mixed with a sickening slide to an upright standing position. the wheezing figure joining the group.
As the hunter moves back to stand next to Onyx Grahl wastes no time and sprints into action. His build up frustration from having to walk past the weezing creature before now turns to anger. With large steps he moves forward adrenaline flowing through him seeing multiple foes he knows this would be a great battle to honor Gruumsh. To redeem himself from not delivering the killing blow before. With each step his anger grows.
His eyes lock onto creature #2 as much else fades and becomes blurry as he moves, focussing his anger and turning it into rage (BA: rage)
Grahl turns his body sideways to the right while still running forward, holding his axe firm with both hands swinging it back. He moves a good step past creature #2 before putting his strenght into swinging his axe forward. Using the momentum of the sprint and his strenght to delivery a horizontal swing towards the creature. Bellowing in rage as he does this AAAarrgghh!!
Axe Attack: 9 Damage: 17 (with adv. given by DM)
(lol wow such display such failure, with advantage even. Well the strenght of the attack is there just not accurate)
(can i use the inspiration to reroll that attack roll? Not with adv i gues but as normal tohit roll)
Arbon, a little slower off the mark than the rest, charges into battle towards the closest foe (guessing enemy 1 unless it's down). He swings his mace at the fiend (Attack: 10 Damage: 6), and then bashes the mace against his shield to rattle the cages, taunting the fiends, "Haha sneaky jumping down like that, but it won't save the likes of you!"
Marchosias will also move to maintain some distance and take a shot at the nearest foe. Should be be in melee by the time he can act, he instead uses his rapier with identical attack stats.
Attack: 7 Damage: 10

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
He was done with his cursing incantation almost as soon as he'd finish stepping back. Still, even as skittish as he was, Onyx couldn't help but find something to ponder over in the situation.
"Hmmm," he started, "what curious creatures. Possessed? Regardless, I must get a better look at them afterwards." As he spoke, almost in the tone of an academic planning a lecture, he let lose with his patron's power.
MOVE: Step back a good ten feet BONUS ACTION: Cast Hex, targeting creature #2, and specifying to cripple his Strength skills (if #2 is dead, then #3, or #1, or #5, in that order) ACTION: Fire an Eldritch Blast at the same creature - Spell Attack roll: 10, Damage incl. crit: 9
Which much determination and anger, Grahl swings his massive ax into the creatures (2) mid section , damn near cutting the thing in half on the first shot. Chazrael fired an arrow at the creature on his left (1) but missed! Seeing this, Onyx stepped back, and threw hex at the one the arrow had slid passed (1), landing it without fail before blowing the creatures chest open and sending it flying back into the column a couple of feet behind it. Marchosias walked up and finished it (1) with a stab in the eye socket as it writhed against the column before taking a step back. As the third creature finally got to its feet, Arbon walked over and sat it back down with a thud and a crash into its knee.
The creatures don't take such advances lying down and make some efforts to respond! (4) Runs from the back to where (1) was standing and makes a strike at Arbon! (2) writhes on the end of Grahls ax and dies. (5) moves up to where (2) was, and takes wild swings at Grahl! (1) lays there dead against the column, having being blown up and stabbed. (3) gets back to its feet and takes a swing at Grahl as well.
223 Enemy (4) to Arbon
95 Enemy (5) to Grahl
164 Enemy (3) To Grahl
The hunter responds in his usual way, by curing lightly and stepping back to throw something. He reaches for his back pocket and lobs a heavy iron ball at (5)'s face.

A heavy groaning is heard, and the catwalk running across the pillars breaks, bending and crashing followed by the ripping of several metal rivets tearing the connecting ladders from the top as it drops in the magma and melts to liquid. The splash doesn't hit anyone, and the creature's are unfazed. There's still a ladder leading to the top of the left column from the side, but it appears the right column is no longer accessible.
Arbon lights Onyx' staff in the back, then creeps forward with the hunter.
